Fun, interactive, an educational! :)
Reviewed by: Vanessa , 2022/02/05I went to the Polynesian Culture Center with my mom while visiting family in early January. The employees were so kind and the interactive activities were a much fun! Learning how to start a fire with a coconut skin, how to weave, and so many more shows and performances to watch and do! Plus the shopping center out front doesn’t hurt either!

A wonderful tour with a great host!
Reviewed by: APan, 2022/02/03We took the Grand Circle Island Tour with Royal Star on 1st Feb 2022. Our driver and guide was Lola, who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Lola peppered the entire trip with a lot of not so well known facts and trivia which made us appreciate the various destinations on our tour memorable. The itinerary was well planned and there was sufficient time allocated for us to get a good sense of the places we were visiting. We were also treated to delicious poi (Portuguese donuts) for breakfast which was a nice little bonus.
Overall, the tour was fantastic, well worth the time and money. I would highly recommend it for any first time travelers who are looking to get the best of Oahu in a day’s time.

Great way to see the whole island
Reviewed by: C&J, 2022/02/02This was a great way to see the highlights of Oahu in one day. Our driver, Tony was very informative as we rode in his bus. We were vacationing with friends who had never visited Hawaii before so this was the perfect way for them to see the main tourist spots. We have taken a similar tour 19 years ago so we enjoyed refreshing our memories. I was happy that we were able to spend extra time in Haleiwa. It was a fun place to browse the shops and have lunch at a shrimp truck. The stops on the tour gave us ample time to take photos and get out of the bus to enjoy the special places in Hawaii. We really appreciated having a driver and guide who was easy to understand and was knowledgeable about the island. Once you have taken a tour like this , you will know if there are any areas of the island that you might want to visit for a longer period of time and then can return there on your own or on another tour to just that place. Covid restrictions have limited some experiences but that is not the fault of the tour company. I would recommend this tour to others.

Kailua beach was beautiful and I will definitely spend more time at this beach the next time we visit hawaii. We had a great time snorkeling at Moku nui saw lots of fish, sea turtles and monk seals.

A tour you all MUST DEFINITELY do when you are in Honolulu!
Reviewed by: Katelyn Kelel, 2022/01/27Our tour guide Tony was a fabulous driver and narrator. He gave us lots of complimentary water and 2 malasadas, which we found ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The bus was very comfortable with footrest, a lever to recline the seats, and was fully air conditioned.
Two suggestions for improving the tour experience -
1. Little more time needed in Dole plantation, so that people can get to ride the Pineapple Express train and visit the Dole maze.
2. Little more time needed in North Shore to explore the scenic beaches.
Other than that, we enjoyed the tour experience and I highly recommend everyone to take it to explore the wonderful Oahu island.

Best Tour Ever!
Reviewed by: L. Bueno, 2022/01/22We were greeted at the large comfortable motor coach by LOLA. Throughout the day she demonstrated an amazing amount of knowlege coupled with humor about China man's hat, macadamia nut, sugar cane, coffee, pineapple, and coconut farms. The Japanese Temple and coy farm was an incredible sight. We were able to ring the bell for health and wealth then proceeded to the 10 foot gold Buddha. We ate at Shrimp truck which was delicious. We were given time to explore the North Shore town of Halewei. We learned about how the islands became under one ruler and where the original Oahu people were "pushed" over a cliff to their deaths by King Kamehameha. Thoroughly enjoyed the Doke Pineapple Plantation with the delicious dole whips. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST TOUR ON THE ISLAND. LOLA IS #1

Honolulu to Hilo One Day Fly Away Tour - Volcanoes National Park & Waterfalls

Reviewed by: Mike Drinkwater, 2022/01/18It's not hard to complain about things, but honestly, the trip was spot on in most aspects, communication for the most part, although the email said terminal B in Honolulu, and it was actually Terminal 1, but it also put check in at 5:30am, and the flight was actually 7:30am, so plenty of time to adjust. Pick up directions spot on, lunch was provided and ok, I wouldn't write home about it, but there was a lot of walking, so maybe a lite lunch was better.
From a personal stand point, we were only allowed a certain amount of time at each location, I would have spent longer at other locations and less at others, that said, I don't feel like I missed anything, and had I gone on my own, I might have.
So overall, I think it was worth it, I didn't have to worry about booking flights, or getting transportation, lunch, and mapping out where to go, so a lot of headache was saved. I don't think when you book something like this you should expect the greatest trip, they need to balance what works for everyone who will be on that, and in return, we save ourselves a lot of work.
Overall, I would book another tour with Polynesian, it was worth the money.

Fly Shuttle Airport Transportation To and From Waikiki Hotels & Resorts
Outstanding service
Reviewed by: JCAgui, 2022/01/18As soon as I landed I called the service and within a few minutes I was sitting inside a clean large van with the AC keeping me nice and cool. The drive to the hotel was quick and I even got a few food pointers.
On my departure, my ride arrived earlier than I expected, which was great because I didn't want to deal with the long lines at the airport. It was new years and I was really excited that I had a service that was there for me. I got to see some of the fireworks as we were arriving at the airport which made for a great departure. Thanks again for all the great service!

Great splurge for Hawaii arrival!

We met the greeter at baggage claim and they had sign waiting with my name. We were escorted to the limo and it was super nice. Perfect start to a staycation!

Great if you want to see some of Oahu but don't want to spend a full 8-10 hours on a regular full circle island tour. We ended at Kakaako to take photos of the street murals. We opted to stay in Kakaako (only 3 miles from Waikiki) for lunch & catch our own ride back. Would recommend!

You can use bikes, kayaks, surf boards, snorkeling gear and more!! Also, they have free parking. This is an activity you should definitely do when coming to Hawaii.

Reviewed by: Clarisse, 2022/01/17Overall, this is the best tour for anyone wanting to see the major highlights of Oahu with wonderful opportunities to enjoy Hawaii's culinary delights. Our family has been to Oahu at least 4 times, so we thought we had seen it all, but this tour really allowed us to appreciate the beautiful island of Oahu even more. Our local tour guide, Tony, was very kind, informative and funny and really treated us like "ohana." He definitely made the tour memorable. He shared a lot of great recommendations! We loved the subtle but impactful hospitality touches of the tour, such as the free water bottle and malasada.
What we really loved about the tour was having a variety of stops that allowed you to appreciate the surrounding nature, history and food of Hawaii. There is something for everyone!
For the ocean lovers, make sure to sit on the passenger hand side of the bus because you will have ocean views throughout the journey. The stops at Hanauma Bay and the Pali really help you appreciate the lush surroundings.
For foodies, not only do you get a taste of the poi malasadas from Kamehameha Bakery during your journey, but you get to visit: 1) Tropical Farms where you can taste and purchase locally grown macadamia nuts, coffee and other island delights. Our favorite flavors of the macadamia nuts were the cinnamon glazed and maui onion. 2) Haleiwa town where you can enjoy the delicious garlic shrimp. We went to Camaron Shrimp Truck which serves theirs peeled with rice, salad and a slice of fresh pineapple. I really loved the coconut shrimp which comes with a side of the garlic sauce. The shrimp was crispy and scrumptious! 3) Dole Plantation where you can try their world famous Dole Whip! We got a cup of Dole whip with fresh pineapple topping each bec it's too good to share. Make sure to line up when you arrive because it gets busy!
For newbies, this tour is a great way to see it all in one day.

The Polynesian Culture Center is a must see!!

There is rich culture and knowledge and pride to be embraced. The tribes are welcoming and the proceeds go toward supporting the local college students. They engage the crowds and make it fun. The food and entertainment is amazing. There are several local artists with shops for souvenirs to take home. I’ve made it a point to visit the center every time I’ve visited the island and it’s always amazing.

Must not be missed
Reviewed by: Linda Daxon, 2022/01/14You havent really been to Hawaii until you've done the Big Island Tour and seen Volcano National Park. This is how it all got here: volcanoes. We got to go right up to the edge of the Kilauea cauldera, saw many steam vents and walk through the 1/3 mile long Thurston Lava Tube. The whole Big Island is so different from Oahu: much less build up, black sand beaches, unbelievably thick tropical rain forests. Guide Hugh was born and raised on the island and is incredibly knowledgeable. I am so glad I sloted this day into my itinerar. Highlight of my trip.

Amazing tour!!!
Reviewed by: Debranma , 2022/01/10My three teenagers and I had a great time visiting all of the places that Hawaii has to offer. Besides all the pretty places we loved learning about the history of Hawaii, our bus driver was very nice and very knowledgeable. My favorite part was definitely the breathtaken views everywhere.
I would recommend to other people doing the tour, to have good night sleep the night before, so you dont fall asleep and miss part of the fantastic ride around the Island.
The tour does have a bunch of stops and the driver will give you enough time on each one of them.

Best Christmas lights tour & Birthday fun!

Before the ride they had the grinch and Santa’s elves passing out candy and provided picture taking with Santa, the grinch and elves which the kids loved. Because of covid there weren’t many lights on the buildings but our driver was awesome and sang a bunch of Christmas carols with us the whole ride. Then when we stopped at the honolulu hale the driver came up to the top of the bus and had the whole bus singing happy birthday to me.. Best surprise birthday ever and everyone in my family had a great time and will definitely book again. Mahalo to the driver!

North Shore Off-Road Tour Expedition from Haleiwa
Best Experience on the Island
Reviewed by: M Garcia, 2022/01/09This was our top experience we had on the island. The tour was beyond fun, like Indiana Jones in real life. The info our guide had on the flora and fauna was amazing. Seeing the farmland and the plants were amazing and it was great to get some history and culture along with it. We got stuck in the mud but had a great time regardless. Just really helped to give us a full experience. Highly recommend for any who wants to go a little off roading and see some great views.
