私たちはよく旅行最終日に参加します。
ビーチでサンダルを脱いで乗船になり、カタマラン内では裸足です。
波によってはビチャーッ❗なんてことも……
日焼け対策はしっかり！
運が良ければホヌ(海亀)も見れます。

自分がカタマランは乗ったのは随分前で久々の参加でした。
この時期は天気の心配はあまりしなくていいとは思いますが、ハリケーンもあったのでハワイに着いてビーチの様子を見たくて、直前の予約となりました。
予約は前日でも大丈夫で、即OKのメールがきました。当日のチェックインも問題なかったです。
乗船は膝くらいまで濡れる感じで、サンダルは乗る前に砂を落としておくルール。座席は自由な感じで、早い者勝ちだけど譲り合いながら。
出航して沖に出ると風を受けて進みます。前方はかなり波を被りますが、それがカタマランの楽しさ。
この日はビーチだと穏やかでしたが、沖は結構な波で、滑空するように波を乗り越えます。
前半はかなり激しいアクティビティでしたが、後半の帰りはダイアモンドヘッドやワイキキの街並みを眺めながら、穏やかなセイリング。
いい写真撮れました。
難点は開催場所。
昔の記憶でシェラトンの辺りに向かうとプールの辺りから通り抜けられず、駐車場の方から大回りしてたどり着きました。
カイマーケットか、プールあたりからはいけそうなんですが、シェラトンの宿泊者限定っぽい感じで。
ルート案内がもう少し情報があれば。

楽しめました

ホノルルのホテル オークラ 札幌、ダイヤモンドヘッドなどを海から眺めたうと思い、参加しました。
少し沖に出るだけで、海の色がオーシャンブルーに変わり、素敵なクルーズを楽しめました。
ソフトドリンクだけと案内がありましたが、船上ではアルコール飲料も提供されてましたよ。
事前の免責同意書、ヘルスチェックはWebで済ませておく方が、面倒がありません。

波かぶりがスリリング
Reviewed by: 杏 COCO, 2023/06/27天気も良く岸辺の波は大したことはなかったのですが、沖合に出てマストを上げて航行が始まったころから何が高くなり始めてバッサーンと波を被りながらのヨット体験はとってもスリリングで楽しかったです。
結構濡れましたが岸に戻るころにはすっかり乾いていました。
もう少しお値段が安かったら（とてもHawaiiらしくて）毎回乗ってもいいねと主人と話しています。

Wonderful
Reviewed by: DLW, 2023/05/13Our family -seniors and adult children-were delighted with the sunset sail. It was the best thing I did in Oahu. We learned about Hawaiian values, the significance of the leis, danced some hula steps, and the men pounded taro. It was fun, staff was excellent, and we ended with a chant to the sunset. Everyone was so glad we did this. Highly recommended.

This is a MUST - don’t hesitate
Reviewed by: Valerie, 2023/02/27This was a charming, intimate, beautiful, culturally informative, entertaining, and interactive experience from end to end. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My husband and I embarked on the sunset tour and I will save up my dollars and do it again in the future. The 4 person crew covered more things than I expected. They are very passionate about their home and it’s history, and educate and support many different people besides tourists.This is a good way to start a visit to the island as it will add more perspective to your visit overall.

Highlight of my holiday!
Reviewed by: Rohario, 2022/11/03What an amazing way to culturally connect with the indigenous peoples of Hawaii by sailing the beautiful waters like how our ancestors did. Amazing stories, singing, food and interactive activities and seeing the dolphins and honu (turtles) swimming alongside our wa’a (waka/ boat) was magical! We were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly and relaxed hospitality. Definitely recommend this to people who are looking for an authentic, educational and fun experience of Hawaii. The 8am morning sail is worth it!
Reviewed by: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/09/29Yes, it's early. But, we LOVED the early sail. Less boats on the water and calmer ocean conditions. If you're looking for a unique cultural experience, this is it. We did the morning cruise and were the only 2 guests on the boat which was really cool. The boat limits capacity to 6-guests. As a local resident, I really liked how the two main hosts of the cultural experience and the Captain were Kamehameha graduates. This boat also offers midday cruises and sunset. Overall, the morning sail was calm and one of the truly unique sails here on Oahu.

子供からご年配の方までみんなで楽しめます！
Reviewed by: コナコーヒー, 2022/09/2213時出発のカタマランに夫婦で乗船させて頂きました。赤ちゃん連れのファミリーから高齢のおじいちゃんまで色んな国の方々が乗船して１時間半かけてワイキキからダイヤモンドヘッド近くまで行った後、カカアコウォーターフロントパークが見えるくらいの沖合西へ行ってから戻るコースです。波が高いと結構揺れてスプラッシュも何度かありスリル満点で海から見る景色は最高です！あまり濡れたくない方は後ろ寄りに座るのがオススメ。カタマランの男性クルーがとても親切で、足の悪い高齢のおじいちゃんを常に気にかけてあげたり、最後下船する際も滑らないよう手を取ってゆっくりタラップ降りるフォローされていたのが印象的でした。

海から見るワイキキのホテル群は最高！！
Reviewed by: カツオ, 2022/09/10日本人は我々位でしたが、ハワイ在住の女のコたちの一人が結婚するとかで10人位でお祝いにて乗船しておりました。良い思い出です。船は揺れも少なく船酔いは心配ありません。ハワイのビールは４から5ドルでよく冷えてます。乗船時は裸足ですのでマリンシューズは必要ありません。日焼けは注意です。乗り場はシェラトンとハレクラニの間。受け付けの女のコは日本語はNGですがフレンドリー。

Amazing crew and incredible experience!

The day we boarded was just myself, my partner and another family of four, which made it a very relaxing and peaceful day experience. The music, food, and history was something we will never forget. Even though the water was calm that day, don’t forget dramamine if you get easily sea sick like myself! I felt so bad for probably looking so uncomfortable, because it’s absolutely a once in a lifetime experience! We are so grateful for the chance to have been on board with them.

Great time on the water

Very chill and relaxing. My family was terrified when taking off but absolutely loved it once we were out there they didn’t want to come back on land we got to see turtles it was an amazing experience and awesome pricing . Definitely recommend! 5/5

They explained to us always what to expect. They let us experience the waters of the ocean by putting our feet in as we cruised in the sailboat and listened to music. The ambiance felt great and soothing. They also took us turtle watching and got to see some beautiful huge sea turtles. We also enjoyed the splash of the waves while we sat on the net of the sailboat, my boys enjoyed that so much and it kept them refreshed! And the best part is the dip in the water, so refreshing and wonderful experience for those who wanted to take a a quick dip. I’m so thankful to Jenna as she took good care of the group, while The cruise driver was always so detailed in explaining everything we would see and do. They both went above & beyond. Best experience ever!!! Mahalo!!!!!
