Grand Circle Island Tour - Volcano, Black Sand Beach, Waipio Valley & Waterfalls
Wonderful Tour and Tour Guide, Exceeded Expectations!
Reviewed by: Justine Z, 2015/05/03It was my first vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii and I booked a full day circle tour with Wasabi Tours with my boyfriend, in order to get acquainted with the island's landscape and popular destinations. Our tour guide, Kala, was absolutely phenomenal! Not only did he show us all of the beautiful sights and landscapes that the island has to offer but he was also an encyclopedia of information! You could ask Kala almost anything about the island and he would almost certainly have the answer. Kala was a historian, a geographer, a geologist, a horticulturalist and even a sociologist all in one! He was a great story teller! Kala was also extremely hospitable, professional, warm, and inviting--right from the start to the end of the tour!Somehow he managed to keep enthusiastic for the 10+ hour long day. Kala mentioned he used to work in the high end resorts in the North Shore and you can really tell that he did, as he provides extremely professional service. He really went out of his way to make sure the guests were all getting the most out of the experience. When we learned the lava was really high in the Volcanoes National Park, Kala made a few separate attempts to return to the site, as the grounds were extremely steamy that particular day. He REALLY wanted us to see the lava, but it is so sad to say the weather did not cooperate that particular day despite Kala's greatest efforts. Despite this bad luck, we were fortunate enough to see all the other beautiful sites that Wasabi tours promises to take you! Finally, to top the day off, Kala knew how much I wanted to see some of the Hawaiian Honu (sea turtles), and he found me some of those as well! Overall, Wasabi Tours does a really great job preparing a fun and informative day for guests. Ultimately, a big thank you to Kala for keeping us entertained and showing us around the tropical paradise of Hawaii!

Morning Whale Watch & Snorkel BBQ Cruise (from Kailua-Kona Pier)
Exceptionally fun!
Reviewed by: dsltx, 2015/05/03This was such a fun expedition with some of the most professional folks ever! Great sense of humor and made us feel very comfortable. This was my first time snorkeling and they went over everything very well. And lucky us - we got to see two whales at the end of the season, no less! I would definitely do this again or one of the other Body Glove activities.

三度めの正直でやっとボートに乗り込みました。同じ時期に来ていた他の外国人も今度はとびたいねって行ってました。思ったよりも高度が高くコナの街を一望しとても爽快でした。45ドル払いYouTubeに動画をアップしてもらいました。クルーの運転はとても上手で待っている間も激しい運転で楽しませてくれました。ハワイカイのパラセイリングよりもいいと思います！

Reviewed by: メルちゃん, 2015/04/26シュノーケリングがやりたくて、このツアーにに参加しました。 ただ８５歳の母を連れてなので、少し心配していましたが、年齢関係なく、楽しむ気があれば誰でも楽しめるように、クルーズのスタッフの方がたが、いろいろな水泳用具を用意してくださり、母も顔に水をつけずに、熱帯魚やサンゴ礁を初めて見ることができ、とても感激しておりました。 私も母を連れて行った甲斐があり、本当に参加して良かったです。 船酔いも心配しましたが、全く大丈夫でした。むしろ、主人は酔い止め薬を飲んで反対に眠くなってしまい、飲ませなければ良かったと後で思いました。 とにかく、楽しい時間があっという間に過ぎた感じで、もう少し楽しんでいたいぐらいでした。

当日、ケアラケクア湾方面は曇り空でしたが 水温は想像より冷たくなく、透明度の良い海でラッキーな事に、大きな亀とも一緒に泳げて満足でした♪
途中、イルカも３度見れてテンション↑スピンジャンプしたり可愛いかったです。
スタッフは英語ですが、愛想も良く優しかったです。日本語の説明書ももらえます。
とにかくオーシャンラフティング最高♪
４０～５０代の私達ですが、大盛り上がりでした♪
酔い止め薬は必須かも。
シュノーケル後、口コミどうり体が冷え切り、寒くて２回目のシュノーケルは断念。帰りは風が冷たく感じるので、女子は厚手のパーカーかウインドブレーカーを１枚と言わず重ね着をお薦めします。
ラフティング中、日差しが強く目にも風が強く当たるのでサングラスをかけてて正解でした。
帰りは特に波が高くなり、かなりボートが跳ねます。それはそれで楽しかったので最高でしたが、腰の悪い方は確かに キツイかも・・・（日本語の説明書にも記載してありましたが）
マリオットホテルからレンタカーで行きましたが、解りやすく３０分も掛かりません。
また利用したいお薦めのツアーです。
次回、また利用します。

Reviewed by: ミッキーママ, 2015/04/23ショー：全体的に良かったです。ダンサーの女性達がとても優雅で見惚れました。英語が解らなかったので、司会の方のジョークが理解出来ず、残念。周りの外人さん達はウケてて楽しそうでした。料理・ドリンク：想像より種類もあり、普通に美味しかったです。マイタイ・ラバフローが美味しかったです。飲み放題でしたが、そんなに飲めない方なので・・・。プレミアムシートのメリットは特に感じませんでした。早い時間に行って、普通席の前列をゲットでぜんぜん良いと思います。ショーは、暗くなるまでに何度か中断します。サンセットタイムで日の入りが近くなった頃を見計らい、ステージに向かって左側のフェンスの方まで行くと海が見え、ヤシの木越しの とても綺麗なサンセットの写真が撮れますよ♪

ハワイ島 オーシャンラフティング＆シュノーケルリングツアー ＜英語ガイド／食事付き＞
初めてでも楽しいシュノーケリング
Reviewed by: MISO, 2015/04/21６０歳、夫婦で参加しました。シュノーケリングは初めてだし年齢的にも心配しましたが、参加経験者のコメントに後押しされ申込しました。日本人は我々２人だけでしたが、スタッフも他の参加者の方々も親切にしてくれたので、英語はわからなくても何とかなりました。
歴史や場所について、シュノーケルやメガネの使い方は、日本語の説明書を事前にくれましたが、読む間もなく出発。シュノーケリングは、インストラクターのワンポイントレッスンだけでも十分でした。アラケクア湾はハワイ島で一番のシュノーケリングポイントらしいですが、魚も珊瑚も種類が多く、いつまで見ていても飽きません。ムラサキウニやバフンウニが大きいことにびっくり。イルカもバッチリ見ることができました。軍用ゴムボートでのラフティングもスリルがあり、大満足。楽しい思い出ができました。
しかし、日焼けには本当に注意が必要です。ゴムボートに乗ってからは、ロープから手を離せなくなるので、乗船前に日焼け止めを全身に塗ることが必須です。私は、足の裏側に塗り忘れ失敗しました。シュノーケリング中に、無防備だったふくらはぎがひどく日焼けしてしまいました。私の日焼け止めは日本から持参したクリームタイプですが、外国の参加者は皆さんスプレー式の日焼け止めを使っていました。SPF100という超強力スプレーもあるので、日焼け止めは現地で買うのがお薦めです。説明書を読み、日焼け止めを完璧に塗る時間を考え、早めにチェックインするのが良いですね。また、ハワイ島に来たら参加したいと思います。

They really think and manage everything with great knowledge and kindness. I felt cared for in every way, even the chocolate cake! The lesson on the stars was fantastic and we all got to use the telescope. Every wish was realized. The only thing we had to do was to be overwhelmed by the mystical magic Mauna Kea!

The staff was very enthusiastic and quick to point out and get us closer to the dolphins and whales that were spotted. It was a real surprise and treat to see a whale breach in early April. The snorkeling spot was beautiful, and my kids loved the high jump and water slide.

not a single attempt to see a whale was made
Reviewed by: DutchCleo, 2015/04/10I was sold this tour as a whale watch & snorkel event, but on the day it was not that (it was a boat ride, piss-up and snorkel). No attempt was ever made to see any whales and it was not billed as such to others on the boat. The barman was very good at selling us all sorts (GoPro hire, sell snorkels, drinks, underwater cameras etc), and lots of people were drinking copious amounts of cocktails and having a fab time. The atmosphere on the boat was great. The boat and equipment was very good (much better than on another snorkel excursion I did earlier that week), staff, facilities & food were good, and the weather was fabulous. I really wanted to see the whales as it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (I live in the UK), and other trips that week had been for whale watching through Body Glove cruises, but not this one. It must have been an unfortunate mix-up through this website

I found this searching the net and thought it would be an awesome experience for both of us whilst on our first holiday together and it was all that and more. The team were super friendly, professional and helpful, making this an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone venturing to the Big Island. Exciting, slightly frightening (sometimes you have to do things that scare you a little...) and a great way to take in all the beautiful surrounding of Hawaii. Hilo was truly beautiful, even if it was a little damp.

Big Island Lei Greeting Service at Kona Airport - Hawaiian Floral Necklace
A Great Welcome to Hawaii

I remembered the nice welcome we had on our first vacation to Hawaii shortly after we were married, and I thought it would be nice to give the whole family a similar experience. Once I found someone to direct me to a possible website, the process was straight forward and easy. What I was looking for was being offered at a discount, and the price seemed right. The instructions were easy to follow, but without mentioning anything to the family, our grandchildren happened to find people holding up our sign first. The hostesses were ready for us with 10 aloha welcomes and beautiful orchid leis (of which 3 were upgraded further, for the mothers). The kids were all pleased and our youngest wore here lei as part of a hairpiece a few days later and it was still looking good. Maybe this isn't needed on each trip to Hawaii, but I'm sure glad I arranged this as a first-time welcome for the grandchildren and their parents. Thanks again for making everything special for our family.

Hawaii Zipline Tours - Big Island Waterfall & Rainforest Zip Adventure

We happened to be there when the owners/bosses were out trying some new things. They took time to talk to us and genuinely solicited feedback that would make this and other tours more enjoyable. They were as friendly and personable as our excellent guides, Tim and Nainoa, jumping in to take photos, check on us to make sure we were having a good time, and to provide local information. Sure, they want more business, but also wanted to make sure we had enough fun that we would be repeat business as well. I'm sold. I highly recommend this zip for anyone looking to have some fun and excitement, see some cool scenery, and chat with a couple of locals.
If you go in realizing this is not constant action, you will enjoy this trip. Remember, it does take time to clip and unclip a group of people, one by one. But, take this time to talk to the guides and other members of the group, and those wait times pass by quickly...plus, you can get some fun stories or facts from the guides. Several of the stops have great views, as well.

Reviewed by: J.O, 2015/03/19ソディアック号で出港して20分足らずで何と鯨の家族とバッタリ遭遇。子鯨がボートの下で泳ぐというビックリするようなハプニングで参加者はじめガイドさんも大興奮。水中マイクで鳴き声まで聞けました。30分程鯨と遊んでから10分ほどボートを進めると別な鯨の家族と遭遇。思いがけない体験ができました。キャプテンクックのモニュメントがある綺麗な海でのシュノーケリングを終えると今度はイルカの大群が現れボートの周辺を泳ぎ、時を忘れて皆で歓声を上げました。今回ほど鯨やイルカと会えることは珍しいとのことですが、思いかけない体験ができ、素晴らしいツアーになりました。
