What is the difference between the packages?
The Aloha Kai Luau Luau offers three different luau packages, and they all include a lei greeting, buffet dinner, Hawaiian cultural activities, and an evening luau show.
- Bronze Package: Includes general seating in the rear section of the luau, a shell lei greeting, and one drink ticket to use at the Tiki Bar.
- Silver Package: Includes center and middle-side seating during the luau, a flower lei greeting, two drink tickets to use at the Tiki Bar, and a 5-day pass for Sea Life Park admission.
- Gold Package: Includes front and center seating during the luau, a flower lei greeting, welcome Mai Tai or pineapple juice, two drink tickets to use at the Tiki Bar, priority access to the buffet line, one souvenir photograph, and a 10-day pass for Sea Life Park admission.
Pre-Show Activities
Aloha Kai Luau is proud to perpetuate the culture and history of Hawaii, and guests are invited to participate in many different pre-luau activities. It is highly recommended that you walk around to the various stations, and take part in various Hawaiian and Polynesian cultural demonstrations.It should be noted that these activities are all subject to change and availability depending on the availability of the practitioners.

Local expert tips
- This luau can book up quickly, so we highly suggest booking Oahu luau tickets at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like summer and spring break.
- For guests in large groups, it should be noted that tables can seat up to six guests, and groups with more than six participants will be seated at separate tables next to each other.
- For guests booking the Silver or Gold package, choose the early pick-up time or arrive before 2:00PM to visit and explore Sea Life Park before the luau begins. This will give you ample time to see the turtles, seals, sharks, and more!
- With a fully wheelchair accessible location, the Aloha Kai Luau is a wonderful choice for guests with mobility issues. While there are areas that are covered in grass, you will be able to easily navigate the luau grounds in both a wheelchair or a scooter. Luau employees will also be available to offer assistance if needed as well.
- Bring cash or a credit card to purchase premium frozen drinks or souvenirs from the gift shop.
- Recommended attire: While there is no dress code at the Sea Life Park luau, resort casual or Aloha wear, with a light jacket or sweater is recommended. Flat shoes are a better option than high heeled shoes since the grounds are uneven with grass.
How to get there?
The Aloha Kai Luau is located at Sea Life Park Hawaii on the far east side of Oahu, and is readily accessible for guests staying across the island with optional round-trip transportation available from Waikiki hotels.For guests staying in Waikiki, the luau is anywhere from a 30 to 45 minute drive. From the Ko Olina resort area, it will take approximately one hour, and around one hour and 15 minutes or more for guests staying on the North Shore. Ample parking is available for a nominal fee.
Although public transportation is available on Oahu, bus service from Sea Life Park will not be operating after 7:30PM. Rideshare and taxis are also not reliable in this area in the evening since it is quite remote. Guests who are not planning on renting a car should book the packages that include transportation.

Q. What happens if it rains?
A. We know many people have limited time here in Hawaii to experience a Luau. For this reason, the Luau runs in rain or shine. Our reservations department will contact you if there is a cancellation due to the weather.
Q. Can I use my admission to Sea Life Park before or after my luau?
A. For the Silver package, you can use your included admission to Sea Life Park between 5 days before or after your Luau date. For the Gold & VIP packages, you can use your included admission to Sea Life Park between 10 days before or after your Luau date. Your admission tickets to Sea Life Park will be included with your Luau confirmation email. Admission is non-transferable and must match the name on your reservation.
Q. Can I sit with someone in a separate reservation?
A. You can enter the last names of any parties or separate reservations that you are joining at the Luau if you would like to be seated together. If you have already made your reservation and need to add this request, please email us at support@veltra.com.
