Great Value, tons of fun with a minor annoyance

Overall, this experience was awesome! The sandbar was about a 3 mile kayak away from where you dock. Not super difficult, took us about 30-40 minutes to get there and once we did, it was awesome. the tide was a little high, the water went up to just below my neck and I'm 6 feet tall. We went out at 11 am. There's not much to see snorkel-wise at the sandbar, which was relayed to us by the staff setting us up. It was just a nice place to stand in the middle of the ocean and have a snack or two. They were also clear on where go on the sand bar and where the restricted zone was.
After the sandbar we went out to the coral reefs just around the corner of where we started. By then though, the sun wasn't too bright (it was a gloomy-ish day). we could only see maybe 10 feet in front of us in the water and all the fish were either hiding or just not there. Coral was nice to see and swim around though. Saw sea turtles in the distance but none in the water while we were in it. Finding the snorkel zones were actually pretty difficult. We spent about 20-30 minutes finding good spots, but there are no markers out there so I'm not even sure if we were in the spots they marked on the map. Only 2 other kayakers came to this area, tried looking around but all gave up after maybe 5-10 minutes.
Still had fun overall though, would do it again. Hopefully they add markers out of the water next time though.

Pleasant time on the waters

Pleasant time on the waves in the sun and breeze. Sadly, almost no fish, no turtles, but interesting pink and white sea cucumbers (apparently unique to Kaneohe and Pearl Harbor). Would do it again, but don't need four hours....

I'm sorry to hear that most of the marine life (except for the conspicuous sea cucumbers) was a little shy for you. Although there is a lot of marine life out there in Kane'ohe Bay, what you see is always hit or miss and involves being in the right place at the right time. But we certainly hope to see you again soon to get back out there and find some of those sea creatures! And glad to hear other than that it was still overall a good experience. Mahalo!

到着２日目に体験しました。
夫婦と９歳の娘の三人で一度に体験できました。今までは一人か二人乗りだったので、三人で初めて乗れてよかったです。
思ったよりも大きな船で、沖まで行き体験しました。
ほか二グループと一緒でした。
高さも１５０メートルと高く、最高の景色が見れました。
誤算だったのは、停泊中は船が少し揺れ、ｾｲﾙ中も船に引っ張られるというよりは、繋がっている状態だったので波、風の揺れを感じ、
船酔いしてしまったことです。
でも、素晴らしい景色と体験が出来ました。

子供の頃、スカイダイバーが活躍するアメリカ製のTVドラマを見て、ずっと憧れていたスカイダイビング。自分が体験出来るとは思ってもいませんでした。以前、ハワイを訪れた時(30年以上前)には、まだ存在しなかったアクティビティでしたし。その後、日本でこのアクティビティを紹介するTV番組も増え、また国内でもタンデムが出来る空港も出来ましたが、やはり飛ぶならハワイの空と決めていました。年齢制限まであと10か月の今月、ハワイに行く機会に恵まれ、迷わず真っ先に申し込みました。体験直前もハラハラドキドキは全く無く、ワクワクが止まらない状態でした。結果はもう、気分最高！の一言。知人、友人には呆れられてはいますが。

Must Do in Hawaii!

My boyfriend and I visited Honolulu for a week to celebrate my 30th birthday. With so much to do on the island, it can be overwhelming to choose the right excursions, especially if you’re only there a few days. This was hands-down the most fun thing we did the ENTIRE trip! The crew and captain were so accommodating and cool. It’s definitely worth the extra cost to do the banana boat or tube ride ;-)
The awesome crew, live music and activity options for the sandbar make this perfect for solo travelers, couples or even families. Do not hesitate to book!

どれも初めてでした。
緊張と楽しみとドキドキしながら集合場所へ向かいました。
こちらのミスでジェットスキーどバンパーチューブを間違えて予約していましたが、すぐに変えてくれました。
説明も日本語で話してくれて時々ジョークも交えて笑わせながら楽しませてもらいました。
とにかく楽しくて、トライして良かったと思います。

初めてのサンセットクルージング。
以前ディナークルーズに乗ったことはあり、今回も主人が乗った事がなかったのでディナークルーズにしようと思っていました。
ですが、サンセットクルーズに乗ってみようという事で、早速申し込みました。
受付を済ませ時間になり乗船。
私達以外は外国の方ばかりでしたが、皆さんそれぞれ楽しみ、マイタイで乾杯しながら出港。
海側から見るワイキキビーチ、ダイヤモンドヘッドの反対側。そして昼間体験したアクティビティから見えた山など、すごく良かったです。
もちろん沈みゆく太陽、綺麗でした。
BGMも主人の青春時代の曲で、それも良い思い出になりました。

I think more variety of food, the free alcoholic needs more alcohol. The guy who goes around collecting trash missed us not once but twice. We waved at him several times but he still missed us.
Aloha Val, I'm sorry we didn't have enough of a variety of food to your liking. We couldn't serve you a completely authentic Hawaiian food buffet because you probably wouldn't eat it. We had to do more of a local variety of island favorites to have more of a Hawaiian/American buffet. We offer baked fish, grilled boneless chicken, kalua pork(cooked in the imu, or underground oven), and teriyaki beef along with a fruit salad, macaroni salad, pineapple cole slaw, white rice, plus lomi salmon,& poi(a hawaiian staple)....sweet rolls, and couple desserts. Truly that is quite a variety of food. Not sure how much alcohol you expected,...but we have had some feedback about certain drinks being too strong, so I'm surprised. I'm not sure why the guy collecting the trash missed you, but I apologize for him. Thank you so much for your feedback, and hope that you will one day return to our island and our luau again!! ボートで沖に出るまでも高スピードでスリリングです。数組の人達と同乗の為順番待ちしている時の方がボートのスピードに恐怖がありました。飛んでいる時はとても楽しく優雅な気持ちになります。
アッという間のフライトでもっと飛んでいたいと思いました。
写真データーを購入しましたが、期待以上の画像に感激でした。

We had so much fun!! Everyone was very friendly and the people on our boat group made it extra fun! I just wish it was longer than 3 hrs. My husband and I had a great time snorkeling! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants to go to the sandbar! I love that they also allowed us to bring a cooler and drinks!

アクティビティが充実！

今回は、午後に参加しました。というのも、サンドバーが見られるのが干潮の時ということで、時間を確認したところ、その日は午後が一番良かったからです。
が、砂浜は現れず笑
というのも、本当にタイミングが大事なようで、干潮のタイミングでも季節が違うと砂浜に上がってというのができないようです。（残念）
しかし、関係なしに、このツアーではアクティビティが時間の許す限り楽しめます。SAP、カヤック、シュノーケリング、ビーチバレーなど遊び放題！特にシュノーケリングはサンゴ礁に魚がたくさん集まるポイントで、これは他のビーチに比べてもとても良かったと思える点です。
砂浜自体は白いので、水位がある程度下がれば、とても綺麗な場所でアクティビティを楽しむことができるので、景色を楽しみつつ、海でのアクティビティには最高の場所でした！

今回初めて、私、妻、25歳の娘の家族３名で「カタマラン号」に乗船しました。控えめに申し上げても「最高」でした。幾度となく訪れているハワイ、ワイキキビーチを散歩するたび毎回のように見掛けていた「マイタイ・カタマラン号」、あまり気も留めずに船の前を素通りしていました。ハワイ通の友人から「カタマラン号に乗った事ある？」と尋ねられ「知っているけど無い」と答えると、「何しにハワイに行ってるの！カタマラン号に乗らないとハワイは始まらないよ！ハワイに行った意味がないよ！」と友人、まぁまぁ大袈裟な話と思っていましたが、やけに熱く語っていたのが気になり一度乗船を試みるのですが、その年(コロナ禍前の2019年)は連日予約完売で乗船出来ずでした。次回ハワイに行く事ができれば、絶対にカタマラン号に乗る！と決意し、今回は航空券の予約とほぼ同時期に予約をしました。
2022年8月上旬予約当日、集合時刻にシェラトン前のビーチにある受付に行き
バウチャーで予約確認、その後、砂浜に乗り上げた形で留っている「カタマラン号」へ裸足で波打ち際を歩き船に砂を載せないよう注意深く乗船します。2人の頼もしい操船スタッフが手際よく出航させるのですが、船が砂浜から「すーっ」と離れ船が完全に海に「ふわー」と浮いた瞬間から非日常的な感覚とワクワク感が襲ってきます。これがハワイ通の友人が言っていた事なのかと納得。カタマラ号はビーチ付近のサーファー達に気を配りながらゆっくりと沖合へ進み、しばらくすると帆を上げスピードアップ、ワイキキの街並みやダイヤモンドヘッドを今まで見ていた逆の目線、海からの景色に感動します。操船スタッフからドリンクが用意できていますとアナウンス、そして船上で家族で乾杯。青色の海、青色の空、ハワイの香り、潮風の音、アップテンポなBGM、帆がなびく音、それぞれが相まって私の語彙力では表現出来ない何とも言えない極上の時間です。
暫くするとイルカ達がカタマラン号と一緒に遊ぶ姿を見せてくれました。
太陽が水平線近づき、次第に船が沖合からビーチが近くになるのが残念に思えます。サンセット、日没と同時ぐらいにワイキキビーチへ戻りカタマラン号のクルーズは終わりとなります。次回またハワイに行く事が出来れば必ずカタマラン号に乗船します。

Amazing Way To End Vacation

This was the best way to cap off our O'ahu vacation by having a relaxing snorkel, a crazy banana boat ride, easy paddle boarding and just chilling in the ocean surrounded by some of the most gorgeous scenery you could find anywhere. The crew were fantastic and so friendly, they were patient with everyone and even got to chat with Preston about him moving from Mesa, AZ (we're from Scottsdale, AZ). If we are ever in O'ahu again, we are absolutely doing this as it was so fun an easy and one of the most enjoyable things we did while on the island. Definitely worth our money and time - give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

One of the best things I’ve ever done. The captain and her mate were exceptional! They talked us through our fears, educated us about the sharks, and we got to see sharks- loaaads of sharks! Right there. I’m all their beauty. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it - just do it. Nothing to fear. All safe and just an experience of a lifetime!

Our guide was the nicest and most welcoming guide with a good sense of humor. He also took so many photos and videos of us along the way and AirDropped them to us afterwards without anyone even asking him too. Also the ATV riding was awesome and everybody needs to make sure they take a turn to drive. Just don’t be like my wife and wear a white tee if you ever expect to wear it white again as the red dirt will do a number on it. 100% we will be doing this again next time we are in Hawaii and will recommend this to everyone.

13歳の姪っ子の希望で150mのコースを申し込みました。ビルの5階くらいの高さということで最初は不安でしたが、風が安定していたのもあり思ったより怖くなかったです。景色はもちろん最高！！ガイドさんは冗談言って絡んできて、船の上も楽しめました。自撮り棒を持って飛べます。
集合場所が分かりづらいなと思っていましたが、最終案内にGoogle mapのリンクを送ってきてくれたので、迷うことなく到着できました。
なかなかできない経験だし、やって良かったです！オススメ！

This was the most amazing thing to do. My sister and I really enjoyed the ziplining with the two girls we had guiding us through it. What a most beautiful hot day to sweat. But the zipling was a very good experience I would suggest anyone go do it now! It's so fun! There's so much to do there besides zipling too.

ワイキキにかかる虹。
波しぶきを浴びて大笑いしたり、大合唱が始まったり、
とても楽しい時間でした。
濡れる可能性があるので参加には濡れていい服で、
貴重品は防水バッグに入れておくといいですね。
収納場所がありましたが波を受ける可能性もあるので。
次回のハワイでも絶対参加しようと思います。

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

My friends and I had the most amazing and fun experience with Justin, Jeff, and Sailor Jerry!! We got to see the beautiful island from miles off the coast and into the deep blue waters. The waves were big and exciting, and if you’re in the right spot, you’ll get soaked! The alcohol wasn’t just one big jug of Mai Tai or beers, they had an amazing selection and the best bartenders who made the excursion so special and memorable. I would definitely take this cruise again and again!

受付で名前を言い、30分程待機。
その後、乗船し出発しました。
荷物は基本的に船に置いとけるので問題はなし。
写真は最初『40＄で撮ってあげるよ』と言われ、思い出にお願いしました。
少し逆光が多めでしたが(笑)、いい写真もたくさんありました。逆光もいい味が出てました(笑)。
たくさん者を撮っていただいたので満足です。
パラセーリングも英語での説明だったので少し不安でしたが、スタッフに任せて、されるがままスタートしました。とても高く上がり気持ちよかったです。最後に足先を海につけられたり、遊び心があり良かったです。
大きく濡れたり顔が濡れることもないです。

That is important because you are correct, there aren't really any signs or many markers out there. Sadly we're not permitted to put anything like that out there. Most of the reefs only have very basic reef markers that are installed by the State's Division of Aquatic Resources, and us putting any other signs or markers out there would be strictly prohibited.
