Fun but too short of a tube ride for the cost.
Reviewed by: Travel4fun Group, 2014/07/07This is a good adventure but it's only a 45 minute tube ride. We started with a drive to a scenic spot for pictures then back in the vehicle for a ride to the ditch. We did a short nature walk then got our safety instruction. Finally, we got into the ditch for our ride. It was a lot of fun and going through the tunnels was great. The water moves you along pretty good so you will not need to paddle anywhere. It was just too quick of a ride! After the ride we had lunch. The meal was basic but good. We had a short ride back to the warehouse/office. If you want a relaxing excursion, then this is it, but not your best bang for your buck.

Mountain Tubing Kauai
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/07/15Pretty basic tubing ride, no rapids or anything like that, just float down a drainage ditch basically, the staff even calls it the ditch. Kinda stunk, like sewer, or cows or something...Probably great for kids, but for over $100 per person, not the best activity for the money...

Shorter than expected
Reviewed by: Nicole, 2009/07/21I was disappointed to learn that 80% of ride would be through tunnels - I pictured we'd have some tunnels but mostly be having a nice trip through Kauai scenery. It was still lots of fun though!!
Though the guide said there was over 50 miles of irrigation ditches, but that the tour is only through 2 1/2 miles, so it's not a very long trip. There's a nature walk before hand and picnic lunch after. But for the money, I'd rather skip both those and do the irrigation ride twice, or at least have a much, much longer ride.
I was still pretty fun and I would definitely recommend this to families but it's definitely way expensive for what you get. The water is freezing cold, so be prepared.
