Great Family Experience
Reviewed by: Sherminator, 2008/06/27Our family loves the Smith's Family Luau--the gardens are beautiful, the food is excellent & the Smith Family is so nice. This was our 2nd time at this luau & we enjoyed it as much as the 1st. I highly recommend doing the fern grotto cruise & then the luau right after. This was a wonderful family experience!!

Kayak Kauai Hanalei River & Blue Lagoon Kayak & Snorkel Adventure

Reviewed by: Flo S, 2008/06/17This was a really fun experience! Jonathan was our tour guide and since we were the only ones booked that afternoon, it was a really private tour. We snorkeled at Hideaways Beach, which was breathless. The kayaking back was a little tough because we were tired from the snorkeling but we finally made it. I would definitely do it again!

So, for the 5th Anniversary Trip, we decided to see the Na Pail, which our friends visit Last year and recommended to us.
The Crew members were great! We were the only Japanese couple on the Boat, but they tried to understand our poor English, explain the history of Kauai, and they even sang us a Hawaiian Song after they found out this is our 5th Anniversary Trip..
Off course, the view was incredibly beautiful.
I strongly recommend this Activity for my Friend!!

However, because our flight out of LAX was delayed, it almost didn't happen. I called your staff and they were glad to reschedule for the next day. Thank You So Much! We also ended our vaction by giving the Leis to the calm waters at Anini Beach. Hopefully, we'll return again someday.

I was somewhat apprehensive since I have issuses with panic attacks, he was so kind and reassuring that it made the flight very comfortable. Kaui is such a beautiful island you get a different perspective from the air. We enjoyed Bruce's vast knowledge of Kauai from the air. He even let my husband do a little bit of the flying since he had his private piolts license. We highly recommend

Sunshine Helicopters Kauai Na Pali Coast Air Tour from Lihue
Ultimate Kauai Adventure

My wife and I brought the kids this time and did the ultimate Kauai helicopter tour. After the pre-flight jitters we were awing & snapping some beautiful pictures and the kids had a blast!!! Definitely a highlight to our vacation.

Reviewed by: Barbara, 2008/05/22We loved this tour. The ride up the river was informative and absolutely beautiful. Walking the Grotto was amazing. So many types of plants. You will be amazed. Be sure to walk through slowly. Look at every flower and in between leaves so you don't miss the giant bumble bees or the beautiful birds. Some people walked too quickly and missed these wonders of nature.
The ride back was pleasant with the staff playing music and dancing. They were great guides and great people. One of the guides walked slowly with us and told us all about the different plants and what the natives used these plants for. Super informative. I felt sorry for those who didn't take the time to listen to his wealth of knowledge.

We spent too much time waiting in lines and wandering around the city, and would ahve preferred seeing more in Pearl Harbor. Overall we did enjoy ourselves.

I would have liked this information ahead of time, as walking on concrete is very painful for me, and I would have taken my scooter if I had known there was a paved walk way. I would like to go again sometime, when the ferns have recovered from the damage of the 2006 Hurricane. Cruise was informative, entertaining and fun!

3.5-Hour Kauai Napali Sunset Dinner Cruise with Open Bar - Holo Holo Charters
Fantastic Cruise
Reviewed by: Saadia and Phil, 2008/04/23This was an awesome cruise. The captain gave us a great narrative of Na-Pali as we cruised and enjoyed the beautiful sights. The crew was very friendly and the service was excellent. As an added bonus we were able to spot quite a few whales which was an unexpected treat since it was the middle of April when most whales are on their way back to Alaska.
We had a perfect evening with minimal clouds which ended the cruise with a beauitful sunset. We also saw a dolphin as we were making our way back to the dock.
Aaron, one of the crew members also gave us alot of history on Kauai. I highly recommend this cruise!
Thanks Holo Holo Captain and crew for making our cruise such an unforgetable experience.

Waimea Canyon Sightseeing Tour & Wailua River Cruise to Fern Grotto with Lunch
Best of the Island
Reviewed by: Kauai Fan, 2008/04/19The bus took us all over the island and we got to see everything up close. I was thankful I did not have to do any driving and could enjoy the scenery. Everything was so beautiful. I came away thinking Kauai was my favorite island. It was worth every penny I paid and I think the best of all the circle island tours. I took one Circle Island Tour on each island and Kauai was the best. The guide was very informative and I learned things about Kauai that I otherwise would not have known being out on my own. The only thing I would suggest is to plan on being really tired the next day, and just to relax the next day because you do and see so much that it tires you out.

It was great having the Hawaiian music during dinner. The show was pretty good. We did enjoy it, but it doesn't quite compare to the show at the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, which is the best. This one was good, and it tried to have different islands represented, but the numbers were all very similar to each other. Loved the fire and volcano and the dragon. It was an enjoyable evening for our family.

Fern Grotto Boat Ride
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/04/02Our family enjoyed this short boat ride to the Fern Grotto. The Grotto itself has changed since our last trip to Kaua'i. Sit on the left side of the boat while it is at the dock (which will then be the right side going up the river). That way you can see most of the sights the guide points out on the way to the Fern Grotto. It was informative, especially for first timers. Next trip, we will probably kayak up to the Grotto.

Sacred Falls Adventure - Wailua River Kayak, Hike & Waterfall Swim

Reviewed by: The Desio's, 2008/03/28We had a great time on this tour. It is a 2.5 mile kayak and about a 2 mile hike to a spectacular waterfall. We went in March with our 9 yr old son. These are two person kayaks that you cannot have children in the middle. I ended up pairing up with another mom who came with her family. Our guide was very knowledgeable and able to tell us all about the trees and plants around us and other things along the way. We hiked to the waterfall where we had lunch and able to swim under the waterfall. This is definitely something to try.

Kauai Jurassic ATV Tour at Kipu Ranch - Ultimate Mountain Off-Road Adventure
The Best ATV Tour!
Reviewed by: The Desio's, 2008/03/28This was an amazing experience. We went in March with our 9 yr old son. My husband got a 4-wheeler and we got the Rhino. The guides were great, making sure everyone was safe before we got going. If someone was unable to operate safely, they would end up riding with the guides. Everyone in our group was respectful and followed the rules so we were able to get extra riding time. The stops were great, my son loved using the rope swing to jump into the river. The lunch spot was great, there was a kitten and small boars that would eat the left overs. The second waterfall was great, a little cold but worth getting in. We were able to see amazing scenery, the views were spectacular. We took some amazing pictures. This is a tour that you must experience. When we return we will definitely be doing this again. THANK YOU for an amazing experience that we will never forget.

We had a blast with the staff during our kayaking, hiking, swimming, rope-swinging, truck riding. Everyone, from Rachel to Lauren to Nate were all very pleasant, humorous and overall good people. This excursion is absolutely recommended for anyone and everyone looking for an overall great time. This is absolutely the first thing that we will be looking forward to on our next visit to Kauai.
