Maui Submarine Tour by Atlantis Adventures - Temporarily Not Available

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2009/01/26This was a very family-oriented activity. Of course, the kids loved the submarine. Being from Iowa, we don't get to see much marine life, so it was exciting to see them underwater in the wild. We will do this again when we come back to Maui someday. Mahalo!

First Timers to Snorkelling

The the captain along with the crew were fabulous. The day started off with a continental breakfast which was great. For lunch we were served the choice of chicken breasts, hamburgers or hot dogs along with both adult and children beverages.
Instructions provided for snorkeling were great. As a first timer they provided enough information about what to expect for the first time. They were right on the dime about what you would experience. By the end of snorkeling I was comfortable enough to go without the flotation device.
We are so looking forward to the next time and will definitely try snuba. Mahalo....

Reviewed by: usd82, 2008/11/27We had a good time at the crater. We were a little bummed because we didn't get to see the sunrise but it is unpredictable and we understand that. It was still a great experience and we did get to see some sun rising behind the clouds.
If we make it back to Maui we would definitely try it again in hopes to see the sunrise the second time!

Maui Adventure Lanai Snorkel & Dolphin Watch Ocean Raft Tour with Lunch

Lanai is so beautiful with lots of reef fishes and the bluest water I have ever seen. Oh and we also saw some whales, the second time. Everyone on the crew is super awesome and really took care of us. Will be seeing you guys again ... hopefully sooner than later. lol.

Molokini Crater & Turtle Arches Snorkeling Tour & Snuba Dive - Aqua Adventures
a very good time
Reviewed by: alsbrat, 2008/11/20My husband and I went snuba diving on the Aqua Adventure and loved it. The boat was smaller then some and held less people, which gave the passangers more individual attention from the crew. We had both a breakfast and lunch buffet aboard ship.The instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth the money. Reccomended for all.

2-Hour Horseback Riding Tour at Circle M Ranch - Mountain Trail with Ocean Views

Everyone at the RANCH, especially, FRENCHY, our Tour guide was friendly, fun and informative on the ride about ALL the Beauty of the Island & Mendes Ranch History. They were giving of their time to the ones that were a little less experienced in riding & took pictures of everyone in differnet areas of the ride to make sure we ALL caputured great memories on film. We had the opportunity to gallop if we chose throughout the ride as well. The Horses are well cared for & are Beautiful. We had "Bailey" & "Cowboy" and Frenchy had Beautiful "Shotgun". I would definetly go back next trip to MAUI.

Deluxe Molokini & Turtle Snorkel Tour with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks - Trilogy
Trilogy Excursions are great!
Reviewed by: Rick, 2008/10/23Trilogy has been in the boat excursion business longer than anyone here; and we can see why they are still at it. We came here to Maui in October 2008 and before in August 2004.
Their staff is well trained; they know what they are doing and where to go; and they are very helpful towards beginners and advanced folks alike.
This was my first time snorkeling and the staff really helped train me well so that I became confident very quickly. I was once a good swimmer but a major health crises kept me out of the water for quite a while and I was rusty. Ryan was helpful in reminding me of how to get back into swimming and then snorkelling became very easy.
The skipper had a great sense of humor and we will definitely use Trilogy again when we come back to Maui, using them for several different excursions.
When you are in Maui; check them out!

Reviewed by: Val, 2008/10/11This was great. Food was great and the whole productive was very professional. They even had the performers meet at back for pictures you were so inclined. I did notice they did take some pictures before going - unsure how that was because it seemed to be for another tour group/company. Of course, you paid for these separately. I didn't inquire what the requirement for the pictures was - but perhaps if you notice such, may be you will. Many people were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. It was a nice time and the music seemed to be continual even while you ate. A nice way to end a stay in Hawaii and it ended in good time so that you weren't up all night packing for the next day's start of the return to the mainland.

2-Hour Horseback Riding Tour at Circle M Ranch - Mountain Trail with Ocean Views

This was my third time riding in 20 years and I went as a beginner and did well. I was concerned that I was a pre-pre-pre beginner. Yet I survived and have 3 nice pictures and some good memories of the trail. We had 2 tour guides and my regret is that I wished I'd given more beside $10 for a tip since they were watching my back so to speak :)

Charles, our tour guide, showed us around the island, while filling us in on the political and natural history of the area. It seemed to us that this was a wonderful way for first time visitors like us to get an overview of Maui.
Things we especially liked about this tour: being picked up at our hotel promptly at 7am, as advertised; the view from the top of Haleakala; the opportunity to see rare plants and birds on the mountain, such as silversword plants in bloom, and the unique Hawaiian Geese (Nene); our guide's amazing knowledge of the places we saw and their history; the wonderful lunch at Casanova's in Makawao; the beautiful scenery around the park at the Io Needle.
The opportunity to take this tour with a knowledgable guide and driver was wonderful. It permitted us to concentrate on the scenery, rather than worrying about driving on unfamiliar roads and trying to read a map and sightsee at the same t

Goofy Foot Maui Surf School Group & Private Surfing Lessons at Ukumehame Beach
What a blast!

Our guide, Griff, did an excellent job with instructing us on proper Kayaking and snorkeling technique. He was very knowlegeable about marine biology and gave us a unique lesson on Hawaiian history and culture. A well rounded, fun trip!

Reviewed by: BoiseNP, 2008/08/18My husband, 7 year old daughter and I attended the Trilogy Snorkel Cruise - Maui Discover Ka'anapali on Tuesday Aug 12th 2008.
We have both been snorkelers/divers since college in the early 90's, and were very happy with the tour.
The staff was professional, friendly, and full of history and knowledge of the area. The food was amazing, better than many of the restaurants on the island!
The first stop was incredible, lots of fish, coral and turtles. Our second stop was just around the corner but we were greeted by a pod of ~100 dolphins as we anchored. Lucky for us they stayed nearby and allowed us to swim toward them. Then amazingly they surrounded us and wild dolphins were everywhere, below us, to the sides, in front and behind. Swimming, jumping, and diving within an arms reach! This was truely a once in a lifetime experience and I am thankful to Trilogy for their care towards the environment and sincere connection with the sea.
