How does it work?

The entire experience lasts about 2 hours, from pick-up to drop-off. You will start with approximately 30 minutes at the photo booth and enjoying the holiday sweets during check-in, followed by a 20-minute trolley ride from Waikiki to Honolulu Hale. Once at Honolulu Hale, guests will have approximately one hour to explore the Christmas exhibits before the trolley returns to Waikiki.

Expert local tips

• While children of all ages, including infants, are welcome to join, please be sure that small children remain seated with an adult at all times during the trolley ride.
• If possible, leave any strollers back at the hotel since space is limited space. Strollers may not be permitted on board depending on crowd size.
• Seats on the trolley are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to secure yours early! With the open-air design, every seat provides a great view of the holiday lights.
• For your convenience, restrooms are available at both the check-in location and Honolulu Hale. However, please note that restrooms at Honolulu Hale can get crowded, so we recommend using the facilities at the check-in location if possible.
• Food and drinks are available for purchase at Honolulu Hale, but please note that eating and drinking are not permitted on the trolley.>/li?

  How to get there?

  To reach the check-in location in Waikiki from most major hotels, start by heading towards Kalakaua Avenue, which runs parallel to the beach. Walk towards the intersection with Lewers Street, a short distance from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, and you will soon reach your destination. The walk should take approximately 5 to 15 minutes, depending on your starting point.
  
  Guests who are driving to the pick-up location can find paid parking at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center or other parking structures, but no parking validation will be provided.
  
  The check-in location is also easily accessible by public transportation, as well as taxi and rideshare services.
