How does it work?

Check-in is 30 minutes before departure, and once you board the Manu Kai, you are welcome to get a drink from the open bar. Choose any of the 49 seats, or stretch out on the lounging nets near the bow (front), and feel free to walk around the catamaran while it is underway. Once you reach the perfect viewing spot for the fireworks, the captain will cut the engines so you can enjoy the show. Afterwards, the boat will sail back to Kewalo Basin Harbor and drop you off at the same dock at which you boarded.

• Kewalo Basin Harbor, where the boat departs from, is conveniently located just outside of Waikiki proper, which means it is easier to get to and may have more affordable parking. If you are planning on enjoying alcoholic drinks, rideshare and taxi services, as well as buses, are convenient.
• The Harbor is also located next to Ward Villages and Ala Moana Shopping Center, as well as Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island Lagoon, so there’s plenty to do in the area if you arrive extra early or stick around afterwards. You can also take the westbound E, 19, 20, 42, 56, 57, 60, or 65 bus from Waikiki to the Ala Moana Blvd and Kamakee St stop, then walk approximately five minutes to the check-in location. “Kewalo Basin Harbor” is also usually enough information to give a taxi driver or rideshare provider.
