Drinks on the beach.....

There are all kind of activities befor the dinner which was entertaining and fun. The food was great and the service was awsome. We enjoyed the whole evening. Thank you for the wonderful time. And the bus-ride was so fun. great employees.

Paradise Cove Luau Nov. 13, 2008
Reviewed by: Brooke, from Kansas, 2008/11/17What an awesome luau! It was our first time to Oahu, and our first time to a luau, and we highly recommend going to Paradise Cove!
The hostess on board our bus (#6) was funny and engaged the crowd. The events leading up to the meal, and show were quite entertaining, and the drinks from the bar were YUMMY!!
I made a bracelet from fresh flowers and TI leaves, and I even got a tattoo.
The show was AMAZING, and the food was quite good, too! We only chose the basic package, with 2 drinks, shell leis, and buffet seating, and were really happy with everything! Buy the photo they take when you arrive...great souvenir!
Can't wait to come back when my kids are a little older - we will definitely bring the family to
Paradise Cove next time!!

Pure enjoyment

A must see for all visiting Hawaii
Reviewed by: Miller's, 2008/09/25The Luau was great. My husband and I were visiting for our honeymoon and the Luau was one of our many excursions. This luau offered games and activities prior to the dinner and show. The entire event was wonderful and the food was good also. I would go again.

Wonderful Experience
Reviewed by: LeBlanc, 2008/07/18I would recommend that anyone at any age range see a luau while visiting Hawaii. Paradise Cove was awesome. The entertainment was magnificant, the staff was very nice, my waiter was shy and asked for his picture not to be posted on the internet :) They feed you a lot of food. VIP is the way to gp because you stay seated, your food is served to you and for a hot afternoon you are under a cover with fans. You have a wonderful sunset view. Just GOOD LUCK if it rains!!

Relaxing, Beautiful, and Fun
Reviewed by: Krystle, 2008/07/16First of all, I highly recommend the v.i.p box. I was kind of expecting an individual booth, but it’s actually an area under a shed seating about 30-40 people (8 people a table). Even though you’re sitting with other people, v.i.p beats getting up to stand in line for food. There would be a staff member serving you, also most important is the weather. A staff member I talked to mentioned that if it happens to rain, the only people that would be covered are people in v.i.p. If it does rain, there would be security guards blocking the v.i.p booth, if anyone with a standard seat tries to enter.
The activities are delightful, the gift shops are great, and I must have spent about 100-130 dollars just on souvenirs. The picture taken of us is beautiful. Going as a couple, 6 drink coupons each were plenty. When you enter you will receive a complimentary drink, so we actually had extra coupons by the end of the. The staffs are nice, helpful, and funny. It was a great luau………..

Great Luau

Highly recommend upgrading it as we did, we were served our food instead of standing in line, we received a photo that they took at the beginning and the drinks were top of the line. We had front row seating! Made it SO much better for taking photos and viewing the performers! SO glad we upgraded it...worth the extra money :)

Loved the Luau!
Reviewed by: M & B, 2008/07/02Several years ago, I went to a Hawaiian Luau...we ate dinner and watched a show...it was alright. PARADISE COVE LUAU was so much more! I loved it! Before dinner, there were several activities we could enjoy, as we drank our "welcome drink" or used our coupons to have some additional pre-dinner drinks. Activities included: canoe rides, spear-throwing, tatooing, flowered headband/bracelet making, poi practice, and dance lessons. The beach and sunset was beautiful. Negatives: Dinner was okay...my boyfriend liked it, but I'm a little more picky... Some (most) of the drinks required more than just a drink coupon (ie. "one coupon plus $3)...kind of misleading.
Overall, I totally recommend this Luau experience!

Great friendly staffs.

There's lots to do, it's well planned, our tour bus leader and driver were well informed, fantastic entertainers, and multi talented. The food was delicious, we did some arts and crafts type things that were fun for everyone and we learned some things about the culture of Hawaii in the most intresting way possible. We were well entertained, and i could not have asked for more! I wouldn't bother to upgrade unless you do the top level ( much better seating)

We bought the Orchiad seats, which were right down the middle in cost, and we couldn't even finish our drink coupons! We had such a great time, taking pictures, eating, drinking, doing the hula... If you go here, you will definatly have a great and memorable time!

Highlight of our Trip

Worth every penny

What a Great Time!
Reviewed by: Michael B, 2008/02/21We went to the luau on Sunday 2/17 and had a wonderful time. We had a rental car so we didn't use the bus shuttle but it is a quick 45 minutes up H1 from Waikiki. We had our sons 19 and 15 and both enjoyed the activities before dinner and the show. Great music, great food...HUGE portions (we purchased the more expensive table service with front row seating which I would highly recommend as the wait staff and cocktail servers are fun and attentive), and a great luau show. When you go to the bar look for the bartender named Lizzie. She makes a superb upscale mai tai. We were seated so close during the show we could feel the heat from the flaming sword performer who was a show stopper...he is amazing. I would recommend and would go again.

First time Luau

Booking through the computer was easy and a card was waiting for us at our hotel with a reminder and pick up time.

Optional transportation from Honolulu is advantageous because the guide promotes partying door to door and the bus driver is the designated driver. Buffet provided sufficient choices for a vegetarian!
