Nice people - no whales
Reviewed by: smdaniela, 2016/02/13The crew were very pleasant and helpful, somewhat informative. Drinks were available to anyone who wanted them that early in the morning, and there were many who did. Unfortunately,only a few tails sighted. Boat/captain only went about 3 miles out, where every other boat had gone to whale watch - and no one had any luck. I'm guessing a combination of too many boats, too much noise, and the slight delay in migration everyone talked about b/c of el Nino.

Fairly expensive dinner with a far away sighting of whale... Timing is the "Key"
Reviewed by: Whatnao, 2015/01/31It was ok at best. There were three crue members in this activity and beverage(Approx. five kinds of Juice) and Snacks(Chips, Cookies, Apples, and Oranges) were provided. All crue members are friendly and helpful. Clean Deck and Interior.
You hope for the whale shooting out of the water with the earth shaking splash....keep hoping. Animals are unpredictable. We did see them blow air up it, but it was very far away and nothing like the pictures! I think it is all about the "right" timing to see something like "the" picture scene. Not worth the money in my opinion. Although all crues are friendly and helpful, obviously there is nothing they can do about the whales.
