Na Pali Coast Explorer Ocean Rafting Snorkel Tour (from Kikiaola Harbor)
for experienced paddlers

I had only paddled on flat water & this trip was just too much for me & my husband. The guides were great, lunch was great & the beaches were lovely but paddling that far was too much for us & a few other couples. It was a real grind getting to the 2nd beach & we had a hard time keeping up even with breaks. If you are an experienced paddler you will probably have a great time but I don't recommend for beginners!

This is an experience you can't miss! The crew makes sure you get the most amazing adventure possible! We saw several sea turtles and dozens of spinner dolphins. The best time of my life was snorkeling with this crew under the amazing waters off the coast of Oahu!

I attended this with my husband and son. They are both strong swimmers, but I am not. I've never snorkeled before, and this is not where I should have tried it for the first time. I had a life jacket on, so I knew I was safe, but the water was very deep, and the water had 4-6 foot swells. We had to swim against the current to get to the turtles. The waves were too much for me, I got tired quickly, I was uncomfortable with it being so deep, and the waves so high, so I got back in the boat. My husband and son enjoyed it though, and got up close to the turtles. At one point some spinner dolphins approached the group, but because everyone is looking down, only a few of the swimmers saw them. The leader stayed with the group, and I felt the staff were excellent. After the snorkeling they put up the sail and we took off past Diamond Head, looking for whales. We didnt see any, but we spotted some bottle nose dolphins in the distance. And the ride was fun. The lunch was very basic

Our family of 4 enjoyed this trip so much! We had a bit of trouble finding the boat (not the marina) due to construction and limited parking, but once we walked on board, it was fun and relaxing. The people are terrific and you can tell they love their jobs being on that boat-very friendly and entertaining. Breakfast muffins, bagels, fruit and coffee were available as the boat took us out to Molokini (about 30 mins.) and an enormous whale leaped right in front of the boat! There were many more to be seen that day but it want an exciting start. Molokini was not overrated! Underwater Discovery Channel complete with tons of colorful fish, strange anemones and even a purple jelly fish. It was so beautiful against the wall of the crater. I swam back to the boat quickly to buy the $25, reusable underwater camera because it was so magical. The pix came out great! My 7 year old was nervous at first b/c she'd never snorkled, but the crew worked with her 1-on-1, made her laugh, gave her a noodle

Kailua Beach Experience with Lunch - Snorkel, Bike & Beach Gear

My time at Kailua beach was probably the biggest highlight of my whole time in hawaii! It was beautiful and you are well away from the crowds that crowd the beach Waikiki. I chose snorkelling as my option and was not disappointed, the staff where you get your equipment from are so friendly and knowledgable, I was directed to the best part of the beach for snorkelling. I even swam out 1/2 a mile to the little island!! Which was good fun, easy enough swim, any average swimmer could do it. So beautiful and the water was so clear!

Four Winds Molokini Snorkel Tour - Premier Cruise with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks
WOW! So much FUN!

My husband and I recently went on the afternoon snorkeling cruise on the Four Winds and it was fantastic! The price was spot on and we felt it was the best value for our money of any activity we did. The cruise was very safe and very fun too. We went during January and we got the added perk of seeing the humpback whales. It was such a great added bonus that we didn't have to take a whale watching cruise in addition. The crew was so friendly and embraced the laid back Hawaiian attitude. The Captain was very knowledgeable about the whales and gave us lots of information while we were watching them. The wet suit add on (for $5) was also a good thing to get as it helped me not to be quite so cold in the water. The optional lunch for $7 was also a decent quality as you could choose from chicken, burgers, hot dogs, or bar-b-que as well as chips. The complementary sodas, beer and wine were also pretty nice. WOW! From the moment we arrived at the pier (we drove as we had a toddler with us) Jenner was playful and set a great mood. Everyone was excited for a day on the water, even though the weather didn't look too great. The Sandbar was fantastic, it's a unique experience being in the middle of the ocean, walking around. My husband had NEVER snorkeled before and found it hard to put the experience into words; he saw fish he'd only ever seen in documentaries and he was fascinated by the colours and the way they would swim around him... he's now officially addicted. Lunch was really good; well organised, quick and tasty. Our little one kinda freaked out on the boat and the staff were great with cheering him up. Jenner played his guitar while we ate and I've never felt more relaxed and like I was "in Hawaii". There are not enough superlatives to describe this experience. For a landlubber from eastern Canada this is an adventure that will not likely be repeated. The staff at Sea Paradise are friendly, proffessional and extremely knowledgable. I would not hesitate to book with them again. Can't wait for my DVD to arrive so I can relive it all over again.

This was my son's first snuba experience and he loved it. He's 9 and didn't have any trouble. The guide, Jamie, was awesome.
The crew, especially Captain John, was also great. We even spotted some whale during the excursion.

For the first snorkel outting of our trip, this was a great way to get the ball rolling. Other than the long drive to get to the boat launch everything was smooth sailing. The crew was great and fun to travel with and were very knowledgable on the sites we visited. The trip to the sand bar was a treat. Only regret is we would love to have stayed at the reef longer.

Ko Olina Snorkeling Cruise & Dolphin Watching Tour with Picnic Lunch and Drinks

This was an excellent half-day experience. We went out on a large, spacious catamaran with a crew of 4, and in the course of 2 guided snorkling drops we had multiple sightings of dolphin, saw a giant turtle moving along the sea floor and another (or possibly the same one) pausing to breathe at the surface, and encountered countless colorful (and near-fearless) fish. We saw coral, too, with coral arches (our guide dived down and swam under one) and a "coral garden" area.
After the second dive we were given hot BBQ sandwiches and mixed fruit, with a choice of chicken or pork sandwhiches. There was plenty of room for everyone to find a spot in the sun (when it shone), and cabin shelter when we felt chilly.
The crew were friendly, safety-conscious, and proactive in large and small ways. Everyone was encouraged to wear a lifejacket for the first snorkel drop, and there were 2 crew members in the water with us, one as a guide and one to stay with the first-timers (he brought a surfboar

Amazing experience!

This was a great day with everything going smoothly, there was nothing negative about the day! First we saw the sea turtles at the feeding station, then we had to gun the boat all the way up to north shore to view the dolphins and lastly we went to the power plant to see the fish in the reefs there. The only bad thing about this trip was NOT the tour's fault - First I got seasick, but the skipper and first mate had some lavender stuff that seemed to help and the dolphins were being pushed away by about 10 different groups of boats, also people were to busy splashing in the water instead of just floating there like we were told.
The advice about fish food is spot on from the previous post, just follow the other people who bought it.
The wet suit didn't look like it was worth it - everyone froze whether they were wearing a swimsuit or a wetsuit.
Transportation was easy and hassel-free.

Great Time Snorkeling

My family had a great time snorkeling. This was the first time for all of us and being a person who does not swim, afraid of deep water I had a blast. The instructor was very qualified and helped me overcome my fears and helped me to have a great time. Our family was the only group on this tour which was great because of the individualized help.
We saw alot of different fish, coral and sealife and even came up close to many green sea turtles, they were so amazing. I would recommend this tour to everyone, even those who do not swim.

We just took this trip last week and had a great time. This was our first time snorkeling and the staff was so helpful in getting our gear ready and giving us pointers on what to do to make the most of our snorkeling adventure. We biked from Kailua to Lanikai and did a little snorkeling and then back to Kailua for a little R&R on the beach.Kailua was one of the best beaches we went to, great water and sand.... wish we did the kayaks but I guess it's best to reserve something for next time!

WOW is all I can say. Took the kids and the wife to this tour, and we are from a landlocked state, so all kinds of any sea critters are new to us...but nothing, and I mean nothing could have beat getting an eyeful of the mantas gliding all around so close up. The kids went wild for it, and even my wife wasn't scared a bit. Overall it was truly a great experience, and one I would tell others to for sure try out. Families will love it and I even saw some single people just out enjoying the trip as well. Its really for everyone

We have been on three or four other snorkel trips in Hawaii and this is by the far the best. The ship is in excellent condition, and the skipper and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. They made it a wonderful time for all on board! They even stopped during their regular trip to show us spinner dolphins (twice) and an early season whale.

Thoroughly worth it!

This was a great day out, everything went smoothly and there was nothing negative about the day! First we went and saw the green sea turtles, then went to the a reef to see the fish (also saw turtles there). Lastly we went to see the dolphins. The only bad thing about this trip was NOT the tour's fault - the poor dolphins were being harrassed by about 10 different groups at once and they were clearly stressed.
Lunch was better than expected and filling.
Don't bother getting fish food - just follow other people who bought it (plus the tour people have some that they chucked in anyway). The snorkel equipment was way above average - well taken care of!
The wet suit didn't look worth it - everyone froze whether they were wearing a bikini or a wetsuit so definitely take a weather-proof jacket that you don't mind getting wet!
Transportation was easy and hassel-free.
