Nice scenery
Reviewed by: Jesper, 2015/02/09The scenery along Road to Hana is nice, it's an impressive ride. We got to stop where possible, and the driver tried to add some little spots here and there for quick extra photo opportunities.
I was most impressed with the final part of the road that nobody seems to mentions: the part after the Seven Pools which goes through the barren drier south side of the Haleakala. I liked this scenery a lot!
Be aware: if you want to stay on a budget: lunch is very expensive at the chosen restaurant. I brought my own lunch, which turned out to be the right choice.

Skyline Eco-Adventure - Kaanapali Zipline Adventure with Expert Local Guides

Reviewed by: KimberlyElFaye, 2015/02/03This was by FAR our best experience on Maui. We booked last minute and Skyline Eco accommodated us. The employees are extremely welcoming and warm. I noticed many older people felt a bit uncomfortable jumping from the zipline and Anthony really helped calm them. I felt like I was in great company too! We really lucked out and got a great group as well. The guys also showed us some of the plants along the trail. I was so excited when they pointed out fresh guava fruit! We honestly had such a great experience and left with huge grins on our faces. If you have limited time and a limited budget, choose these guys. You won't be disappointed!

Fun Activity!

Let me tell you, it was really fun! Not only did we get to snorkel and relax on the boat, but we also got to whale watch. The food is okay, but you're going for the actual snorkeling! We saw many sea animals and had a great time. You can tell the people running the operation really love their jobs. They sincerely care about the passengers on board. One woman in particular was extremely inviting and personally approached me just to talk. Wonderful day!

More than Amazing

unfortunately, Saudi Arabia is far far away from Maui and repeating the fantastic experience is somehow not easy. I strongly recommend people of all ages, all backgrounds to try the submarine. I posted all photos on my instagram and followes are so surprized that they think it was unreal !!!

早起きして海へ出よう！

今回、朝7:00にラハイナハーバー集合という早朝プランに参加しました。
この時間帯のツアーは英語のみのガイドという事で、乗客は私たち以外全て外国の方でした。
ガイドさんの解説は、私にリスニング力がなくきちんと聞き取れてはいませんでしたが…
それでも、船上から眺める事のできる日の出はとても美しく、
クジラのジャンプもあちらこちらで見る事ができ、爽快で充実した時間を過ごす事ができました。
早起きは三文の得。この早朝プランはお値段もリーズナブルなので、個人的にはとてもお勧めです！
またマウイ島に行く際には、是非参加したいツアーです。
※集合時間丁度に到着したラハイナクルーズカンパニーブースは、既に多くの人だかりでした。迷う事無く探しやすい場所です。
※クルーズ船内では、コーヒーや軽食も販売されていて、お腹が空いていても安心です。

クジラ！

いたるところにクジラがいて、どのクジラを近くで見ようかな？といった具合でした。
スケジュール進行もばっちり時間通りでした。
私たちの選んだコースは１２時発だったのですが、クジラを見る際、どうしても船の外にいる時間が長く日差しがきつかったので、午前に終われるコースがお勧めです。
これから２月中旬にかけて、もっとクジラがやってくるみたいです。
日本人ガイドのタカさんは、とても親切で色々な事を教えていただけました。

入口の掲示には事前購入者の優先入場レーンがありましたが機能しておらず、むしろリスト照合で時間がかかるので、事前購入するメリットはないと思います。

早朝プランでよかった。
Reviewed by: ほーさん, 2015/01/18 出航してすぐ、街の近くでも複数のクジラに会えましたが、結構遠くまで足を延ばしてくれ、充実した２時間でした。
早朝プランにしたおかげで、料金が安いだけでなく、綺麗な日の出も楽しめ、船内が空いているのでクジラの出る方向に合わせて前後左右へ移動できたのも良かったです。また、船着き場近くのPublic Parkingにも簡単に停められました。

Maui Haleakala Helicopter Tour with Road to Hana Sightseeing & Beachside Lunch
Great Tour for Families and Couples

Beautiful scenery, articulate tour guide named Sue, delicious and filling light lunch, and the helicopter ride was unsurprisingly a treat (lasted around 20-30 min). See my photos of both the Road to Hana van ride and helicopter ride for reference. The best is going into the sky on a partially overcast day, because the pilot will take you cloud-surfing.
The whole tour lasted around four hours.

Pride of Maui Luau Sunset Dinner Cruise with Open Bar & Polynesian Show
Amazing Experience
Reviewed by: adhermes, 2015/01/16I spent a few hours researching activities to do during our honeymoon to Maui. We decided that due to the exorbitant cost of drinks in any resort or restaurant we decided that an open bar cruise was going to be a great and cost effective experience.
I wasn't disappointed! The cruise was absolutely awesome. We saw at least 25 whales throughout the course of the evening which was fantastic.
The drinks were top notch as well. They had a huge number different top shelf liquors and made great drinks all night.
The crew was fantastic. They went over the top to take care of everybody's needs and made sure everyone was having a great time. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone that wants to see gorgeous views, enjoy great drinks, and have an awesome crew.

wonderful post-engagement celebration!

The boat left a little later than posted, closer to 5:15, but it was good that they told us to arrive at 4:45 so we were not late, and others didnt slow us down. The crew welcomed us, gave us a run down on emergency procedures and rules, and we set sail! It was gorgeous out on the water. Jason, our captain, kept everyone informed and excited about the whales around us. We really appreciated that. They gave us a shout out over the PA for our engagement, and everyone toasted to our happiness. The crew, bartenders, captain and staff all made us feel special. The food was delicious, especially the shrimp and the artichoke dip. Full open bar (no champagne, but great wine and booze selection) and cheese platters, fruit, dessert. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Reviewed by: TMS, 2015/01/06Aloha, we (my boyfriend and I) are residents of Maui and attended the pride of Maui dinner/cocktail cruise for my pre birthday celebration this past Saturday. It was quite enjoyable despite the larger swells as we headed out along the coast. The food was fantastic, the crew was friendly and the bar was all you can drink so we were content. We enjoyed the experience for the deal that we were able to receive but I beleive if we had to pay full price we wouldn't have enjoyed it as much and would hope to expect more out of the experience. No one can help the weather or the ocean conditions but it felt like we were on a snorkeling boat standing up or sitting with no table eating dinner so it was a little steep in my opinion.

Haleakala National Park Sunset Tour Experience - Polynesian Adventure
No sunset
Reviewed by: Henrik, 2015/01/05Expectations where high when we set out for this sunset tour 30th of december 2014 but there were no sunset to be found. A cold front passed Maui this evening and we were sitting in the bus at the top of mount Haleakala for 50 min just watching rain and wind passing by in cold , cold weather.
The guide did a fine job trying to fill out for the missing sunset but was up against uneven odds.
So be aware of the weather conditions since this can reduce the value and outcome considerately.
We were very surprised that the operator didn't cancelled the tour or at least warned us about the conditions so we could have a choice to participate or not.
The dinner was fine but surprisingly enough we didn't have much time to enjoy it so we was in a bit of a hurry to get finished in time

Reviewed by: Mickey, 2015/01/04最初にチケット売り場へ行くと、違う時間しかないとのことで、再度その時間に行ったところ、中で使えるクーポンをタダでもらえ船の中でチケットとポテトチップスなどと交換できた。クジラは、１度みえると次々と見え出し感動したが、もっとも残念だったのは、よく写真にあるような垂直に飛び上がる場面が突然出くわしたものの、みんなそろそろ飽きてきたころなので、カメラを構えていなかったことです。なにごともあきらめずカメラをずっと構えている心がけが必要と痛感しました。

綺麗なマウイの風景を満喫

英語ガイドのみですが、ネイティブの方と一緒では無かったせいか、ある程度意思疎通を図りながらガイドして頂けました。
自分からここで何をしたいとか、はっきり意思表示をしないと、少し満足度がさがるかも知れません。
ハワイのツアーではよくあることですが、車内の冷房が強烈に効いているので、防寒具は持っていった方が良いです。ガイドの方にお願いしたら暖かくして頂けましたが。

Great way to start Hawaii Vacation

They started us with relatively short distance and not so fast zipline. With every line, distance and speed kept increasing. Every line offered views of both mountains and ocean. Both of our guides Johnny and Loki were great when it came to making it a safe and fun experience. Drive up to the of the hill was pretty bumpy but fun due to stories of Uncle George. They provided us with reusable water bottle and start and pretty awesome snacks in the middle. Overall it was a pretty fun activity. I do recommend it for first timers, May not be extreme enough for repeaters.

Skyline Eco-Adventure - Kaanapali Zipline Adventure with Expert Local Guides
Great Experience! Highly recommended

We were picked up by a van at the checkin point ant driven up the mountain. The trip is a bit rough since the road were unpaved. We stopped at a station in between to get geared up, and then the fun started.
Our tour guides were AWESOME. They were so funny and knowledgeable, making the entire trip so entertaining. I was a bit nervous at the beginning. But after the first line, I can't wait to go again.
The view was great from the mountain too. Definitely a wonderful experience worths every penny, highly recommended.

This was a good activity that I am glad I did. But I won't say that I would do it twice. I don't think I would do any zipline twice, unless it's been a very long time.
The stuff was extremely nice to us. They were extremely careful, letting us know about all the risks and how to avoid them. They were catching every single person in the end of each zipline so that no one got hurt. Also, they were telling us stories about hawaiian culture and hawaiian island after each zipline.
Stuff had a great sense of humor as well. Lots of appropriate jokes were made :)
Last, but not least, Everything was organized in a timely manner as well.

Fun!
Reviewed by: Ivonne, 2014/12/15My husband and I had a lot of fun. The guys were really amusing and very patient in trying to teach me to do the canon ball on the last zipline.
We were picked up at the Eco shop and shuttled to the actual Zipline "ranch". They provided all the items that we needed including the water bottle, which they let us take as a gift. They cracked jokes and did some really cool stunts on the the lines we could never get confidence enough to do. They tried to bring even my husband and I into the jokes even though we can take a bit to warm up. They provided breaks and and an amazing view to catch a breather. You even get snacks and a drink at the end when looking at your pictures they snap of you. Thank you Levi you were awesome
but you know that!

A must-do on Maui: Kaanapali Zipline Adventure

We booked the 8 Line Zip Tour which took all in all about 4 hours. At „half time“ there was organized a little break at an wonderful lookout where you had the chance to take some snacks and drinks.
It was our very first time we did ziplining and we really enjoyed it. Not only the adventure itself but also the wonderful view on Kaanapali coast is worth it. Don‘t worry about little fear of heights, because the guides will take it away with their joking manner. We were surprised positively that ziplining is popular with all age groups. The group we joined in was mixed up and we all had pretty much fun doing the Kaanapali Zipline Adventure. Therefore we would absolutely recommend it to everybody - no matter if you do it with friends, your family or as a couple.
The online-booking via Veltra was uncomplicated and the procedure on site was smoothly.
Thumbs up for the great organization and the whole ziplining team - you must not miss this adventure!

It was beautiful watching the sun rise as someone sang a native song. Our tour guide was amazing always had some new fact or funny story to say. He had us laughing quite a bit. Especially his jokes that would catch us off guard through the drive. "Men are from Mars women are from Visa" still makes me giggle. Now my husband is telling that to everyone! The breakfast was good at a local golf course. I'd go again only for our driver I think he was the best part of the entire tour. He was worth every penny. A great tour guide makes all the difference. Thank you!
