Worst part was getting up for a 5:50am shuttle pick-up. But it was well worth it. Our shuttle was full and there were more instructions at the top of the Bay, where gear rental was distributed and we were placed into manageable groups for the ticket office. This was an outstanding luau. I had read some reviews complaining that drive there goes through a industrial area. Who cares!? Once you arrive you are in a secluded, gorgeous property on the ocean. The food and entertainment was outstanding. I went back for seconds on the pig, which they actually roast in the ground the traditional way. This was a fabulous tour. Johnny and Keely were great guides. This was a ton of fun, but be warned, you will get dirty and quite possibly a little wet. Highly recommend this activity.

Whenever I'm planning to join a tour, I always wonder if it'll be fun for the kids too. Even though it's a bit pricier, choosing the Friday luau in the courtyard by the lagoon was a great choice! Even if the kids got a bit bored halfway through, they could play on the grass for a bit. And the best part was it was free for kids under 4, which was super awesome!
