Lexi reminded me of my home town friends whom I rodeoed with since I was a kid. After talking with her, instantly we shared memories and stories of our childhoods and our love for horses. It was my husbands first time on a horse so it was so fun sharing my passion with him. We enjoyed the scenery and the horses we're great. We rode “Mo mo” and “Trapper”. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. I highly recommend Hawaii Polo Ocean Front Trail Rides to anyone who wants a few hours out on beautiful horses exploring the North Shore. Reviewed by: Dmitry, 2021/09/14Saw lots of Sharks! They come real close up! Crew was professional and very nice. There were 2 groups of 6 people each that took turns in the shark cage on our trip. Just be aware that while waiting on the boat for your turn (or waiting for the other group to finish their shark encounter) you are stuck on the boat and it can get real rocky. If you are prone to se sickness take proper precautions! My girlfriend was prone to sea sickness and suffered a bit while waiting on the boat but she made it through. All in all it was a great experience!!

One Ocean Diving Hawaii Shark Dive on Oahu & Snorkel Tour Experience
Amazing & above expectations!
Reviewed by: Jon, 2021/09/09This experience was AMAZING! At peak, I counted 12 sharks swimming around & below us. A few of the large ones came level with us to check us out! It was intimidating & inspiring! Plus, there just happened to be a large barracuda where we anchored who seemed as curious by us as we were of the sharks!
I'll admit that I was intimidated at the thought of being cageless. When I saw the barracuda at the nose of the ship I was all the more intimidated. But, this was why I did cage-free, i wanted to stomp this fear/intimidation.
We were in the water for a long time (I think 30 to 40min). At around 20min I decided to let go of the ship & just swim around a bit with the sharks & the barracuda! I cannot describe the full experience. It was amazing being in a "foreign land" (the ocean) with these incredible creatures!
I got my money's worth & more and I absolutely will do another cage-free dive next time I visit! I've found a new love with this experience!
Also, the three employees who led our escapade were great, interactive, & friendly.
I highly recommend people bring a go-pro & selfie stick. Also, let go of the boat, even if briefly.

Jamie O'Brien Surf Experience - North Shore Surfing Lesson at Turtle Bay

Reviewed by: Asefi, 2021/09/07I booked the lessons online having never been to Oahu or the north shore, but when i found out it was at Turtle bay Resort I knew it was the right place to be.(Forgetting Sarah Marshall was filmed there), but ya probably knew that!!
They have a little canopy set up next to the resort loading doc, very easy to find.
Will have us some basics on paddling, and standing up. Right after Dry instructions we hit the water. My wife and i were so eager to ride as for we are avid snowboarders for 20yrs. Let me tell you it’s a little different than riding a mountain. Like will said majority of the time you are paddling just to ride a 20sec wave, but it’s all worth it.
Next time we are going to surf all days in Hawaii.

Fun tour!
Reviewed by: Mariam, 2021/07/14We did the 9am 1-hour horseback. This tour is a trail ride meant for beginners - which was perfect for me! Don't forget to wear long pants and wear closed-toed shoes. There isn't much shade on the trail so wear plenty of sunscreen and wear sunglasses.
If you do the ATV at Gunstock Ranch too, try to do the tours back-to-back. This tour booked out a few weeks in advance and I wasn't able to do the tours back-to-back. We did the 9am horseback, had some time to grab lunch in Haleiwa, then came back to the ranch for our 2pm ATV tour. If you do this, make sure you leave with plenty of time to allow for traffic. Traffic on the North Shore can be unpredictable and you can be caught in bumper to bumper traffic which might make you late for the tour.

You guys rock! Especially Jamie though, my girl made me felt like I was on top of the moon and ensure I had the best first flight. Haha. This experience has been by far the best and trillest adventure I’ve done. It was a first timer for my boyfriend and I & we absolutely loved it. We had to cross 8 zip line and take on a few upper body strength challenges along the way. Totally worth the soreness the next day lol. The view was stunning!!! We recommend this to everyone 100%. This was one of the top highlights of my group's trip to Oahu. All of us had never been in a shark cage before, let alone see a 12-foot shark in the same water!! I recommend going with North Shore Shark Adventures because the guys are so friendly. Bring cash for tip!
I made online reservations through VELTRA. The time and date I chose online was apparently not available, but they notified me promptly after I booked. They were able to offer another time that worked for my group. I recommend booking for early morning tours because the water is more calm. Sea sickness is not fun, and one person in my group had a terrible experience with it. I felt bad for him.
Our boat had 14 people plus the captain and a deck hand guy. They split the 14 people into 2 groups to go in the shark cage. The shark cage fit my group of 8. We had our snorkel gear, GoPro, and underwater phone cases ready! I recommend bringing towels because it gets cold on the boat ride back to shore. I felt like we were in the cage for a while. It was plenty of time to get to the bottom of the cage, take videos, and see the sharks.
Logistics: meet at Haleiwa Harbor. Parking is free by the restroom. I didn't see any showers there, and there's also no doors in the restroom stalls. Wear shoes that are easy to remove. You won't be wearing them on the boat. I didn't have to bring my reservation or show anyone anything; just told them the name on our reservation.
