GREAT DOLPHIN WATCH CRUISE!!!

We seen so many dolphins and we were even fortunate enough to see Bottlenose Dolphins which are much much bigger than the frequent spinner dolphins. Bottlenose Dolphins do not come around the islands very often so this was a real treat, maybe even a once in a lifetime opportunity!!

The crew was very friendly and they held my sister's hand in the water because she is afraid of sea animals. But ONCE she put her mask on and placed her head under the water, it was a whole different world for her filled with beautiful colored fish and a huge reef system that surrounded her.

Wonderful crew, Tasty food, everyone on-board was really friendly and after a nice dip out in the deep blue ocean, you are treated to an open bar. Great Stuff! Thank you Hawaiiactivities.com and Ocean Joy Cruises for a wonderful dolphin watch and cruise!

Family Day at Kualoa Ranch!

We had an amazing day at Kualoa Ranch! I live on O'ahu and I would always drive pass the ranch, so this was my first time EVER to experience Kualoa Ranch.

We did the Movie Sites and Ranch Tour, and got to go inside a huge bunker where Pearl Harbor/ Lost/ Tears of the Sun was filmed. Drove around to a spot where Jurassic Park was filmed, seen Godzillas footprint and other various movie sites. The best part about this tour was being able to go into Ka'a'awa valley, the scenery IS BEAUTIFUL!!!

2nd tour we did was the Jungle Expedition, hold on tight because this is seriously a bumpy ride! We drove up some massive steep hills to get to a lookout for an awesome scenery.. my kids loved it, only downside is..the tourguide did not give us any narrative tour or point out much stuffs. However, my sons did all the talking..they pointed out to other people on the jeep what the Kukui Nut Tree was, Mountain Apples, and other plants.Beautiful views of Mokoli'i Island (Chinaman Hat).

What an amazing night!

I took my sister on this sail last night..and this is by far the best sail (tour wise) this island has to offer. Tropical winds, beautiful deep blue ocean and amazing hawaiian coastal scenery.

Crew on-board both the Spirit of Aloha and Honi Olani are superb and exceed your service expectations. Fortunately, for the adult beverage people, this became an Open bar sail (Beer is usually $1 and mixed drinks are $2) but this is because the boat departed late.

No one comes on-board to get drunk or rowdy..we were all in silent agreement to enjoy our drinks, enjoy our scrumptious dinner and have a wonderful time.. everyone on-board did just that.

Everyone who boarded the vessel were strangers, but we all became friends by the end of the night. Thank You Hawai' Nautical for a wonderful evening of good food, drinks, friendly conversations and laughter.

Luau in the middle of Waikiki

This is a really convenient luau. In good walking distance or a cab ride away from all the hotels and incredibly delicious food. Be sure to get the Golden Circle, because we did and we had excellent front row type of seating. CHECK IN EARLY TO BYPASS THE CROWD!!!

Some bad "Cons" about this is:
there is no good/ romantic picture taking scenery, chairs are situated very close to eachother so your banging elbows with the next person, its on the top of a parking lot structure and its just surrounded by a bunch of buildings.

Staff was friendly, water is always provided, the Food is BETTER tasting from all the other Luau's I have been too.. so that is a plus.

Mommy and Daughter Day!!

It was a wonderful sail and beautiful scenery of Diamond Head, Waikiki and Town. The Captain answered all of my daughter's questions, and let me tell you..SHE HAD A LOT of questions!! She even made friends with another little girl on-board. We didn't snorkel because I am not a great swimmer and the waves looked kinda rough, but its ok...me and my daughter was on the top drinking our Orange and Guave juice and enjoying the breeze, relaxing and taking in the scenery.

The Catamaran was clean, comfortable, and had 2 CLEAN bathrooms on-board (Women and Men). The staff was very friendly, always came around to see how we were doing and offering us anything to drink.. Beautiful way to spend your afternoon.. Well done, Thank you Hawaiiactivities.com and Hawaii Nautical!!

Conqured my fear of Sea animals

Ko Olina Ocean adventures actually placed me on the wrong activity.. I wanted to be lazy, lay around on their catamaran, enjoy the sun , do some leisure snorkeling and drink Instead I was placed on a small ocean raft but I had a great dolphin swim adventure.

We started off checking in, which was actually pretty fast. Waited around for about 25 minutes until everyone was checked in and got on the boat (NO SLIPPERS ALLOWED), this is a barefeet type of activity, they ask that you leave your slippers on the dock.

First snorkeling site is just your normal site, this allows whoever is not familiar with snorkeling to get familiar. My sister and I actually drifted off because we had our head in the water the entire time, and we did not realize how far we drifted away form the boat. Luckily, the crew consists of awesome swimmers and they jumped in to pull us back to the boat. :-)

2nd and 3rd site was our Dolphin Drops, the boat is still moving and you slide off the boat into the wat

Magic of Polynesia

This is my 2nd time to the Magic of Polynesia, but my first time seeing John Hirokawa perform! Absolutely wonderful, wonderful, wonderful show!!! John Hirokawa is sooo hilarious and did a great job keeping everyone entertained. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family to see his show. However, don't do the dinner show, eat at the neighboring restaurants and then head over to the Show.

Good Show, Yummy Food!!

Food tasted absolutely great! Such a fun and exciting show..it was very entertaining, my 5 year old daughter sat through the show entirely without being antsy!!!

Only downside of the whole evening was.. our waitress was really slow. When we asked for juice, it came back watered down because the ice melted (of course 20 minutes later). Instead, we just asked for ice water. This would probably need some improvements.

Everything else was good! Kudos!

Best activity on O'ahu!

I have been to a Luau, Sunset Dinner Cruise, Dinner Show.. quite possibly all over O'ahu! This is by far, the best activity I have ever done. The crew was very friendly and informative..Most of them are interns so they actually do their job for free!

Once we board the Barefoot 1 which is actually a pretty small catamaran but don't let this discourage you because once your on your way to the submerged sandbar..everything is perfect! Imaginine drinking a nice cold refreshment and for you alcoholic drinkers, a nice beer, out in the middle of Kaneohe Bay. Sitting on the Sandbar with the nice breezy tradewinds while taking in all the beautiful views!! TALK ABOUT RELAXATION!!

Once we had our freshly grilled burger lunch at the sandbar, we head pass toward Turtle reef, where we saw at least 10 huge sea turtles! After our minor turtle watching session, the crew took us to a coral reef located at least half a mile away from the Sandbar location, we were the only vessel out there which m

A night at the Magic of Polynesia

I cannot explain how much of a good time we had lastnight! It was so good my husband decided to buy keychains and the souvenir picture just to remember the night! We came on a night John Hirokawa was supposed to perform, but Keith Kabasawa was the Illusionist instead and he was very good, entertaining, and on key with everything!

Magic of Polynesia has everything! Traditional Hula, Tahitian, singing, and Fireknife dancing which was unexpected for me!

My daughter had a wonderful time and she is excited to see this exciting show again! Only downfall is the food was cold by the time it was served to us, and the venue itself is cold, so I would suggest to bring a light sweater to keep yourself warm!
