When exiting, slowly proceed to the parking exit gate arm and the arm will automatically open for you to exit. All vehicles must exit the parking lot by 8:30 p.m.

Q. Can I swim with dolphins on this tour?
A. No, Ocean Joy Cruises is a certified Dolphin Smart operator, meaning they adhere to strict guidelines for responsible viewing of dolphins. They do not interfere with dolphin's behavior in their natural habitat.
Q. Do I need to be able to swim to participate?
A. If you want to snorkel, some swimming ability is good for comfort and safety. However, many non-swimming participants in the past were happy to utilize their snorkeling vests to keep them buoyant. The crew is more than happy to assist beginners.
Q. Are you required to wear a life jacket?
A. No, life jackets are not required to be worn but they are available throughout the boat in case of emergency.
Q. Is there a safe place to store my belongings while on tour?
A. There are no lockers available so it is not recommended to bring any valuables aboard. Belongings can be kept on the bench seats and tables however they can get wet and no responsibility is taken for damage or loss.
Q. How far in advance should I book this activity?
A. We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. If you have very specific schedule requirements and are not flexible, please book sooner. Last minute availability is often possible, but limited.
Q. What type of boat is used?
A. The Kai 'Oli 'Oli is a custom-built 49 passenger, 61 foot power catamaran touring yacht with two 490 horsepower Diesel Caterpillar engines. It is one of Hawaii's newest, fastest, and most state-of-the-art custom catamarans in its class. It has the highest US Coast Guard safety rating for any boat in Hawaii and equipped with large bathroom/changing rooms, comfortable seating, four outdoor warm water showers, giant swim steps, and a modern audio and video system.

A. Lunch includes Hawaiian-style Teriyaki Chicken, Lettuce and Tomato, and Fresh Hawaiian Buns, White Rice, Potato-Macaroni Salad, and Fresh Fruit. Complimentary beverages include Soft Drinks, Beer, Wine, Bloody Mary, Blue Kai, Mai Tai's and Margaritas.

Restrictions
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
- If less than 6 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
- Children of all ages can participate in this activity.
- You will not be permitted to rebook or receive a refund should you miss the check-in time or boat departure. If you are driving, please secure your parking ahead of time and allow enough time to arrive in time for your check-in, 30 minutes prior to departure.
- You will not be permitted to rebook your tour or receive a refund within 48 hours of your check-in for any reason. This includes, but not limited to, missing your flight to Hawaii, being unable to enter Hawaii, illness or other health emergency, etc.
- This is not a dolphin swim. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration rule under the Marine Mammal Protection Act prohibits swimming with or getting within 50 yards of a spinner dolphin that is within two nautical miles of the shore of the main Hawaiian Islands.
Required items to bring & attire
- Swimsuit
- Sunscreen
- A valid government issued photo I.D. is required to consume any alcoholic beverages.
Other requirements
- Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the time of check-in.
- Minors are required to have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver.
Additional notes
- The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
- The menu is subject to change without notice.
- If you are driving on your own, you will be required to pay a parking fee.
- This is a barefoot tour and shoes will be stored dockside for your convenience.
- In the unlikely event that you do not see any dolphins on your tour, you will be invited to go out again on another snorkel cruise at a discounted rate of $25 per participant.
*Refunds are not available.
*Please note: There is a $25 meal fee to book the return cruise (for each participant).
*If transportation is needed, an additional $35 transportation fee applies.
