Most unique experience ever

My son had a phenomenal time and can’t wait to go again. I have issues snorkeling but I was hopeful I wouldn’t have issues with this. Let’s just say I am extremely thankful that I did it once and that the staff was so very patient and helpful with people like me (who have water issues). I can’t say enough about how great the people are who work this tour and everyone should do it (at least once)

Honolulu Snorkeling Tour with Underwater Scooter - Trident Adventures

This is a great, fun tour for groups and solo travelers alike. The staff is super friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure your experience is top notch. The diver propulsion vehicles are an extra bonus that no other tour operator offers that set apart Trident Adventures from others. Will definitely do again upon my next visit to Oahu.

80代の家族と一緒に参加しました。とても楽しめたようでよかったです。
スタッフや参加者の方々のホスピタリティーも高く、天気にも恵まれたので快適でした。熱帯魚が手元の餌に群がり、運が良ければウミガメが足元の海底や目の前を泳いでいきます。高齢の方にもお勧めできると思います。
【注意】
①朝起きたら、まず酔い止め薬を飲んでから参加したほうがいいです。酔い止めを飲み忘れて何人か船酔いしていました。
②水から出た後、船上はとても寒いので年齢や体調に関わらず"全員"、ビーチタオルやレインコート、ウィンドブレーカーを着て体を冷やさないようにする必要があります。
③眩しいのでサングラスを持っていくとなおいいかと思います。釣り用の偏光サングラスがあれば、晴れていたら船上から海の中を見ることもできるかもしれません。

Pick from driver was prompt and on time. Once we arrived, we were given very clear instructions once on the boat, all the staff and the captain was very friendly and once we were on our way, everything we needed to know was explained clearly.
The actual scooter came on another boat and we were told how to get in and out of it, and I have to say the experience was unlike anything I've ever done before! We were only about 10-12 feet down but it was so wonderful to be in the water and not having to worry about anything.
The divers were very very professional and attentive, very friendly and very knowledgeable, and once we were done with the scuba scooter experience, it was a nice relaxing time on the boat to either go snorkeling or just enjoy the beautiful scenery around us!
Highly recommended, the staff was absolutely great and the captain was "cherry"!
Will definitely do it again next time we are in Honolulu! Highly recommended!!

I had se opportunity to get really close to the fishes and turtles I just would like to see corals. Also the scootter was too noisy when moving other than that everything was perfect.

シーウォークはどこにでもあるが、水中バイクはここでしかない！
沖縄にも２０年くらい前に万座ビーチにあったが、その時は気候でできなく、それ以来なくなっており残念に思ってました！
しかし今回のハワイで見つけて迷わずに申し込みをして正解だった。
魚の数が昔のハワイに比べてかなり減っているのが残念でならないが、魚よりもこのアトラクションって考えると是非おすすめですね！

水中で写して貰った写真についての連絡がきません。
それを除けば…
インストラクターは親切で気持ち良く、
近づいてくる魚は
イメージ写真に限りなく近く感動的でした。
スキューバーでも同等な感動を味わえますが、我が家は家内が泳げないので、
水中スクーターは救いの神となりました。

Me and my husband were on our honey moon and decided to do this! Such a blast! When you wait your turn you can snorkel, which I got to swim with a sea turtle! Then we got to go on the awesome scooters and you get to feed/touch the fish!
Also if you get sea sick or think you might take something before hand!
The staff was excellent! So nice and helpful! They all did an amazing job!

My 10 year old absolutely loved this excursion! Being face to face with the underwater life was amazing. Would highly suggest for families. When not underwater you have the option to snorkel and chill along the boat.

Honolulu Snorkeling Tour with Underwater Scooter - Trident Adventures

Loved going snorkeling with Trident Adventures! We ended up doing a last minute upgrade from the snorkel package to the PADI Skindiver Program and it was so worth it. The main thing the upgrade got for us was the use of one of their DPVs, which is an Diver Propulsion Vehicle. Its basically an underwater scooter that you hold on to and cruise around. It was a little awkward at first, but with some tips and pointers from the instructor I was able to get the hang of it and had so much fun cruising around the reef! Apparently these things are very expensive, so it's very unique for a dive shop to have them available to non-SCUBA divers.

One of the best!

This was one of the best activities I tried in Hawai’i.
The crew were friendly, helpful and always made time for you.
The trip out was fun too.
The Underwater Scooter was easy to navigate and the crew always helped if needed.
The video of the trip was worthwhile purchasing, as there is good clear footage.
The crew gave you bread to feed the fish from the boat and kept you entertained if you choose to not snorkel while waiting for the other people to take their turn on the Underwater Scooter
Highly recommended!

Great experience, but rough seas.

The scooter experience was great. Very unique. If you tend to seasickness go with the first group. Luckily, I did or I don’t think I could have done it. The area where we scootered is rough, and quite a few people got sick. I had hoped to snorkel and swim afterwards, but was too sick. My companions were just fine.
Saw several turtles and different kinds of fish. Also, morning trips are supposed to be calmer than afternoon.

OMG- my husband and I found this activity last minute, and we went ahead and booked with the hope that would be a cool experience. It went above and beyond on our expectations, and all I can say is that we are so happy we found you guys! My husband loves to snorkel, I on the other hand don’t.. I tried before and my hair usually gets stuck in the equipment, water comes inside of my ears and mouth... this is an Amazing alternative to snorkel, but much much better!
The whole staff was smooth and patient. You will see so many fishes, it’s def incredible! Worth every penny, and I even think they should charge more... 1st class experience!

This was such a fun experience to share with my wife. This was our honeymoon and we really loved the fact that they took great pics of us on the underwater scooters while feeding the fish. Even after our ~20min turn was over, we still had an hour to snorkel and swim around which was amazing! I’ve never been so close to sea turtles in my life!!

Simply a magnificent experience!!

I was invited to a wedding in Honolulu and the bride and I were looking at a few activities for us to do while there. I saw the video for the BOB and we immediately wanted to do it. We made reservation for the 4 of us. I’m not a swimmer and haven’t been since high school. The staff was so professional and caring. I love their motto of “we treat everyone as non swimmers...” Their patience is great with all participants. Very knowledgeable about their equipment, their staff and the environment. Each staff played their part in our safety and the for the fish and turtles! And the fact they not only take pictures, they give you memorable videos. 日本語で最初にレクチャーしてくれるのでやり方は問題ないです。
スクーターはあまり自分で動かせませんが、魚たちを間近で見ることができます！
ウミガメをちらっとみれました！
ただ、スクーター中はいいのですが、船の上で1時間くらい待つ必要があるのでだいぶ酔います笑
スクーターの順番が後ならそこで酔いはなくなると思います。
頭の周りが空気なので、ストレスなくダイビングできるので新感覚です。

This is a must do adventure, and well worth the price. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised at the 1-to-1 ratio of divers to BOBs in the water. They really make sure everyone is comfortable in the BOBs and are doing okay throughout the dive. The 1 hour of free time is basically during the time others are in the BOBs. They provide snorkeling equipment if you want to hop in the water during that time. We had a gray and windy day, so it was quite cool on the boat during the off time. So if your weather is not the best, consider bringing a windbreaker.

My husband and I did this excursion together. He loves scuba diving, so he enjoyed it, but not as much as he does diving. I, on the other hand, get claustrophobic diving, so I LOVED this because I didn’t have to have anything touching my face/a mouthpiece. While under water, we saw tons of fish and sea turtles. In addition to scuba scootering, we got to snorkeling while we waited our turn for the scooters, so it was like two excursions in one. The staff were all great too!

車でツアーオフィスに行き、そこでスクーターの乗り方の説明ビデオを見ます。その後、船で沖にでてスクーターに乗ります。
一台のスクーターにスタッフが一人ついて乗せてくれます。
スタッフは現地の方で日本語はほとんど通じないため、操作方法はちゃんとビデオを見て覚えておくのがおすすめです。
水中ではエサに魚がたくさんよってきて楽しいです。ウミガメにも出会えましたよ！！！

Phenomenal experience with the scooters!

This experience was one I have no regrets booking. The divers and guides were wonderful. You always felt safe and were never left alone because you have your own personal diver with you at all times. But you feel at peace and just immerse yourself with the wonders of life underwater. They provide you with all the equipment you need even snorkel gear for your free time! Would highly recommend this activity!

Crew, Equipment exceeded expectation, for swimmers and non swimmers alike. IWS Underwater scooter is an event you will cherish. My wife and I were thankful they could take us on short notice. A complete package from reservation, pick up, instruction, operation, pics and drop off.
