My Sister and Niece have never been to Hawaii. I wanted to ensure their visit started wonderfully, so I ordered leis for them, plus another friend traveling with us. A very nice and friendly man was waiting for us as we entered baggage claim. He presented the beautiful leis as well as given us directions to the baggage claim for our flight and where to go to get our rental car shuttle. The leis did get the trip off to a wonderful start.

Hard time looking for the bus company.

Self explanatory. They are supposed to be within reach once we get out of airport.
But, we spent 2 hours looking high and low.
Staff were rude because they weren’t English-fluent, and were condescending and not-one-bit helpful when spoken English too.

Andrea contacted me upon arrival then greeted & escorted us to our driver with a smile. She was very friendly, helpful, & grateful.
Our driver was also awesome, personable, courteous & knowledgeable. He gave us some good recommendations and advice as tourists. So sorry I forgot his name. The SUV was spotless & comfortable. Our driver was also a conscientious driver and got us to our hotel safely and in a timely manner. No issues; very satisfied & will definitely use in the future. Thanks a bunch!

We rang as instructed when we were at the meeting point and were told a car would be dispatched and would be 15 minutes. He arrived, loaded our bags, we climbed aboard (& I mean climbed, no step was offered), then sat waiting for a further 20 minutes for 3 other people. We were under the impression this was a private shuttle, not like all the other airport shuttles on demand. My husband had to help the other two elderly ladies into the vehicle as the step was far too high. Totally disappointed for the price we paid!!

The greeter was all set with their sign and anniversary message as we began our walk out the airport after picking up our bags! My spouse was so surprised when they saw their name on the sign and we received our leis. The greeter offered to take our picture together under the welcome to Kauai sign. I had planned our travel clothes with this in mind so this photo is priceless--
We look happy and relaxed with our Aloha spirit. I just wish I had remembered to set aside some small change to tip my greeter.
