Check-in at Kewalo Harbor

As you begin on your journey along the Waikiki coastline, your captain and knowledgeable crew will explain all of the history behind the double-hulled Kamoauli canoe. Handmade in Tonga, it traversed the Pacific Ocean so that you can experience the wonder of an authentic Polynesian voyaging canoe.

The cultural practitioners on-board the Kamoauli will share their love of the islands and its culture by teaching different aspects of Hawaiian life and history. Learn to pound taro into poi, listen to music played on the ukulele, watch a hula dance, and experience the unique wonder that is Hawaii.

Try a number of delicious Hawaiian dishes that have been a staple of the islands for hundreds of years like freshly made ahi tuna poke, steamed purple sweet potatoes, smoked bonito, haupia coconut pudding, and of course, poi, the uniquely flavored and textured center piece of any Hawaiian meal.
