Kipu Ranch Kauai ATV Tour with Waterfall Swim - Triple Trail Expedition

Had an amazing time on the tour! Our guides, Marlin and Justin were great! Very funny and super nice! My nephew has autism and Justin was wonderful with him!
Loved swimming in the waterfall and the kids loved the rope swing!
Highly recommend this tour!

A level of service ever seen before. Met in the terminal with a sign with our names on it and the friendliest hostess and driver one could imagine. And the puka shell lei was icing on the cake.

Really enjoyed the tour. Was personal and informative. Good views for everyone. Lots of georgous waterfalls, beaches and interior landscapes. Well worth the money. Only way to see the entire island!

Mount Waialeale Rainforest Hike (Easy to Moderate)

Great trip and very informative. Paul was very knowledgeable and entertaining and it was great to see the top of Mt. Waialeale as it is not visible very often. The hike was very casual and not at all taxing. This was a nice way to spend half a day.

I was disappointed. I had been there about 4 years ago and the Fern Grotto was beautiful with lots of beautiful flowers to look at. It was so over grown you could hardly see the water fall. I also felt rushed, no time to admire the flowers that were there. I would not recommend this.

Excellent!

Smith's Luau was fantastic. As we entered, we took the tram ride around the grounds, during which we heard an excellent overview of information. We then had enough time to wander back through and read placards or take pictures of the beautiful scenery. Hearing about the imo and the roasted pig was really informative. The food at the luau was DELICIOUS! Especially the kalua pig. Yum! The show was also very good. Overall, a fantastic night. Highly recommended.

Kauai Ziplining Tour - Skyline Eco Adventure from Poipu

An exciting outing for family and adults!

This adventure of 8 lines was so exciting. I am terrified of heights, but was committed to trying this very safe yet thrilling experience. The guides were patient with me and reassured me that my harness was surely affixed. The sights are spectacular -- filled with the thick greenery of tree tops and the clear blue sky of Kaua'i.

Note: there is a bit of uphill walking that is required to reach each of the launch platforms.

What more can we say? Jessie made our kayak tour the most exciting part of our Kaua'i vacation. He's 100% passionate about the island & maintaining it's splendor. Jessie know the island flora & fauna, as well as very interesting tidbits about the history. He is also an excellent kayaker, who remained calm throughout our outing. One of the 3 couples in our party had their kayak turn over and the wife, a non-swimmer panicked. Jessie made sure all were safe with life preservers securely fastened, despite the slight "adventure." This tour is worth doing again, and again. Thanks Jessie!

Inter-Island Trip Kauai to Oahu - Pearl Harbor Day Tour with Airfare Included

We took this tour as a day trip from Kauai. We are very pleased with the service. The tour associates were very helpful in making sure that we made all our connections, before and during the day. The tour bus driver, Ed, was very informative and made sure that we had the best experience possible.

It is always awesome to see an island by air up close and personal. My niece had never been on a helicopter and was so impressed with Blue Hawaiian. I have been on many other helicopter rides but the new technology is impressive.

Waimea Canyon Sightseeing Tour & Wailua River Cruise to Fern Grotto with Lunch

Nice Tour

If you don't have a car or don't want to drive this is a great way to see the sights. Comfortible transportation and the bus driver was very nice and informative. Long day for us, 11 hours, because we were picked up in Princeville, better if picked up from Lihue or Poipu. No lunch is provided however they stop at a golf course in Poipu to eat in their restaurant, so prepare for that additional expense. Was a little disappointed with Fern Grotto, we've seen much nicer areas in the botanical gardens. Boat ride was fun! Might be too long a day for young children and teenagers, for us it would have been better to drive ourselves.

More than Worth the Money

I really enjoyed this. The staff were friendly, but not pushy. Nobody tried to sell me something else or tried to get me to upgrade to something else. The boat ride was pleasant, scenic, and informative. The grotto is pretty, but I think the benefit is the boat ride, music, and hula demonstrations. I would definitely do this again.

We have attended luaus on other islands and the show at this luau was not impressive. The grounds were amazing , beautiful picture opportunities ....and the food was delicious!!! We were not impressed with the show. The seating was stadium seating which was extremely uncomfortable. The show was not interactive with audience......I believe the "host" was pre-recorded?

Again.....we've been to other islands and have been to much better.

The plane was good, but please take motion sickness pills before boarding. Also be prepared to get hot while on the plane tour. The Smith's Luau was the best thing we did while in Kauai. Very well organized by the Smith family and very polite and treat you like a family visitor. The show was awesome! Luau is a MUST and plane ride is 50/50 choice.

Great experience

This excursion was originally booked for my daughters 17th birthday celebration, as your description states that you only have to be 16 to drive with a valid drivers license ,however apon check in it was discovered that this policy changed over 2 years ago.
Rules are rules, and she was not allowed to drive.....HOWEVER......everyone bend over backwards to correct the situation and make my daughters day still special. It was hard
to stay upset as everyone did what they could do and did so quickly. While still on the ride, I got a voicemail from VELTRA apologizing for their error and that it was taken care of before we even returned .
The staff and guides were the nicest people and made the whole experience a wonderful one. Thank you to VELTRA for correcting your error so quickly....she can't wait till next time to be old enough to drive, and thank you to the staff for being so awesome!

Only single rider on the trip!

Family review is posted separately, my single rider experience was AWESOME!!!!
It was an amazing experience and the guides were very good at giving direction on how to handle sticky situations. The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been MORE MUD!
The lunch was fresh and delicious, and we even got to share it with some wild pig.
The guides were very informative and couldn't have cared more about you if you were their own family.
I ended up being the only single rider on this trip, and I loved every moment of it!
