It was such an absolute pleasure going out with Captain Preston and Alex. We are in Hawaii fairly often and are looking forward to future tours with them. We really appreciated their knowledgeable approach to staying safe and making it fun for all of us. It was much more of a private experience compared to the tours we have taken on the larger boats and it made it all the more special. Everything from helping us select the best time of day to making sure everyone had a wonderful experience was done with such thoughtfulness and professionalism. A “little bird” even told Captain Preston about a family song that he made a point to play as we can back into the harbor. We all felt spoiled and loved every moment of our tour. As a Navy family we also really appreciate the military discount he offers. Completely recommend Island Splash Tours to anyone thinking about a boat or snorkeling tour!!

Reviewed by: Bev, 2023/09/26Great 2.5 hours on and in the water. The catamaran was the best way to sail / boat to the location. On the way we saw dolphins and then several turtles at the site. Plenty of time to snorkle and experience sea turtles and view the fish. Would highly recommend the Mana Kai Catamaran as it has less people, more exciting with waves and sailing and the crew was fantastic!

BOB's Hawaii Underwater Scooter Adventure & Turtle Watching Tour
Incredible unique underwater adventure!
Reviewed by: Naomi G., 2023/09/25The scooters were everything we hoped they would be, we saw tons of fish and the support team was absolutely incredible in ensuring we had FUN. One of the guys found an octopus to bring over for photos and to interact with. We were in the 2nd scooter group, so I got to hop in for snorkeling both before and after my scooter ride. I saw a turtle while snorkeling and it was neat to watch some of the scooters cruising around. Highly recommend adding this experience to your must do list while on Oahu. You won't be disappointed.

We were lucky enough to be able to see dolphins during our adventure. The time for snorkeling could have been a little longer. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommended it for everyone to try while visiting Kauai.

MUST DO WATER ACTIVITY!!
Reviewed by: Hong, 2023/09/24This was the most fun water activity my friends and I did. We did the 9AM excursion so the sun was not fully out and was kind of chilly out there. But you end up warming up in the water. The snorkeling was amazing this was the most fishes that we saw during our whole time in Hawai'i (we've done snorkeling about 3x this trip). We also did the Bumper tube ride. I would only recommend this if you want some adrenaline! Since we did the 9AM, they provided donuts and OJ. I would recommend that you bring your own lunch, snacks, and drinks. There is also a convenient store by the dock if you want to pick up food. If you're wondering, they DO have restrooms on the boat and a changing room as well. Bring a set of comfortable clothes to change into (: This is the 1 activity i would do again!

I would 100% recommend booking if you’re looking to come face-to-face with different fish and turtles. The trip included a lovely boat ride to turtle bay where we were given snorkeling gear and a floatation device. I was afraid we weren’t going to see any turtles, but the trip did not disappoint. The team was very professional, fun, and helpful. Overall, it was a memorable experience for all to enjoy.

Kona Manta Ray Night Snorkel Tour - Small-Group Adventure from Keauhou Bay
A Wondrous Experience

I especially appreciated the small group size - eight people - which meant that we were able to watch the mantas without getting in each other's way. My sister and I were at the end of the line, opposite each other. This meant that as the manta rays turned over and swam upside down just under the light board - only a few inches away from us - we could look right down their throats. I was amazed at how clean and empty their large mouths were. It was fascinating to see their gills from the inside as well as the outside.
It was wonderful to watch the mantas swim. They move so smoothly they hardly seem to be propelling themselves. The patterns on their backs fluoresce in the light, so they're easy to see.
We watched by lining up on either side of a board, holding on to it and floating stretched out away from it, with flotation devices like pool noodles under our ankles. This keeps our bodies away from the mantas, which is for their protection, not ours. (The mantas are harmless. No teeth, no sting. They eat plankton, not people!)
Two tips:
1. The staff had us put the pool noodles under our ankles, but in that location, it's easy to lose the noodle. Try putting it just below your knees instead. It's much easier to keep in place that way, and if your knees are at the surface, the rest of your legs will be also.
2. If you do lose your noodle, don't panic or kick. Keep your head down, relax, stay as flat as you can, and allow the water to support your body. Staff members will retrieve the noodle and slip it under your legs again. Kicking disturbs the mantas, and the stress is bad for them.

11時～13時に海遊び
14ホテル到着
沖合いへ移動中の船の中は、水や、ジュースもらえます。
スナックやスパムおにぎりあり。すべて無料。
シュノーケリングで、海の魚観賞。魚の場所や珊瑚をガイドしてくれて、キレイな魚が見れました。ニモの世界でした。
午前中でしたが、天気良く、サンドバーに立つことできました。10歳と6歳の子供と一緒でしたが、子供も立つことできました。波はありませんでした。
浮き輪や、サップ道具など無料で借りれます。
子供用の浮き輪もあります。
遊んでいる横を、ウミガメが通っていき、近くで見ることができました。
帰りの船の中で、あたたかいコーヒーや、紅茶、ココアが無料で飲めました。
日本語で話してくれるクルーもいるので、安心です。
船内にトイレもあります。
子供も大満足でした。
値段が高いように見えましたが、物価が高いハワイで、この値段でツアー参加でき、コストパフォーマンスは良いと思います。

Deluxe Captain Cook Snorkeling Tour at Kealakekua Bay - Fair Wind Cruises
A Relaxing and Enjoyable Trip with Good Food but Mediocre Snorkeling
Reviewed by: Kathy M., 2023/09/23On the whole, I'm glad I went. It was a lovely day, the boat was comfortable, and food great. The trip included a plant-based breakfast and lunch, with Kona coffee and alcoholic drinks available for purchase. The boat stopped twice on the way out so our guide could explain what we were seeing along the shore.
All the staff members were delightful and took good care of us.
Unfortunately, Kealakekua Bay did not offer the variety of sea life I experienced in other Hawaiian locations. I wonder if the reef has been affected by global warming. My prior experiences were 20 years ago, so things may be different now.
My experience was complicated by the fact that the corrective face masks were only available in a medium, which was too large for me. Consequently, I had major water leakage and was unable to spend much time snorkeling. One of the staff explained that supply chain problems have limited the availability of corrective masks. That's a good reason for bringing your own!
My sister, who had her own mask, explored more widely and commented on the relative scarcity of sea life, although she did see one kind of fish that was new to her.
Nevertheless, the trip was fun. I enjoyed my run down the slide - my sister's dared me to do it!
A number of snorkeling tours go to Kealakekua Bay. I looked at the other tour boats there and concluded that ours was the best. All in all, it was a great way to spend the morning. (Did I mention that both breakfast and lunch were delicious?)

Excellent half day activity on Oahu.

Waikiki Guided Beach Snorkeling Tour for Beginners with FREE Photos & Videos

The lagoon where this snorkel tour is hosted is great as it has rock barrier walls all around to protect it from large waves. Our tour guide, Micki was so knowledgeable and was able to tell us so much about the fish and coral that we could see. This is a great tour for beginners or families with younger children who want to try out snorkeling! Would highly recommend it!

潮位の確認が必要。
Reviewed by: りえ, 2023/09/21私たちが参加した日は、大人がやっと足がつく深さでした。潮位によっては、写真と全く異なるので、調べてから申し込んだ方が良いです。また9月下旬の風の強い日で、水温も低く子供達は寒がりすぐに出てしまい残念でした。（1時間以上楽しんでいた赤ちゃんもいました）
スタッフの皆さんは、全員感じが良く、日本語スタッフの方が丁寧に説明してくださるので安心です。ほぼ満席で座る場所がなかったのですが、移動をお願いしてくださり大変助かりました。
シュノーケルをするなら、マリンシューズがあった方が良さそうです。珊瑚礁に足をぶつけてしまい（触ってはいけません）怪我をしてしまいました。

We had a very peaceful morning out at turtle canyons- heading out we got a great view of Waikiki from the water, which was beautiful! We saw a lot of turtles, and even had some dolphins swimming right next to the boat on our way back!
I highly recommend this company and their tours. Their semi-private tours make for such a fun, relaxing, and personalized experience!

They ensured I felt safe which was huge because I had never snorkeled before. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks, they provide everything you need including prescription goggles which was an amazing surprise. Diego also gave us manta ray facts as we were snorkeling and we loved it. The night began with a sunset boat ride, leading into the manta ray snorkel, and then a quick boat ride back to the harbor with snacks and hot cocoa. I will never forget this experience.

Captain Bob's Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch with Free Transportation

We definitely had to take the kids to experience it. Kids had an amazing time playing volleyball and snorkeling around the reef. We even saw some turtles. Burgers were delish! The crew were professional and caring. While snorkeling my daughter was stung by two jellyfishes and the crew were so attentive to her. Major props to them. Definitely a 5 star!

Captain Bob's Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkel & BBQ Lunch with Free Transportation

Reviewed by: Kelly M, 2023/09/17We had a great time. The crew were friendly and fun, and they ensured everyone was enjoying the experience. We were lucky to see so many turtles on the sail out to the reef and then magically we saw one while snorkeling. I will never forget that experience! The reef was full of fish; one of the best snorkeling excursions we've done. The sandbar was beautiful too. I'm so glad we did this, and we highly recommend it!

きれいな海でシュノーケリングとSUP体験
Reviewed by: onechan, 2023/09/17きれいな海で泳ぎたいという子どもたちの希望でスノーバーツアーに参加しました。泳ぎの得意でない私は乗り気ではありませんでしたが、行ってみるとシュノーケリングではウミガメと泳ぐことができて大興奮。SUPは体幹があって足腰がしっかりしている子どもたちはすぐに立つことができたのに還暦を過ぎて足腰が弱った私は最後まで立つことができず、大変悔しい思いをしましたが、気がつけば時間ギリギリまで夢中で遊んでしまいました。小腹が減った時に食べたスタッフさんお手製のスパム握りがおいしかったです。
