You can drive to the overlook at Kamaee Falls and access the paved paths at the Rainbow Walk and Rainforest Trail. The Arboretum and Maze are easy to reach from the Rainbow Walk. For those who enjoy walking, there are more trails to explore on the Rainforest Trail extension and Hanapueo Stream Trail

Explore a vibrant display of tropical trees, shrubs, and perennial plants, including a unique cactus garden. Discover diverse orchids, blooming anthuriums, azaleas, bougainvillea, bromeliads, gingers, heliconias, hibiscus, and other stunning tropical flowers, ferns, and greenery.

A stunning area bordered by towering Norfolk Island pines, Royal Palms, and the Hanapueo Stream. Spanning several acres, it features a variety of trees producing flowers, fruits, and nuts, including bananas, lychee, macadamia, jackfruit, papaya, breadfruit, cashew, cinnamon, and more.

Explore the world’s second-largest permanently planted maze, spanning an area bigger than a football field. Made of thousands of mock orange bushes, it offers a challenging adventure with countless false turns and one true path, perfect for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

The Rainforest Trail begins with a wide paved, accessible path before winding along the lush Hanapueo Stream. Surrounded by tall trees, wild bananas, heliconias, and tropical plants, the trail passes Kawailani Springs, where a secondary stream joins, creating a serene, vibrant rainforest setting.

Kamae’e Falls showcases Hawaii’s natural beauty with its nearly 100-foot cascade down a fern-covered rock cliff into a crystal-clear pool. From the overlook, watch the stream wind through sunlit pools and smaller waterfalls, surrounded by lush native vegetation, creating a serene, picturesque scene.
