1) If you don't want to deal with packing a lunch we can eat at the lodge in Kōkeʻe State Park - it's up the hill near where we will be hiking and features great food & "mountain lodge ambiance". Your guide can time it so you stop there between hikes/overlook stops.
2) Ask your guide to make a quick stop at a local supermarket along the way (for you to pick something up), or pack a lunch before your tour. - 3) Order breakfast and/or lunch items to go from the local Midnight Bear Breads in Hanapepe (3830 Hanapepe Rd., Hanapepe, HI 96716 (just down the street from our meeting location, unless you are staying on the West Side) - they are open 8 am - 3 pm Mon, Weds and Sat, and from 9 am - 3 pm Thu. Check their website to order online in advance or call 808-335-2893 (they recommend ordering the night before to ensure availability of baked goods. No fresh bread available on Thursdays).
