Reviewed by: Bearman, 2020/02/15What can I say. Any time I can surprise my wife and make her smile , especially after a long flight, is a great way to start a vacation. Met outside the gate as we got off the plane, put the Lai over my wife's head with a warm aloha , she then offered to guide us to baggage claim, which we passed on. She followed us from a distance and when I did come to a not sure point she guided us. For me great experience.

Great way to be greeted on arriving in Hawaii.
Reviewed by: Surfer Girl, 2018/11/05We were greeted as soon as we arrived and the lei is still looking well after a few days. Our greeter took pictures and it was a nice way to have anyone who visits Hawaii (especially for the first time). I was hoping for a fuller lei and I'm glad I got my friend the deluxe one since it I thought that it would have been fuller but the lei itself was not as full as I thought it would be. I would not be excited to see the less lei.
The greeter herself. was wonderful! She even offered us help with our bags and walked us to the baggage claim.

Getting lei

There was a little confusion she held up two signs one for my grandson named young and one for us name Weiss, however, when we came off the plane she thought that she was still waiting for another person and then realized that all three were us. She even took the time to walk us to the escalator and show us where to go for baggage.

Nice Leis

The leis themselves were large, full leis that were very pretty. (A little heavy, due to the size.) Definitely worth it for my wife, who has put up with me for 20 years of marriage!

It was a beautiful lei, presenter was a nice lady and walked with me to baggage claim as well. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and a good resource. This was great experience after a long day to be presented with a beautiful and fresh lei! I definitely recommend this offer to anyone going to Hawaii.

A nice touch when arriving in Hawaii

She took the time to take pictures of us with our leis and then was very hepful in directing us to the areafor taxi pickup. The leis were beautiful, fresh, made complely from flowers with no bead fillers, and lasted the week. I would highly recommend them.

Nice Hawaiian Welcoming!

Made sure we didn't require any assistance getting to bag claim. Overall a nice welcoming to Hawaii, especially since it was my Nephew's first visit!

Lei Greeting

We purchased the silk leis to keep for souvenirs. They were a better quality than I expected, but expensive for what they were. I guess we were paying for the greeting service too.
Overall, a great experience for our first time to Hawaii. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Lei Surprise

My mom had the hollywood version of Hawaii in her head (the hula dancer and ukulele greeting as you walk off the plane) which we all know doesn't happen, so I suprised them with the lei greeting. They were met at the gate with the leis and had grins from ear to ear. I got them the double strand of flowers and everywhere they went (car rental, airport staff, etc) stopped them to tell them it was the best lei they had seen - they see them all day long. This made my parents smile even more. I would highly recommend this to people who are first timers to the island, it really sets a mood for the start of your vacation.

I would recommend this service, especially as a surprise for a family member, or for a first time visitor to the Islands.

A Great Way to Start our trip!

She was patient as we dug for our camera to take her picture (she was holding our beautiful leis and a sign with our name on it and my husband wanted a photo). She greeted us with a welcome smile and "Aloha" and took us to baggage claim and waited with us until our shuttle arrived. She offered suggestions on what to do and where to go. The leis were gorgeous, however I would recommend getting the less expensive leis as they are also pretty and not so heavy to wear!

A nice start to the trip

Seeing our names when we got of the plane and being escorted to the bagage claim was nice, the leis were so beautiful and everyone commented on them asking us where we got them. They were WAY WAY nicer then the ones they sold at booths in the airport. I recommend this if you are celebrating something special or if it is your first time in Hawaii. Loved it :) They lasted days!!!!

A sweet beginning!

These are gorgeous real flowers and they lasted the entire week we were there. Amanda was very cheerful and kind, took us to get our baggage and made sure we knew how to get a taxi to our hotel. She chatted about some local area attractions and was a welcoming start to our vacation. Landing in a strange place for the first time, it was nice to see someone there waiting for us and welcoming us to their area. Makes the Hawaiian vacation authentic and what we all think of when we think of Hawaii. Thanks, Amanda!!

Happy customer

Didn't catch the greeter's name as we were exhausted, but her friendly face was waiting right by the exit gate with a sign that had my daughter's name clearly marked. Our flight had been delayed, and while she was friendly, she appreciated that we weren't feeling our best. I ordered the standard lei for my daughter hoping it wouldn't set off her allergies. Smelled great, looked beautiful and no reaction. She took us to baggage claim and made sure we had transportation to the hotel. I would definitely do this again for other friends or family coming to visit.

Worth the leis
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2009/06/10My husband and I were first time visitors to Hawaii and wanted the full experience, including the lei greeting. We had already indulged by flying first class so we were nice and relaxed and so excited to be in Hawaii! The greeter was literally right at the gate so we saw her right away. Unfortunately it was just some chick in a flowered "Hawaii" shirt with our names on a piece of paper and a plastic grocery bag who placed our leis, said welcome to Hawaii and pointed us in the wrong direction to the baggage claim. I had planned on giving her a tip of a couple bucks but she bailed so quickly I didn't even get a chance. At least she stuck around long enough to take a pic of my husband & I with our leis! Luckily my husband and I were in such a great mood and happy to be there we just laughed it off and went on our way. The leis were beautiful and lasted several days, unfortunately we had no way to keep them cool and make them last longer, but we have wonderful pictures as keepsakes
