Had a great time snorkeling, paddle-boarding, and kayaking at the sandbar! The crew members are very kind and helpful as well. Live music inside the boat made time fly too! I would definitely suggest this package to all my friends!

Maui to Lanai Snorkel Cruise with Optional Underwater Sea Scooter Upgrade
Great experience
Reviewed by: Osidemike, 2021/12/18This was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. The adventure began about 7 AM, on time, and we were shuttled to the boat in a small dinghy with the boarding of the small shuttle being an interesting and fun experience. The captain and crew provide everything that is needed to have a great time including snorkel and mask and fins. Wetsuit tops are available. Flotation devices were available if needed. In fact it is best not to bring too much equipment since boarding the dinghy may cause some of your belongings to get a bit wet. Willow, the captains mate, gave us a safety talk and off we went on our adventure to Lanai. The two dive spots were wonderful. We were able to do some spectacular whale watching on our way to the dive spots and on our return trip. Snacks and drinks were perfect. All in all this was a well run adventure and one of the high points of the trip was Willow with her bubbly personality and friendly demeanor. My spouse and I recommend this trip highly for both experienced snorkelers and beginners. At the end of the journey we left a well-deserved gratuity since we were so impressed with the entire operation. We are sure that, if you take this trip with Kaanapali ocean adventures, you will be thrilled with the entire experience just as we were. As a final note, the adventure begins early in the morning. There is parking available at every hotel that is free and is identified as “beach access parking“. There are only about 20 spots available at each hotel but, since the adventure begins so early in the morning, we had no trouble finding these free parking spots. If you park in the parking structure the cost of a days worth of parking is around $40. In addition, the organization will send a text the day before the trip to inform you of items you need to bring and specific instructions on where to meet.

It’s a wonderful experience and the crew is fantastic! Hanging out at the Sandbar is a unique experience, and as an added bonus, saw lots of turtles and lots of beautiful fish! So much fun!!!

They made sure it was east for us and that we all had a good time. They were also so careful to protect the coral and wildlife at the sandbar.

Moana Swim with Turtles Tour - Kid's Friendly Waikiki Snorkeling Cruise
An Incredible Experience
Reviewed by: Jesse, 2021/12/17The crew from Moana Catamaran were awesome, laid back, and super helpful the entire experience! The classic island music, the weather, the catamaran.. all the vibes were perfect!
We saw a couple schools of Dolphins on the surface (which I believe is NOT common, so keep that in mind if you book!) and saw about 8-9 sea turtles during our time in the water. A few of them hung around the whole time and swam towards us so close we had to swim away to give them the distance they need.
The crew gave us everything we needed- snorkels, fins, and a floaty to make things super easy for our time in the water. I really enjoyed that it was a waist floaty and not a neck inflatable one like some of the other boats out there. Made it much more enjoyable.
Overall, we were mesmerized by the turtles and the fish / sea life that surrounded us, and had an amazing crew to take us to it. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to take from this. My wife said this was "the most amazing experience of her life", and I might even agree. :)

Molokini Crater & Turtle Arches Snorkeling Tour & Snuba Dive - Aqua Adventures
Aqua Adventures Was Amazing!!!
Reviewed by: Aaron Roberts, 2021/12/17The crew for Aqua Adventures was spectacular. I'm disabled, I can walk with a brace but mainly use a wheelchair. They helped me on to the boat and carried my chair on to the boat. They made sure I was included in every activity, including the bonus whale sightings we have seen. One crew member helped me get fin on and off each time and made sure that I was able to find the turtles during the coral city visit. The captain was upbeat and had wonderfully bad jokes but made sure everyone knew exactly was going on and safe in their Adventures. The food was great too!

This is very good for swimmers and non swimmers as the water level is only about 4ft near the sandbar. There is a beautiful coral reef that swimmers can go. The instructors are very helpful for non swimmers as they take them personally to show the turtles.

値段の割にはがっかりでした

船内にウエットスーツがあると書いてありましたが、置いておらず。
船内にはお茶や、チップス、リンゴが置いてあります、自由に頂くことが可能です。
サンドバーに着いたら、船長より英語で船より後ろに行ってはいけないなどの説明があります。12月、水はかなり冷たいのでずーっと入ってられるという感じではありませんでした。途中で一回船に戻されて、シュノーケルの説明があります。個人的に、最初に説明すれば一度上がることなかったのになぁと思います。寒いから2回目入ることができませんでした。
体験後、現地の方に伺いましたが、温暖化の影響で海水量が増え、近年、サンドバーになる事は稀だそうです。身長148センチの私は、足がやっと着くくらいの深さでした。ライフジャケットはあります。この料金なら、ダイビングができたなぁと感じました。

Do yourself a favor and book Caption Bob’s sandbar and snorkel tour. You will not be disappointed…unless you are a Karen. Hahah

The ladies are amazing!! They are the best!
Reviewed by: Tao X, 2021/12/05The two ladies are so nice, professional, helpful and patient. The captain very patiently led my daughter to the reef to see turtles and fishes. After the tour, we found out that our rental car was dead at the harbor. The ladies and two other guys offered help, while we were calling the rental office. They checked and jump started the car. We managed to drive back to the car rental office for replacement. Otherwise, we would wait for toll service for at least 2 hours. We offered additional tips but they refused. Very touched. They are the best!!

Amazing snorkeling
Reviewed by: Lin C, 2021/12/04The sandbar wasn’t exposed that day so we opted to snorkel at the different reefs and I’m so glad we decided to do that. The reefs are beautiful and there are a lot of fish to see. We saw several turtles too. The staff are very friendly. You can still use your phone data out at the reefs which made it a lot easier to find them on Google maps. I highly recommend this excursion

Great way to get out and away from shore and see some of the reefs and that giant sandbar! Definitely recommend!

Kaneohe Bay Kayak & Snorkel Self-Guided Tour [Tour Not Available]
Great kayaking experience at iconic spot
Reviewed by: JTA, 2021/12/01I had rented a tandem kayak rental at this place and they were really great in accommodating our schedule. Originally we were planning to go out on a Saturday, but the weather was not ideal, so we asked if we can reschedule and they did allow us to reschedule for later in the week as a one time exception.
It was a great idea to do that since the following Tuesday we went and the weather was fantastic (sunny and low winds).
The sandbar is about a 30-45 min kayak, and it wasn't rough at all. The scenery is beautiful and it was pretty cool to be standing out on a sandbar that far out from shore. Overall, I would definitely do it again as long as the weather cooperates.
