Captain Morgan and his crew were awesome. They made sure we had the best experience; anchoring the boat away from the larger boats packed with fellow snorkelers whenever possible. They were knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend.

Hawaii Manta Ray Sunset & Night Time Snorkel Experience from Kona - Iruka
Once in a lifetime experience

Turtle Canyon Snorkel Cruise from Ala Wai Harbor - Pink Sails Waikiki
Not Much To See
Reviewed by: BeeKae, 2021/07/11The worst snorkel tour I’ve ever been on as far as what a person was able to see under the water. My husband didn’t see a single fish. The kids and I saw two species. A black fish and a striped fish..literally two fish of each kind. Water is too cloudy to see much. I don’t believe there is really much to see even if the water were clear. No reef in sight. Way too many tourists from about 5 different boats all dropped off to snorkel at the same spot so people are constantly getting in each other’s way. I never saw a turtle except the one from the boat when we first pulled up. BEST part was the crew and the sail after the snorkel. The crew was wonderful. Brandon was super funny. Ryan and Mike both nice guys. They all work hard. Maybe it was just a poor day at sea for seeing much in the water, but I wouldn’t do it again. A sunset sail with them would be great since the sailing was the best part and the crew is awesome. But if you’re hoping to see a lot of fish and turtles while snorkeling, don’t expect it here. Wish I could get a refund.

Beautiful sandbar!! Saw a sea turtle!
Reviewed by: Family of Five, 2021/07/11Absolutely beautiful sandbar! Though we were too tired after going there and back, and could not go snorkeling at the other coral sites. Saw a sea turtle really up close at the sandbar and we were amazed. The sandbar was gorgeous and looked like paradise on earth.

Spirit of Aloha Kohala Coast Snorkel Tour with Lunch & Drinks - Hawaii Nautical

Faith and Cole are two of the crew that work on the boat! What great people! We saw a turtle, eel, and spinner dolphins who swam alongside the boat! I definitely recommend this trip for anyone wanting to have a great day!

Great way to end our trip!
Reviewed by: m Faulkner, 2021/07/11We booked this somewhat last minute, trying to find a way to spend our final day on Oahu before our late evening flight - and we’re so glad we did! The crew was terrific - friendly, funny, and safety-conscious. The sandbar was a cool experience with clear water. The tour company provides plenty of floats and paddle boards to occupy everyone, and the snorkel portion of the visit was terrific! We saw plenty of turtles and fish, and it wasn’t terribly crowded. Definitely recommend!

Great Experience! Cage-free is a must!

Best Sandbar experience
Reviewed by: First timers , 2021/07/10Mike and his crew were absolutely the best hosts! They made sure everything was safe and everyone was having a good time. You can tell they love what they do. They are very welcoming and helpful. They interact with their guests on the sandbar and at the reef. It was our first experience on a sandbar and they helped make it very memorable! They offer to take pics for you, they BBQ, and offer drinks (alcohol and nonalcoholic). We will definitely book this cruise again next time we come! Hopefully Mike, Ruth and their crew are available!

Great Ride to the Sandbar

- We enjoyed the options, it was more of a free time at the sand bar situation. If you don't want to snorkel, they leave you at the boat. But, you'll still have access to the SUP and floaties to play at the sand bar. I spent some extra time with the SUP and tossed a football around with some other guys. You can walk around the sandbar and take more pictures. Someone is always around to make sure everything is ok.
- wife went snorkeling, they kindly ask about your swimming abilities and if you're a weaker swimmer they'll keep an eye on you. I also noticed they proactively hover around families with kids incase they needed help.
Everyone felt safe and comfortable the entire time.

Snorkeling adventure!

He enjoyed the boat ride and made it into the water for one snorkel spot! I even got inked on by an octopus! Great day on the water with attentive staff!

Amazing crew but no sight of a fish

If you want to see snorkeling and see fishes, I suggest do either submarine or go the north shore to Shark’s Cove.

Captain Zodiac Kealakekua Bay Snorkeling Tour & South Kona Sea Cave Expedition
The highlight of our Big Island trip!
Reviewed by: MJUm, 2021/07/08We stumbled upon Zodiac Rafting after getting declined at two other places but everyone in our group said they would have regretted going with anyone else!
First of all, they have all COVID safety measures in place. Temp check, all staff with masks, smaller groups so we felt comfortable and safe.
Second, the staff! Jennifer at reception was so sweet and accommodating. And Captain Collen, he’s the best! Knowledgeable and experienced without being overbearing or too chatty. Made sure we had the best ride, safe snorkeling trip, took us to special locations to see the Big Island in all it’s beauty and kept checking that we were having a good time and no one was uncomfortable. And they even provided reef safe sunscreen which we thought ours was but Captain explained it was not. They’re really passionate not only but people having a good time but that the natural life on the Big Island is protected and safe. We really appreciated that.
And let’s not forget, we had a private boat because it was just our family on the trip. So it was even extra special!
So don’t waste your time elsewhere. Just go straight to Zodiac people!

If your doing this for the snorkeling dont do it!!!
Reviewed by: Disappointed, 2021/07/08I paid 93 for the snorkeling thinking it be something to remember.. but the only thing I’ll remember it the waist of money it was my whole family paid and it was a waist. Its a free for all you get trampled and just sucks in all honesty the people are nice and we meet some nice people on the boat but they sell you this amazing experience and its not, you cant see anything at all, if you want to paddle board or go down the slide even kayak this is the place for you but don't do it for the snorkeling it be a waist of money like it was for us … hope this helps another person not make the same mistake we did . Captain Bob , Mike and the rest of the crew were extremely accomodating and courteous. The food hit the spot and the service was great.. This excursion even included transportation to and from hotel at No additional cost. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a snorkeling adventure.

Snorkeling is so much fun!

The crew was so great and was watching the poor swimmers and was always next to us giving instructions and reassurance. I felt so safe and before I realize it, I was able to swim and snorkel with confidence by myself. I had so much fun snorkeling and enjoying the fishes and nature under sea. It was definitely an amazing experience!

Awesome experience!

The Manta Ray's were so cool to see. This should be on your must do activity list. I would recommend it over a regular day time snorkel trip. However, next time I would do the later night time trip. The Manta Rays seem to be more active the later it gets.

Turtle should not be in the title

All this was about was taking a bunch of water toys in the middle of the ocean and playing on them. While we were out there, I asked if we were going somewhere else to see the turtles and was told this is nature. Sometimes you see them , sometimes you won’t. Again, this was not about seeing sea turtles and the title needs to be changed. We paid $150 person to jump off side of boat, jump on trampoline, kayak/paddle board and TRY to snorkel in the middle of all this chaos. Tell it like it is and don’t be devious in the title. The crew was the only reason we have 3 stars and tipped on top of what we already paid. They were very nice. But this isn’t what it says it is. Don’t be fooled.

Whether you're a beginner or a pro kayaker this is a super majestic and beautiful area to experience kayaking. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the area & scenic snorkel spots to paddle too. All the snorkel equipment is included in the rental. I recommend this place highly.
