Q. Are photo or video services available?
A. No, professional photo or video services are not available, but you are welcome to bring your own camera, just make sure it's strapped on. North Shore Catamaran cannot accept responsibility for damage to personal belongings.
Q. Are you required to wear a life jacket?
A. Life jackets are not required to be worn by adults but they are mandatory for children under the age of 12. Life jackets are available throughout the boat in case of emergency.
Q. Will you get wet on this activity?
A. There's a slight possibility of getting wet when making turns, but the captain will always try to warn the group.
Q. Are we allowed to bring alcohol on the boat?
A. Yes, there is a huge cooler stocked with bottled water and soda on board. You are welcome to BYOB and snacks, but please do not bring your own cooler. Cups and bottle openers are provided. If you bring alcohol, please bring your ID to show the captain.
Q. What kind of boat will be used?
A. The Ho'o Nanea is a 40-foot sailing catamaran designed to cut through the water effortlessly, providing a stable and comfortable ride. The boat has a maximum capacity of 19 passengers, but sometimes sails with less, offering an intimate experience for each visitor. Ho'o Nanea means "to pass the time in peace and comfort," reflecting its smooth handling and relaxing ride on the North Shore!
