Standard (600 ft)

• Soar above the Hawaiian skies at 600 ft.
• Fly at a 400 ft. altitude
Flight duration is about 6 minutes

Higher Flyer (800 ft)

• Glide above the Hawaiian coastline at 800 ft.
• Fly at a 600 ft. altitude
• Flight duration is about 8 minutes

Local expert tips

• If you do not wish to Parasail but still want to watch your family and friends having fun, you can book the tour as an observer and enjoy the boat ride.
• Recommended attire: Swimwear or clothes that can get wet for the full water splash experience. Bring a towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes.
• In normal wind conditions the minimum weight is 50lbs per passenger and the maximum weight is 450lbs
• Please note that if you have mobility issues, this tour may not be the best for your situation as it requires boat to boat transfers.

How does it work?

Parasailing is a recreational activity where you are towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute-like canopy. The canopy provides lift and keeps you aloft, while the towline ensures you stay directly behind the boat. Upon landing, traditionally everyone takes a momentary dip in the tropical waters of Maunalua Bay just before landing. If you prefer to stay dry, ask our friendly boat staff and they will do their best.

H2O Sports can fly up to two people at a time. If you have an odd number in your party, the Captain will decide if someone in your group will go up twice (no extra charge) or if someone may fly solo or we may fly three people at a time.

Please note that you may fly with an unrelated party. The decision is up to the captain and is based on weight and weather conditions.

Your check-in takes place at Hawai’i Kai Shopping Center, located about 25-30 minutes from most Waikiki hotels. Free parking is available.
