Aloha Blue Charters Small-Group Maui Turtle Town & Molokini Snorkel Cruise
Swimming with the Turtles
Reviewed by: Shelli & Jason, 2012/09/19We had a wonderful time with the crew of Aloha Blue on our snorkel cruise. Breakfast was continental with a lovely spread of fruit, pastries and breads. Juice, iced tea, coffee and water were also available.
We were taken to two snorkel spots and had an hour in each location. The time went by much too quickly! Joe, crew member, was in the water with us the entire time to point out sites and ensure everyone's safety. We were also provided with swim noodles (take advantage of those!!) to help swim against the current.
The second spot is known as "Turtle Town" and there are ample opportunities to spot sea turtles. It is great fun looking at the beautiful underwater world of Hawaii and seeing the sea life. Though we only saw one turtle it was worth the experience!
Lunch was cold cut sandwiches, which was disappointing as the tour information specified a BBQ lunch. The food was very good despite the misinformation.

Goofy Foot Maui Surf School Group & Private Surfing Lessons at Ukumehame Beach

Reviewed by: Victoria Dame, 2012/09/10We surprised our 10 year old son with surfing lessons on our recent trip to Maui. He was so excited when he finally found out what we were doing.
When we finally found Goofy Foot they were already getting people suited up and checked in. It is a little difficult to find, but worth the search. (Just so you know, it's past the school in a small shopping center on Front Street in Lahaina. Not in the main shopping district).
We checked in and they got him all suited up, he was the only kid that morning. They have small groups, only five people per instructor. They also have a photographer, $20 for 20 pictures. The pictures were good, not fantastic, but the price was great and we have a few really good ones.
The photographer took everyone down to the beach and gave them a lesson in hamming it up for the camera. Then the instructor came down and the lesson started.
They learned all the moves to get up, stay up, speed up and slow down on the sand before moving the board

UFO Parasailing Tour from Kaanapali Beach (May - Dec) [Closed]

Reviewed by: Brown Family, 2012/09/03We went as a family event and enjoyed the event itself, but we bought the pictures and video and two people in our group were not in the video, very disappointing. And there were only a few clips of us in the video. Most of the video is prerecorded stream that a few clips of our family was added to. The crew sells the t-shirts and receive the profit from them but was not willing to give a discount for 8 shirts. Not good business. When paying $60 for video and pictures the crew should have made sure the camera and sd card were working for each ride. Not happy.

Lahaina Sunset Dinner Cruise w/ Live Music & Cocktails - Maui Princess [CLOSED]
Nice dinner option in Maui
Reviewed by: Clark Family, 2012/08/22Having never been to Hawaii, we wanted to experience many of the romantic options available for couples. This dinner cruise did not disappoint. Our only complaint was the table and chairs - small table with chairs bolted to the floor. Uncomfortable and inconvenient.
The meal itself was well prepared and quite tasty. As non-drinkers we enjoyed the free beverages; however there was always a wait at the bar and we had to wait to get additional drinks. A suggestion would be for the servers to bring non-alcoholic beverages to those without the "alcohol bracelet."
Though Mother Nature did not cooperate and the sunset was less than spectacular, the experience itself was great. The entertainment was well done and we enjoyed the singer's lack of conversation while playing nice music.
This is definitely something we would enjoy doing again.

Reviewed by: Rinpapa, 2012/08/15宿泊したシェラトンマウイからビーチウォークにそって歩くと思いのほか近く７~８分で到着しました。入場ではIDの確認がありました。運転免許証なんかは持っていたほうがよいようです。あいにくなにも持っていませんでしたが難なくパス。
長蛇の列で待つなか、ハワイらしい小雨に見舞われましたが、おかげで空に虹がかかり、近くのアメリカ人ファミリーが写真を撮ってくれました。ちなみに日本からの参加者はかなり少ないようです。
ショーの内容は構成も分かりやすく楽しめるものでした、食事の内容は日本人的にはいくぶんワイルドな印象でした。

魚の種類は４種類ぐらいでしたが、綺麗なカラーでついつい見とれてしまいました。
モロキニ島から、ちょっと３０分程度離れた海岸近くには、ウミガメがいるとのことで、そこまでフルスロットル・・・・
いた、いた(+｡+)ｱﾁｬｰ｡カメさんが５匹も・・・海の底で休んでいます。そう深さは１０ｍ程度か？
そのうちの一匹が何を思ったのか・・・こっちに向かって来るではないですか・・・さわってはいけないとのStuffの話・・・いやいやさわりたいんじゃないんだけれどもね・・・ﾍ(^o^)/・・どんどん近づいて来るので、アップを一枚撮らせてもらいました。カメさん。ありがとう
Stuffのみなさんの明るいことﾍ(^o^)/対応も素早く、的確でした。でも、ENGLISHはちょっと早口で、理解するのに頭をフルに使わないと・・・でもでもとても親切でした。
とても満足のできるツアーでした。そして迫力のあるクルージングは最高！
最後に一言、クルーザーは停泊中はかなりゆれます。乗り物酔い止めの薬を飲んでいった方が幸せかも・・・
アメリカの人々のstomachはとってもタフです。日本人は？？けっこう繊細なことにも気が付きました。

2-Hour Horseback Riding Tour at Circle M Ranch - Mountain Trail with Ocean Views
One of the highlights of our trip
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/08/15We recently visited the Mendes Ranch with a group of 5 (two women in our forties, two 16 year-olds, and a 14 year-old). I owned horses while growing up, but haven't ridden in years, and the other members of our group have ridden once or twice on other trail rides. We all had a wonderful time. We were placed in an intermediate trail group with another couple, making our group total of 7. Butch was our guide and he moved along the line of horses throughout to the ride, checking in with everyone and chatting about the ranch. He took lots of photos with the riders cameras at two different photo locations and even took video of the final run. Other reviews have mentioned the dust on the trail and we did get VERY dirty, but we expected it. At times, Butch had some of the group veer off to other portions of the trail to try to limit the dust. I did not mind this, but our younger members got a bit nervous when they could not see the other horses.

Nice Trip/Good Snorkling
Reviewed by: George, 2012/08/13A very nice ride from the marina to Molokini. I liked the intimacy of the small boat compared to having too many people on your trip on the larger boats that filled the area.
We have 3 families of 4 and the crew. Nice size to get the most out of the trip.
You could do some fishing along the way if you wish (on the way back, they caught a huge Mahi Mahi fish). You get a continental style breakfast on the way out.
You see some amazing things in crystal clear waters at Molokini.
We did go to Turtle Town. My wife had a close up encounter with a turtle on his way to the surface for air. She thought it was great.
A nice lunch on the way back which included burgers and sandwiches.
A good day for everyone on our trip.

ラナイ島 シュノーケリングクルーズ ＜1日2便／食事＆アルコール2杯付き＞
離島のビーチを独り占め

朝のサンライズツアーでした。
ラハイナ港の駐車場まではレンタカーで行きました。早朝ですが係りの人がおり、トリロジーのツアーというと一日10ドルで駐車できます。
参加者はカナダ、アメリカ、韓国からで、日本人はいませんでした。日本語ガイドもつきません。
行きは波もなく、風もなく、ちょうど朝日が昇る時間で、快適でした。ラハイナの北岸を西へ回り込む途中、イルカが大群で生息している近くを通ります。イルカは船と追いかけっこをしてくれました。定番のシナモンロールも作り立てで温かく、おいしかったです。
フロポイ湾は9痔頃はまだ誰もいません。独占状態です。湾は波打ち際で波が高くなるので、波が立たない少し沖でフィンを履く必要があり、小さい子供（9歳）は少し戸惑いました。魚はたくさん見られます。サンゴの保存もよく、水の透明度も抜群です。やや波があるので、浅瀬や岩場には近寄らないほうがよさそうでした。やや深いところで水深2から3メートル下を観察しました。子供連れでもあり、近くに同行したトリロジーの方がサーフボードの上に座って皆の安全を監視してくれていたので安心でした。最後に、砂浜に上がるときも波とともに一気に駆け上がらないと、また沖に引き込まれそうになりますが、ツアーのキャプテンが子供の手を引っ張って上陸させてくれました。
市内ツアーは特に見るものもないです。かつて日本から移民が大勢パイナップル作りに加わっていたことがわかり苦労がしのばれました。資料館に日本人の写真、日本人形があります。
港に戻って、バーベキューのチキンはおいしかったです。船の上からのスノーケリングと違い、陸上ですので酔うこともなく昼食を満喫できるのがこのツアーの良いところです。
帰りはほぼ同じ航路のはずですが、波が少しでました。あらかじめキャプテンが帰りはrompyだからと、皆に酔い止めを勧めましたので服用したら、いい気持ちで寝てしまいました。
これぞリゾートのツアーという感じで大満足でした。

カアナパリ沖 セーリング＆シュノーケリングツアー ＜英語ガイド／食事・アルコール2杯付き＞
ウミガメとサンゴに囲まれて
Reviewed by: ソロイモンガラ, 2012/08/05家族4人で参加しました。スタッフを含め日本人はいませんでしたが、陽気なスタッフで、とくに疎外感を感じずに楽しめました。
ホノルア湾でスノーケリングをしましたが、湾にはもう一船いるだけで、広々した湾でのびのび泳ぎ回れました。
海の透明度は高く、サンゴ、魚は十分楽しめました。ウミガメの数は半端なく、6匹近くまとまって集まっているのに遭遇しました。
スポットを変えて、もう一度スノーケリングしましたが、そちらは岩場で、最初のスポットほどサンゴは見られませんでした。
行き帰りの波はそれほど荒くなく、まったく酔わずに済みました。
日本人がもっと訪れてもいいように思います。

Most of the Restaurants there, which are not too many, close really early. We were lucky to be able to have a late lunch at one of them, cant recall the name, and the food was delicious.

カエレク洞窟アドベンチャーツアー 鍾乳石や溶岩洞窟を探検！ハナの道ドライブ付き＜1日／英語ガイド／朝・昼食付＞

Reviewed by: Doke, 2012/08/02ハナへの運転はとっても大変だと聞いていたのでこのツアーを選びました。車は座席が広々としてとても快適で、運転もとても丁寧だったので酔ったりは全くありませんでした。
ハナは手つかずの自然の美しさ神秘さがありました。
Lava Yube探検や熱帯雨林の植物、海もまた感じが違うのでとても感動しました。
ツアーに参加する前日まで英語のツアーだと知らなくてドキドキでしたが、韓国のご夫婦、エルサルバドル出身のロス在住の親子と私と娘でしたので 和気あいあいと楽しく1日過ごすことができました。
水着を着てきましたが、海も洞窟内の水もちょっと怖くて入ることはできませんでしたが、水遊び程度なら楽しめると思います。
最後に、Mr.Wayne,Thank you for taking care of us.
We had a very good time indeed!

Great Snorkeling/SNUBA adventure!

Four Winds Molokini Snorkel Tour - Premier Cruise with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks

It was a different experience having lunch on a cruise after snorkeling. The staff was very nice and friendly and made sure we enjoyed and had fun. If we go back to Hawaii, then will definitely take this cruise again.

Daytime Haleakala National Park Sightseeing Tour, Iao Valley & Makawao Town
An Enjoyable Adventure.....
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/06/20We first headed to Haleakala. There was a pleasant stop along the way for drinks and snacks. The views were spectacular and there was ample time to see the sites without being rushed. Judy, our tour director and driver, offered interesting facts and other information but appeared to be very bored and tired of the tour routine. She repeated the blurb about taking nothing but pictures about a gazillion times. Maybe it was just an off day for her. We headed to a very nice town for lunch. This was a pricey place, but the food was excellent and the service good. After lunch we headed to Iao and the rainforest inside. It was beautiful and once again we had ample time to see the sights without being rushed. At Iao we were switched to a different van that met us there and headed back home. All in all, a very pleasant day!

Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/06/12While we all had a lot of fun and took some great pics, the 2-hour ride ended up closer to 3 hours. Although I'm not an expert on horses, it seemed to all of us that the horses were exhausted and hungry. The house and surrounding grounds are not well maintained with too much trash around and lots of tall weeds around the buildings and lots. There were two guides. Our main guide was the younger one, and he was very nice. The other tour guide kept coming back and trying to make the horses run and go faster, which was a little unnerving for beginners...especially since the majority of the ride was either uphill or downhill on very rocky terrain. There was very little pasture riding. As the tour description indicates, you will get VERY dusty. We are glad we went for the ride, but would much rather have taken a shorter, easier ride for our first time. It's definitely a great picture-taking opportunity.
