This was a wonderful experience! Our instructor picked us up in a very clean van, there were 5 of us total. The drive to the ocean was beautiful and only about 10 minutes away. When we got there we put on our gear, eveything that you 'll need is there, fins, masks, wetsuit, etc. in the sizes you ask for. They even had prescription masks for people with glasses (even high strengths, a 5 for me). I was a little nervous because i'm not a very good swimmer, but the wet suit helps you float and there is a surf board like thing with rope handles that you can hang on to. Put I had a great time holding on to that and just looking down the whole time. We saw lots of tropical fish, coral reef, and sea turtles (huge ones!) just floating next to us. The ocean water is warm too, so don't worry about being cold, the pool at my resort was colder. Okay and last but not least there were no sharks. I would recommand everyone at some time to see Hawaii for the air. You truely can't see the beauty of the Island any other way. Our flight was so smooth, my son dooze off for a moment. Our pilot was excellent. My daughter has car sickness sometimes and she was fine. Our pilot was knowable about the Island and had very Interesting stories. It is a must do for everyone at any age. Thanks agian.

Kauai Airplane Tours - See Na Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, Jurassic Falls & More

This tour was awesome, and Bruce made it pretty interesting for us. The view was just spectacular, and we especially liked the Waimea Canyon. Being from Arizona, we didn't expect to see a similar geographic formation in Hawaii! Do this tour!

Kauai Backcountry Adventures Mountain Tubing Tour with Lunch

My family was not to impressed when I booked this but I have to say they all loved this activity. It was way more fun then I even expected. Our ages are 16,18,20,22,47,and 48. We all agree we would do it again. The staff could be a little more energenic. It was early in the morning and they seemed tired. but over all I would highly recommand this to all ages between 10- 60. great adventure. so much fun...........

This is actually the 3rd or 4th time we have attended a Smith's Luau. We always take newcomers here. They all expect a Luau. It is the best one on Kauai and we would strongly recommend it.

Kipu Safari Adventure - Zipline, Hike, Kayak & Waterfall Swim with Lunch

If you want to do something off the normal "Lounge Chair Larry", this is the trip to take. We met wonderful friends, enjoyed the whole day, and tested our mettle to boot ! I'd do this again, and would put on the bug spray as soon as the kayaking is done. I even loved the turkey sandwiches and pasta salad !Great team with Adam and Kaite and both should get a raise !!!

Beast luau i've been to, reconmend getting there early to walk through the incredible gardens after the short tour. The staff is top notch, the food is incredible and the intertainment is worth every penny. I would recomend this to anyone and everyone going to Kaua'i.

The cruise is vary relaxing, vary beutiful, and the staff is vary informative and the hula dancer was wonderful. But be warned the cave at the Fern Grotto is now closed, but you can still see it and take pictures of it wich is beutuful. recomended to first timers.

We loved the tram ride, beautiful grounds with peacocks and more, the great food at the luau, friendly people, a wonderful show! The covered pavilions made it pleasant! It was nice to have our picture taken and available for purchase. We liked having the luau in one place and the show in another. Wear mosquito repellent!

Smith's Kauai Wailua River Cruise to Fern Grotto with Live Entertainment

A very pleasant experience!

This cruise is great for older people who are not able to walk very well - the staff is very friendly, the entertainment is fun and relaxing, the river is beautiful, and the walk to the Fern Grotto was very nice also. We did this before going to the luau at Smith's. It was a wonderful combination!

Everyone in our group had a fantastic time - especially the 10 year old who got to swim with a sea turtle. Our guide worked well with our range of experience. He was very qualified and the trip was both fun & informative.
We would definitely go snorkeling with you again and recommend you to our friends.

Snuba diving was by far the best, most fun, most relaxing activity that I've ever done on any of the Hawaiian Islands! We were well instructed and the staff (sorry I don't remember names) were very safety-conscious. I couldn't stop smiling afterwards, and just to write about my experience now, I'm still smiling! I just finished watching the video of our group and re-lived it all over again. I highly recommend this activity!

Smith's Kauai Wailua River Cruise to Fern Grotto with Live Entertainment

Amazing Fern Grotto

This was an amazing Cruise down the Wialua River to the Fern Grotto. The staff was great and told of the history of the river and the grotto. The return trip included hawaiian music and hula lessons. I would really recommend this trip to everyone.

We have attended other Luaus on Kauai, but this Luau exceeded all expectations. The grounds are beautiful, the food was great and the service was outstanding. There was plenty of food and drink (all you can eat/drink) and it was all delicious! The Smith family and their associates are warm, friendly and genuine. One note of caution to those with young children - the show does not begin until after dinner is over, so this could make for a long night for some little ones. My two sons (3 years and 4 months) did well and enjoyed the show, but were definitely getting a little tired toward the end. Overall, I would highly recommend this luau.

The guides on the tour were outstanding. They were fun and knowledgable about the region and history. Really made the trip enjoyable. The tunnels can get a little cold, but definitely not bad. Although I am not fond of small spaces, the tunnels were not scary at all and both my husband and I enjoyed the event. Also, the lunch was tasty!

Kauai Surf School - Surfing Lessons at Poipu Beach

We had a great time. It was actually 2nd time trying to learn surfing. We tried from my friend, but we decided to take a lesson from pros. The instructor guy was very helpful, and taught us how to read the wave and the current, some safety tips you should know, etc. After all, surfing can be dangerous, so we're glad that we took a lesson. Thanks.

Lehua Crater & Na Pali Coast Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks

A Great Day

Captain Chris and his crew took care to make sure every passenger was looked after and made to feel at home. Watching the sun come up on the Na Pali coast was spectacular and the snorkeling spot was to die for.
The water can be rough so take precautions for sea sickness.
This was a great trip. I personally didn't need to have the "Forbidden Isle" portion. It's forbidden because you can't go anywhere near it.
All said though - a very good trip!

This tour is by far the best way to see the Island. I recommend doing it the first day your on Kaui because the pilots tell you were to go and what to see. We had the owner as the pilot and he gave us terrific ideas and views of the Island. Will do this tour again.

It was just gorgeous. I was a little nervous because had never been in a helicopter before but the facilities, equipment and staff were so professional by the time we went up, all my fears were gone and I was able to enjoy every second of the trip.

Smith Luau Extraordinary

The Smith Luau was an overall extraordinary experience and great value. The evening begins with a tram or walking tour of Smith's Tropical Paradise. The grounds include a wide variety of birds and fish, and labelled foliage. The luau was in a covered open-air pavillion, and preceded by giving thanks for the food and asking God's blessings. The luau was served buffet style, including fish, pork, chicken and beef dishes, and a wide variety of vegetables and desserts. While eating, we were serenaded by a live band, playing traditional Hawaiian music. Following the luau, we moved to a covered open-air amphitheater for a live show, including segments depicting the many cultures of the Hawaiian islands. The staff was genuinely courteous and kind. Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and is highly recommended.
