Amazing Surf Sesh!
Reviewed by: Silas, 2015/10/14Did a semi-private lesson with two friends which was perfect. Jordan man, so good, he was an amazing instructor, kind and supportive and super friendly, and he got us all up on our boards and surfing on our own within the first hour. The day was bright, waves were slow but incoming, and the view of Waikiki from the water was unforgettable! Thanks to Hans Hedemann Surf School and HawaiiActivities.com. Ah man, such a great way to spend the morning.

Hans Hedemann is a great school!!!
Reviewed by: Deb & Jim, 2015/08/01I was completely surprised that both my kids were able to surf on the first class. They enjoyed it so much they (the kids) insisted on another session. Their teachers were so good the kids were interested in learning more!!! a big shout out to Travis, Tim and Adam. These young men are wonderful teachers and it was an honor to meet them. Hardworking, talented and yet so humble and compassionate to their culture and environment. It was a wonderful experience! I also want to say the office staff were also very nice. This picture is my son and his teacher Travis on the first session.

Good times

A fantastic time!
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/06/19This was an intense, 2-hour surf lesson that I absolutely loved! The weather was perfect, and catching waves right in front of Diamond Head was amazing.
I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but the group lesson gave you a short intro into surfing and then helped you to ride the waves for the rest of the time. We spent a good amount of time (enough to exhaust me) in the water, with detailed instruction for each of the instructors. I was a bit worried when I got there with the amount of people, as I wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but the staff at Hans Hedemann made this a supa way to spend a Saturday morning.
Huge thanks go out to the surf instructors of the day, so thank you to Shawn, Easton, and Zara for keeping our huge group going for the full 2 hours, you guys were fantastic! A great time that i highly recommend to anyone and everyone visiting Waikiki!

Surfing For Everyone
Reviewed by: Ron Gurtiza, 2010/03/25All the instructors made us feel comfortable and made sure we had fun and guaranteed we would all stand up. I signed up for the 2 hour class. The waves were knee to waist high and be prepared to do a lot of paddling. Everyone in my group stood up on the board. We all started posing for the camera while surfing. Very fun for all age groups. A school of dolphins showed up and jumping along with us. PERFECT DAY!!!!

Reviewed by: Elaine, 2008/03/29All of the staff at Hans Hedemann are just wonderful, from the driver, to the instructor at the shop, all the instructors in the ocean, and even the cameraman! Everyone was just so friendly, laughing and smiling, and making sure we were having a good time. My fiance and I had an awesome time and would recommend this surf school to everybody. The pictures came out great, thank you camera man!
