With a maximum of six guest on board the Kohola, you will be quickly checked in and ready to depart in search of humpback whales along the Big Island's Waikoloa and Waimea coastline. The smooth cruising vessel will quickly take you to whale sighting locations, and just keep an eye out for whales!

When heading north on route 270, look for a green gate enclosing a port complex. Take the very first left into the green gate, following the sign for gate 1. Take an immediate left at the sign for gate 13. Follow the paved road over several speed bumps until the road ends at a gravel parking lot overlooking a dock. The Kohola will be the first boat on your left when you walk down the ramp. The vessel is based at the far end of the dock, at slip S-01, but will most often board from the loading area near the front of the boat ramp.

- Guests with neck, back or joint problems are not permitted to participate in this activity.
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
- If less than 2 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
- Children of all ages can participate in this activity.
- There is no storage on board the vessel, so guests are asked to limit the number of items they bring with them.

- Participants are required to sign a liability waiver at the time of check-in.
- Minors are required to have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver.
