Pick-up from Waikiki Hotels & Resorts
Prepare for a unique adventure as your expert local guide picks you up from Waikiki. You will then be driven to specially selected locations on Oahu, offering photographers the opportunity to capture some of the island's most stunning images. Get ready to explore and unleash your creativity!
Head towards the North Shore of Oahu, and stop off at Green World Coffee Farm to learn about how and why the islands of Hawaii have become some of the best places to produce coffee. You won't want to miss the opportunity of grabbing a cup of iced or hot coffee along the way for a great pick me up!
Once you arrive at Waimea Valley, enjoy incredible opportunities to take photos throughout the botanical garden, and at the end of the valley, take your time as you photograph the stunning 40-ft waterfall. You can even jump right in and relax in the cool and refreshing water of the natural pool.
Often referred to simply as "Pipeline," this North Shore beach is one of the most famous surf breaks in the world. Renowned for its powerful and challenging waves, it has become a top surf spot for many of the world's best surfers, and also the home of many surfing competitions during the winter.
There is something for everyone at the popular Kahuku food trucks. From the world-famous Giovanni's Shrimp Truck with its spicy & garlic shrimp that has been featured in tv shows and magazines, to island-style fresh poke and fruit smoothies, you will want to try a little bit of all that is offered.
As you continue along the east shore, make a stop at Kualoa Park where you can see the soaring Koolau Mountains that have been featured as the backdrop in a number of Hollywood movies and television shows. As you look towards the ocean, take in the beautiful views of Kualoa Park and Chinaman's Hat.
Built in 1968 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii, this serene and scenic location is based on an 11th century Japanese temple, and offers wonderful photo opportunities with its unique architecture, ponds with fish and ducks, and many statues and carvings.
Heading down south along the eastern shore, drive along and stop at a variety of locations along the Kaiwi Shoreline. From the natural wonder of the Halona Blowhole to the Makapuu Lookout, there will be a number of opportunities to take photos of Rabbit Island, and other iconic scenic nature spots.
