Day trip to Moloka'i with Thadd
The ferry ride over to Moloka'i was peaceful - beautiful sunrise over Maui and a rainbow in the west.
Once on the island, Thadd was a wonderful guide / historian.
Coffee / pretzel was yummy... learning about the macadamia Nut was interesting. The views overlooking Kalaupapa were amazing. Lunch right by the water was beautiful and the hula dancer / waitress was very sweet. Father Damien's churches were beautiful. The beach on the east side of the island was gorgeous.
Thadd always made sure we were understanding and asked on a regular basis if we had any questions.
The sunset heading back to Maui was awesome. There was a storm brewing towards Moloka'i which made the spectacular view.

Haleakala with Glen
We read it was a good idea to do this at the beginning of your trip so you're still on your 'time' due to the early morning time frame. Even though you are going to nice warm Maui, it is very cold up there early morning. You are in the elements for about an hour, bring a jacket, blanket, beach towel, something... It's easier to enjoy the spectacular sunrise if you're not freezing.
Glen was a fun tour guide. We enjoyed our morning with Glen.
The view at breakfast was beautiful.

Road to Hana with Junior
We had a great time. We drove it ourselves the first time we did the Road to Hana and decided to take a tour so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery more. Junior was a great historian / guide. He made the tour even more enjoyable.
