Day Trips to Pearl Harbor

This tour was exactly what we were looking for...all details taken care of. All we had to do was get ourselves to the Kona Airprt. Our tour guide, Moana, met us at the airport in Honolulu and explained every step of the ... moreway...where and when to meet her for the next stop. All of the memorials were so special and we felt such gratitude to these soldiers who risked and gave their lives for us. The USS Missouri was especially impressive to us for its enormity and how she continues to serve our country as a representative of the great battleships that protected our country.

My Wife and I have visited Pearl Harbor in the past, but it was not as complete as this tour. Our Brother-in-Law had visited the other 49 states, and this completed his bucket list you might say. We all enjoyed it very m... moreuch, and as usual it was very moving. Thank you very much Veltra.

It was a little unclear as to where we would be met by the tour group. We flew in from Big Island and proceeded to baggage claim area outside where we saw a bunch of people waiting. This is where your bus will meet you. ... moreAfter that, we were met by Frank out driver and guide and he was great! We had plenty of time to see the following sites...USS Missouri, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum (we ate lunch here), Pearl Harbor Memorial. Now at the Pearl Harbor Memorial choose your time wisely. Me, my wife and 8 year old son went on the USS Bowfin, then over to our USS Arizona ferry. When we returned, saw the USS Arizona anchor, another USS Arizona memorial and Submarine Memorial. Overall an incredible day and a great learning experience for me and my family.

Air accommodations were taken care of for us. Flights were good but there was confusion as to when the flights left. Very emotional day. Lots to see. There were 14 in our group. It was difficult to understand when a... morend where we were meeting at different times throughout the day. It wasn't just us, many were confused. Hard to understand the guide. He was very nice. We were not able to see the Arizona Memorial up close because of the safety issue. No one's fault, we understood. We are glad we did take this trip.

Ed was our guide and he was very good. Trip was well organized. I would recommend this tour.

My husband and I recently took this tour. I was honestly not expecting it to be interesting to me--I went because my husband wanted to see it. The tour of Pearl Harbor, the Arizona and Missouri was awesome. Very emotiona... morel--it was impossible not to feel the enormity of the lives lost-it is hard to describe the feelings I felt--sorrow, awe, humbled by the great service to all of us in the US. They vow never to forget and to always treat the memories with dignity and honor, and that's just what they do. I highly recommend the tour.
The rest of the tour, which involved the flight to Oahu and a bus tour of downtown Honolulu was great. We had a great bus driver who was both funny and very knowledgeable--so thoroughly enjoyed his narration of the tour as he drove us around.
One time after we got off the bus for a stop, we got confused and lost our way back--and were very relieved he waited for us before continuing on.
All around great experience!
