Obama Tour!

Posted on: 2009/01/11

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Erny was a great guide, and he made us laughing with his jokes for the whole time. This is a great sightseeing tour of the south east side of the island, with a nice touch of Obama facts throughout the tour. We started from Kohala area (Beverly hills of Oahu), then Hawaii Kai, Sandy Beach, Waimanalo Beach, then Pali Lookout, Punchbowl Cemetary and Makiki(?) area where Obama grew up. This is a good first-timer tour.

Thanks Bruce!

This tour was awesome, and Bruce made it pretty interesting for us. The view was just spectacular, and we especially liked the Waimea Canyon. Being from Arizona, we didn't expect to see a similar geographic formation in Hawaii! Do this tour!

Hawaii, Big Island

Spectacular View

Posted on: 2009/01/10

This was a great tour we took in Big Island. We wanted to do some air tour, but my wife was a bit skeptic about the helicopter, so we tried this one. The view of the Big Island from above was just spectacular. We highly recommend this to anyone. The narration was pretty good, too.

This adventure was so much fun!!! Everyone in our group turned into little kids and had a blast. I'll do this again on our next visit to Kauai. Thanks for the good times, guys. Mahalo!

Whales!

Posted on: 2008/12/20

We just came back from our honeymoon in the Big Island. We took this whale watch trip, and I must say this was by far the most enjoyable sailing trip we did in Hawaii. Being Discovery Channel lovers, we were so excited to see the real whales in front of us! We can't wait to go back there someday. Five stars!

Great!

We saw at least three whales in one spot where they were congregating. Such a majestic animal. The captain was funny and informative. The boat is well maintained and in a good shape. I totally recommend this one.

Awesome

Posted on: 2008/12/18

We did a circle island flight, and it was AWESOME. The pilot, Josh was very funny and friendly, as well as his co-pilot ziggy (cute dog). The view from the sky is a lot different for sure. I was able to see all the surfers on the northshore. The sheer vastness of the ocean surprised us. Such an beautiful place. Highly recommended!

Molokai Explorer

Posted on: 2008/12/17

The sea cliffs on Molokai (the tallest in the world!) were just breathtaking. When I saw a waterfall not reaching the ground and instead disappearing into the air, I realized how high the cliffs were. You have to see this. It's once in a lifetime experience.

Some tips:

Don't forget to take motion sickness preventatives before the tour. My girlfriend got a little sick.

Wear black/dark clothes (long sleeves & pants). The reflection of yourself on the window can dramatically change the quality of pictures.

Other than that, DO THIS TOUR!

Great Nightshow

Posted on: 2008/12/13

Me and my girlfriend loved it. We are talking about taking a hula lesson (if it's offered around bay area). The fire dancer guy was awesome. I bet that requires a lot of training.

We had a great time on this luau. Highly recommended.

Unforgettable Experience

Posted on: 2008/12/13

I saw this tour on the guidebook and read great reviews, so me & my girlfriends decided to do this tour. A tip: Wear a lot of layers! It's nothing like tropical hawaii you'd expect on the top of the mountain. It's below freezing point in the morning, so know what you are up to. A backpack should be nice since as you decend, you make several picture stops. You can then take off your jacket and sweaters as you go down.
We had a great time, and this is something I'd never forget. I'd do it again if I had a chance. Thanks!
