The Robinson R-44 helicopters have a seating arrangement for 3 passengers, ensuring that each guest enjoys a window seat. The Airbus Astar helicopters can accommodate up to 6 passengers and provide spacious cabins with panoramic views from all seats.
When guests make a booking, they will be placed on the most suitable aircraft based on weight and balance.
Restrictions
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
- Children of all ages can participate in this activity.
- Guests who weigh 260-279 lbs will be charged a 50% seat surcharge.
- Guests who weigh 280lbs or more will be charged the cost of an additional seat.
- Children 24 months & under can sit on the lap of an adult at no additional charge.
- Hats and loose articles of clothing are not allowed the helicopter.
- Parties with children 24 months & under will automatically be switched to a doors-on flight. If a child is at least 50 lbs. with their own seat, they can operate a doors-off flight provided the child is at least two seats away from an open door.
Required items to bring & attire
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- Closed-toe shoes are required, and sandals or flip-flops are not allowed.
- Due to the cold temperatures, guests are required to wear a sweatshirt or jacket.
- Guests with long hair must have their hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun.
Other requirements
- Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the time of check-in.
- In compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulation, Rainbow Helicopters will weigh each individual, along with any hand carried items, when checking in at the heliports for safety and weight balance of the aircraft. This is done discreetly for your privacy, and you must provide accurate body weights for all passengers. Misrepresentation of body weight could result in denial of service without refund.
