• The Moana books up quickly, so don’t miss your chance! Book at least 2 weeks in advance, especially during the busy summer season.
• Looking for something to do before or after your cruise? Kewalo Basin Harbor is located near Ala Moana shopping center, which boasts a food court as well as wide selection of stores. Magic Island is also a great choice for a quieter beach near Waikiki.
• Kewalo Basin Harbor is located conveniently just outside of Waikiki and is accessible by public transit or by car, but the easiest transportation option is a rideshare or a cab.
• Best time of the year: During whale migration season, November–March, you can add whale watching to your list of activities at no additional charge.
• Recommend attire: Please wear something comfortable that you won’t mind getting splashed, especially if you will be enjoying the front lounging nets. Also, it can get a little chilly on the water, especially after the sun sets, so it is a good idea to bring a sweater or light jacket.
• Recommend items to bring: a waterproof case for your phone/camera is always a good idea. Also remember to bring a valid photo ID if you plan on enjoying alcoholic beverages at the bar.

How to get there?

Moana Sailing Company is located at Kewalo Basin Harbor, about 10-15 minutes away from most Waikiki hotels, and normally 50 minutes from Ko Olina. There is paid parking available at the harbor.

Once in the harbor, you will continue straight towards the ocean/Kewalo Beach Park till you arrive at D Dock which will be located towards the northern end of Kewalo Harbor. Do not park at Kewalo Basin Beach Park, and paid parking ($4.00 per hour. Rates are subject to change without notice) is available on the left-hand side as you enter the harbor.
