Pearl Harbor
It was a very heart-touching experience we will never forget. We were very happy to be able to visit Pearl Harbor to pay respect for those who lost their lives for our country. We didn't know if we could visit Pearl Harbor from Maui, but we're glad that we found this tour. The guide was very attentive and the whole tour was well organized.

Honua Therapeutic Waikiki Massage & Spa Treatments
Affordable and High Quality
Don't expect a high-end resort spa. If you are looking for spa with pool, sauna, gym, etc., this is not it. HOWEVER, if you simply want to enjoy some high quality massage for an amazingly affordable price, this is where you need to go.
The facility is just a small cozy room, but the quality you will get is more than what you pay for. As advertised, my therapist worked for some other big hotel spa so it's the same quality you will get as you pay double the price, or even more. She said she likes working at this salon because she can really enjoy her work.
I decided to go back again at the end of my stay in Hawaii. This is definitely a hidden secret of Waikiki. I'd recommend their service to anyone who are simply looking for a high quality massage, nothing more.

Kilauea Volcano Doors-Off Helicopter Tour from Hilo [Not Operating]
Lava Hunting!
We did the "Fire & Falls" tour and loved it (although we both got a bit airsick, but that's not the company's fault, that's just because we're prone to it - the other couple with us was fine). I had picked Paradise because it was the cheapest air tour of the volcano (in terms of cost per minute), but I can't imagine why I would pay more for another company because this ride was everything we wanted.
We did the "doors off" tour and it was a 4-person helicopter (not incl. the pilot), so everyone had a fantastic view. I would highly recommend the doors-off experience. My husband is a bit afraid of heights, and even he agreed that doors-off was worth it (but a bit frightening for him). Our pilot was Jesse and he was a lot of fun.
What I loved is that if a passenger spotted lava, our pilot would circle back (as if we were "lava hunting") and make sure that everyone got a view.
The waterfalls portion was brief, and at the end. The main attraction of this tour is the volcano/lava.

Kilauea Volcano Doors-Off Helicopter Tour from Hilo [Not Operating]

Our group of 4 booked a "doors off" helicopter ride through Paradise Helicopters. None of our group had ever been in a helicopter before and this exceeded all of our expectations. The front desk staff was courteous and upbeat. The guy doing the safety briefing was thorough and knowledgeable while infusing some humor into the "speech". Our pilot was Joyce and we could not have asked for a better experience. Because there were 4 of us, we took every seat on the helicopter. We were concerned at first about the view from the front-middle seat, but she could still see everything, though you do miss the experience of sitting right by the window.
Joyce did a great job of going over the different areas multiple times so each side of the helicopter could see what was below. Joyce spoke clearly and slowly and we never had a problem hearing what she was saying and she would repeat the "attractions" for both sides of the helicopter.

Pretty scary!!!
This tour.. was very very scary.. I'm 26 years old, male, pretty healthy, and like the most people, believe in the existence of spirits somewhat, but not really because you've never encountered any.
So me and my girlfriend decided to take on this tour just out of curiosity. Of couse, I brought my digital camera (nothing fancy.. $200-$300 average camera) to this tour... hoping that I'd catch something interesting.
On boy. That night totally changed my perception on spirits/ghosts. I didn't think I'd catch anything, but fortunately or unfortunately, I did. I caught so many Orbs on my camera, that it's just so scary. I thought it was some dust on my lense, so I wiped it. I thought it was some rain drops, but it wasn't raining.
The sites we visited are pretty freaky. So don't bring your small children. They will be traumatized for sure.
If you dear, I highly recommend to go to this tour. You won't regret it. Bring your camera. Set it to 400 or more speed. Highest contrast. You

Early Morning Dolphin Watch Kayak & Snorkel Tour (from Keauhou Bay)
Dolphins!!!!
Even though it was very physically demanding, we got to see wild dolphins really up close. It was just so amazing to see these smart creatures in the wild, not in the captivity. They were pretty fast, so we couldn't keep up with them. I highly recommend this activity to anyone!

Ulalena Night Show at the Maui Theatre (Lahaina)
Beautiful Show
I've seen it several times, and I take my friends every time I visit Maui. Of course, they all love the show! It's always highly recommended, and I'm glad that a high quality show like this one is available in Maui. Go see it!

Awesome
We did a circle island flight, and it was AWESOME. The pilot, Josh was very funny and friendly, as well as his co-pilot ziggy (cute dog). The view from the sky is a lot different for sure. I was able to see all the surfers on the northshore. The sheer vastness of the ocean surprised us. Such an beautiful place. Highly recommended!

Whales!
We just came back from our honeymoon in the Big Island. We took this whale watch trip, and I must say this was by far the most enjoyable sailing trip we did in Hawaii. Being Discovery Channel lovers, we were so excited to see the real whales in front of us! We can't wait to go back there someday. Five stars!
