Awesome Day!
Reviewed by: Greg Raymer, 2016/11/06I always wanted to check out the Turtle Canyon, and, on this particular trip, I was able to. My only complaint was that it was on the western edge of Waikiki Beach, which was somewhat inconvenient. In a perfect world, it would have been placed in the center of Waikiki's hotel row. I boarded the catamaran and was greeted by a very friendly and personable crew. Once on board, the staff gave us a safety briefing, then explained the protocol for snorkeling the area. Once we arrived at our destination, the captain dropped anchor and the group was off. It was not long before someone spotted some turtles. All of us watched in awe as we observed their underwater universe. We were in the water quite a while before the captain signaled us to come aboard. Then, we were treated to a magnificent sailing past Diamond Head and around Waikiki Beach. Between the snorkeling (an excellent exercise for me), the turtles and the sail, it was a perfect afternoon for me. I was back in time to go with my friend for evening entertainment. This is one of the top three activities you must do before you leave Hawaii. It is truly a magical day!

お手軽にシュノーケリング
Reviewed by: tamutamu, 2016/11/04ハワイでは初めて家族でシュノーケリングしました。出船がホテルの目の前からなのでノースショアなどわざわざ行かなくてもお手軽に楽しめます。驚いたのは、ウミガメが目の前を群れなして泳ぐ姿が観れたこと。シュノーケリングしなくても帆に風をいっぱいに受けての疾走は爽快でした。

日本人ので参加者は私1人でしたが、気持ち良い風に吹かれてのクルーズに、シュノーケリングポイントではたくさんの亀を間近で見る事が出来ます。

AMAZING
Reviewed by: Heather, 2016/09/26This was arguably one of the best things we did this trip!! Our crew was AMAZING! So friendly, patient and helpful. I can't say enough good things. I've never snorkeled before, I'm not a strong swimmer so I kind of panicked when I was just our in open water even with the group. The crew member leading us to Turtle Canyon saw me struggling, came over and swam me there where I became just mesmerized by how close we were to the fish & turtles I calmed down enough to actually snorkel! She also took my camera down and got crazy awesome pictures. Food was great, drinks were delicious, the sail was beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about this excursion. Worth every penny! Cannot wait to snorkel again!

ウミガメに会えるツアーですが熱帯魚は・・・。
Reviewed by: ジュリ, 2016/09/22水の透明度は、まーまーでした。海の底は何とか見えたり見えなかったりです。熱帯魚は大きめな魚がチヤホヤ程度で、期待はしてはいけませんが、ウミガメが目の前に現れました。これは今までのシュノーケリングには無かった経験でした。ウミガメを見たい方はお薦めです。受付の場所が分かりにくいのと、受付の案内をするお兄さんが英語のみで、わかりにくかったので、この評価にしましたが、この辺りを気にせずウミガメを見たい場合は手頃です。

Reviewed by: Meg, 2016/09/20Unfortunately, on the day I arrived with my booking we were turned away, even though I had a printed booking for the trip and reference number. The Catamaran company had not had confirmation from Veltra sent through. They could have called to check but they did not seem interested in doing so. To be turned away was was embarrassing and disappointing as this was a birthday treat for that particular day.
We called Veltra and they did apologise for the misunderstanding and booked us on the next day. We had no issues the next day and I must say had a wonderful time. It was just lucky we had another free day.

We had a blast!

The crew was great - one member stayed by my son in the water until he was comfortable, and then dove down to get cool stuff off the sea floor to show him. The sailing portion was a blast. They let my son drive the boat which will be an awesome memory for him. I would definately do this again.

Reviewed by: Linda, 2016/08/20This would have been a great snorkel adventure if there weren't so many people on board. It was impossible to view turtles. We were told to stick together and when the crew member who was in the water with us alerted us about a sighting everyone would swim over towards the turtles and you would either get kicked or shoved aside. Finally my granddaughter and I gave up and swam back toward the catamaran and we saw plenty of fish. The lunch was a lot better than the catamaran snorkel sail I took her on last year while she was here visiting. But they had a lot fewer people and we were able to snorkel and see turtles without being run over.

Okay but probably better to spend the extra money.

The swimming was pleasant enough and we did get to see turtles up close which was definitely the point but the water was quite cloudy and visibility was a bit too low for you to really see much. Not the tour companies fault at all... you get what you pay for.

Packet snacks like chips and candy were provided on board. You just have to pay for drinks (even bottled water). I would suggest bringing your own water.

Snorkel with Honi Olani
Reviewed by: Pigalicious, 2016/07/16The Hawaii Nautical Honi Olani was a great snorkeling adventure. On my trip we saw 5 turtles. I was very impressed by the snorkel guides knowledge of the turtles and where to go to see turtles. While in the water they pretty much gave you the ability to swim freely and explore the cannel. If you swam or drifted to far the snorkel guide would keep an eye on you and ask you to swim in. I felt very safe and knew that if anything happened the boat crew and snorkel guide would be there immediately. I would also like to give the boat crew an appreciation shout out for picking up beach balls and trash that were floating in the ocean. I am very pleased to see that they our environment. If you are looking for a relaxing snorkel adventure where you can see sea creatures in their natural habitat I would definitely recommend Hawaii Nautical Honi Olani.

All Around Great Experience

The actual snorkeling was fun and we saw several green sea turtles but the waters were crowded with too many other vacationers. The deli style lunch with bar was perfect for this event. The sail back to the marina was great fun!

Reviewed by: naoto, 2016/07/10天気が非常によかったです。カタマランでクルージングしますが、風も非常に気持ちよかったです。乗船後30分くらいでシュノーケルする場所に到着し、泳ぎ始めましたが、普通にウミガメも1mくらいの距離のところで泳いでいたりしました。
魚もたくさんいて、海もきれいでした。日本人は僕ら以外にはいませんでしたが。。。

Absolutely awesome!

Hawaii Nautical Waikiki Deluxe Snorkel with Turtles Tour from Kewalo Harbor
Snorkeling and Turtle Spotting with supplied lunch

Nick the Captain and his 2 crew were excellent hosts, safety conscious and went out of their way to make the cruise enjoyable for the 2 couples on board. Normally there would be a few more people on the cruise but we lucked it that day
The cruise consists of a 15-20 minute cruise in a catamaran to an area well off Waikiki Beach known as a spot where Turtles come to have parasites removed by fish.
We then went snorkeling (flotation vests supplied and mandatory to use). One of the 3 crew on board was in the water acting as a guide and safety person. He quickly located some turtles and directed us to them. We saw numerous turtles, some small, some larger in the water below us and on the surface.
After the snorkeling we had the supplied lunch, basic but adequate although the bread rolls were a bit stale. Free soft drinks and 2 free alcoholic drinks if you wanted them included.
Then the crew set the sails and we cruised around up towards Diamond Head before heading back to port. All up a great trip and worth doing, recommended.
