あまりに値段が高いのでは？
等と悩みもしましたが、ファーストクラスを選んで大正解でした。
どうせ乗るなら、絶対絶対ファーストクラスでカウアイの自然をお楽しみ下さい！
ヘリに乗って景色を見ている…というよりは、
まるで自身が風になった気分を存分に味わえます。
パイロットさんは、素敵な声で丁寧かつ名調子ガイドしてくれます。
但し…英語が苦手な私には、残念ながら20％位しか分かりませんでした。
実は翻訳ソフトで同時通訳する予定でしたが、
スマホ画面を見るのがもったいなくて、ひた景色を眺めていました。
カウアイは3回目で昨年行ったばかりでしたが、
ヘリツアーのおかげでガーデンアイランドがさらに好きになりました♡

絶好的な景色圧巻！！
Reviewed by: KEIKO ちな, 2018/10/02申し込みもぎりぎり、集合場所に到着もぎりぎり。しかし 係の人の丁寧な対応にほっとしました。何分ここは外国。レンタカーで乗り付け 心臓バクバク。乗船後も係の人が波でぬれるから、とか ランチはこれらを自由にと 親切に説明してくれました。乗船の方々もオーストラリアとかニュージーランド等々ほんとハワイの方以外の人が多くて親切でしたよ。勿論船は風を浴びて素敵な景色を満喫。良かった。勿論イルカも亀も見ることが出来幸せ感いっぱい。

絶景
Reviewed by: 写真はエーと言って取りましょう, 2018/10/011年前に夫婦でカウアイ島に泊まりましたが、怖くてヘリコプターには乗らずに帰りました。それが心残りで、今回は夫婦でトライしました。今回はオアフに宿泊で、このためにチケットを取り、空港でピックアップをお願いし、英語しか通じないツアー参加でした。初めてのヘリコプターで私は恐る恐る。家内は何かにとりつかれたように感動しまくっていました。これはただのヘリツアーではありません。渓谷や陸路ではたどり着かないところまで、そして滝の流れるすぐ近くまで、止まったり方向を変えてみたり。まあなかなか経験のできないことを一度に経験できました。日帰りで少し高くつきましたが、ほんと行って良かった。

Awesome time for anyone!
Reviewed by: Melizzle, 2018/09/30We had so much fun tubing in Kauai! Our leader Jasper was hilarious and so informative. We learned a lot about the island that we never knew. Bring your cameras! We didn’t know that there would be a safe dry spot so we left ours behind and boy do we regret it. The lookout is breathtaking. So worth it. Anyone can do this activity. I wished I would have brought my 5 year old because I think she would have loved it too!

大迫力の大感動！

絶景に感動しました！！1人で参加し、運良く前の席に乗りました。
ナパリコーストやワイメア渓谷はもちろんですが、この島全部が美しかったです。
音楽もかけてくれて、ワクワクを助長します。
迷っているなら、参加した方がいいです！
服は黒い服をお勧めします。隣の方が青い服を着ていて、窓に反射して綺麗に撮影できませんでした。
また、酔いのことを書かれている方もいるようですが、全く大丈夫です。日本の山道を車で走る方が、よっぽど酔います。

ナ・パリ・コースト セーリング シュノーケリング付き＜朝食・ビュッフェ昼食付き／英語ガイド＞
スタッフのホスピタリティと絶景が素晴らしい
Reviewed by: namica, 2018/09/17すべて英語のインストラクションですが、英語ができなくてもぜひ参加してほしいアクティビティです。英語が分からないなりに十分楽しめますし、クルーの人たちがこまめに気遣ってくれて、快適に過ごすことができました。
沖縄やアジアのビーチリゾートで体験できるシュノーケリングをイメージすると、珊瑚や魚影という点では期待外れかもしれません。
それでも、ナ・パリコーストの迫力ある絶景はやっぱり感動もの。
そびえたつ奇岩を見上げながら海に浮かんでいると、とっても気持ちがいいです。イルカやウミガメにも逢えましたし、クルージングメインと捉えて参加すると、とても満足度が高いと思います。
■船の設備
カタマランなのでそれほど大きくは揺れませんが、クルージングの時間が長いので、慣れない人は船酔い注意。
船内に風をよけられるスペースがあり、トイレもついています。
■あると便利なもの
濡れた身体で風を切ると寒いので、防水のウインブレがあると便利です。
用意されているシュノーケルは割と簡易なものなので、持っている人は自前のシュノーケルとマスクを持っていったほうがいいかも。
■食事について
朝食：シナモンロール、クロワッサン、フルーツ、コーヒー
昼食：自分でつくるサンドイッチ＆サラダ、パスタ
飲み物：スプライト、コーラ、グリーンティー、ビール、ワイン（白・赤）、等
サラダやハムはフレッシュで、なかなかおいしいサンドイッチになりました。
■周辺情報：
ポート・アレンの周辺には小さなショップがいくつかあり、カウアイ・ローカルのチョコレートやクッキーショップ、ブリューワリ―。ちょっと歩いたところにサブウェイやマクドナルドなどがあります。
私たちは車を運転しないので、行きはUber（リフエから$46）、帰りはたまたまリフエ行のバスと遭遇し、バス（$2）とUber乗り継ぎで移動しました。ほとんどの方はレンタカーだと思いますが、カウアイ島はUberのドライバーが少ないので、つかまらないリスクも考慮したほうがよさそうです。

「神々が棲まう場所」という表現がぴったりの絶景
Reviewed by: namica, 2018/09/17滞在期間が約2日と短かったので、見どころを一気に周れるヘリコプターツアーを選びました。
飛行機ORヘリ遊覧のツアーは300ドルくらいする印象なんですが、ハワイだけはちょっとお安い気がします。
45分ほどの飛行時間でしたが、雨に濡れそぼるワイメア渓谷、天に向かってニョキニョキと生えたかのように岩がそびえるナ・パリコースト、白糸のような滝が何本も流れる景観は神々しく、感動のひと言でした。
翌日はクルージングに参加して、下からもナ・パリコーストを堪能したのですが、下から見上げるのも迫力があります。コストはかさばりますが、ぜひセットでの参加をお勧めしたいです。
■天候と催行について
カウアイ島に到着してみると、ハリケーン「オリビア」が過ぎ去った直後だからか島東部はかなりの強風…。ちゃんとヘリが飛ぶのか、飛んだとしても相当揺れるのではないかと心配になりましたが、全然問題ありませんでした。
どうも島の東西南北で大きく天候が違うようで、特に東側は風雨が多いエリアみたいです。天候が不安でも、催行会社の判断に任せて大丈夫だと思います。
■注意事項：
私は大丈夫でしたが、普段はあまり船酔いしない友人が気持ち悪くなりそうだったと言っていたので、不安な方は酔い止めを飲んで参加することをお勧めします（隣の男性は本当に辛そうでした…）。

The guides were professional and informative while also being funny the tube ride can be relaxing or thrilling depending on how you want it to be. I do advisee booking in advance as the tours do fill up, We booked two tours with the second one being next week with some other guests with the thought being we could cancel if we didn’t like it but we will most definitely be going back!

Amazing. Short kayak to trail and then hiked to waterfall. Everyone should do.

so much FUN!

Outfitters Kauai Zipline Trek Adventures at Kipu Ranch
Fantastic first time experience!
Reviewed by: Andy, 2018/09/05My wife was excited because of the picture she took of the fields where Jurassic Park/World scenes were filmed on Kipu Ranch, oh and the zip-lining was fun too!
This was my first time zip lining, and it was a great experience. I picked the 3-line course, assuming that we would love it, but not committed to a full day experience. My wife had zip lined before, but it was on her bucket list to zip line in the jungle. Our guides Bruce and Skylar(?) were terrific.
No complaints at all, just be aware you will have to do a little hiking form one launch to the next, and you have to wait your turn depending on the size of the party. Ours was small enough (about 12) that the wait wasn't that bad.

Smith's Family Garden Luau - Polynesian & Fire Show, Dinner and Open Bar
Good, but not the best
Reviewed by: Andy, 2018/09/05The food was very good, and the show was good as well. My only real complaint is the time gap between events happening. We arrived and were treated to a tram tour of the botanical gardens, which is fabulous. After that we had approximately 40 minutes before the Imu ceremony where they pull the pig out of the oven. Although we further explored the gardens, there's only so many times you can admire a flower or tree. My wife and I decided to find seats (open seating for parties less than 5), and we choose poorly. The bar doesn't open until after the Imu ceremony, so we weren't able to enjoy a drink (other than water) while we waited. After the Imu ceremony, the band started playing music and the bar opened. Once the buffet started, we realized our poor choice of seats, as we were among the last tables to be signaled for the buffet. At least we had drinks by that time, but the waiting wears on you. The food was good, but once we were finished, there was only the music to listen to. Normally this is an opportunity to talk to the other guests, but the seating arrangement isn't conducive to starting a conversation with strangers.
After another 30 minutes or dead time or so, we moved from the dining area to the theater. The show was entertaining, with traditional dances and music, but it just didn't flow as a story for me. I felt like it was more of a documentary of Hawaiian dance. My wife and I were ready to go when it was over (even before).

Luau Kalamaku at Kilohana Plantation - Polynesian Dinner Show & Fire Knife Dance
Best event on my Kauai trip!

What I loved the most was that there was constantly something going on, I was never bored waiting for the next tick of the clock to happen, unlike a different luau we went to later during our trip.
