Reviewed by: Neil, 2024/05/07Very limited instruction was given into how to use the mask and snorkel. Mine was all twisted up and none of the staff provided any assistance.
The reef area is choppy and murky making it very difficult to see. There were 4 other boats there so the area was quite crowded. We saw 1 turtle and a few fish. Pretty disappointing.
If you are looking for a magical reef experience then I suggest go somewhere else like the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Back on the boat we were offered 1 drink only even though the tour says 3 alcoholic drinks are provided.
Wouldn't recommend.

Not as good as anticipated
Reviewed by: Brenda, 2022/10/20I’m not sure if my expectations were too high or what but it wasn’t what I was expecting. I still had a good time and we did see one turtle. The crew was great so no complaints there. As far as the beer and cocktails go….they offer them to you about 10 minutes before you get off the boat so you have time for about one lol!! The day we went there really wasn’t even hardly any fish to see. Plus there were so many other boats in the same exact place it just felt crowded.

Pretty good, but short & crowded

We were taken to a small area with 5 other boats so swimming in the water was like walking through Disneyland. People were kept in a very small area. They said 60 mins of swimming but it felt closer to 45 mins, maybe. If you want to see coral and explore freely, this is not the tour for you. If you want to see some turtles and fish this is a nice starting point. They offer 3 alcoholic beverages which are impossible to drink on the short return home and none are permitted prior to snorkelling. We only got this one b/c others were sold out, but if you really want those beverages be prepared to drink fast ;-). I wouldn't do this one again.

It was okay!
Reviewed by: Ashley Q, 2022/03/01The staff were really nice and the boat ride was cool. It was only 10 minute ride out to the snorkel spot and the drinks are served after the snorkeling, so there wasn't time to have advertised 3 drinks (which is fine, but jut something you should be aware of). The location itself does have sea turtles but the water is fairly deeps and the overall experience (as far as what one would expect) is pretty lack luster. Another tour operator was in the same location and they had a guide pointing out fish, turtles, etc. to ensure everyone got the opportunity to see the marine life, but this tour did not. Also, if you have your own PFD, bring it! My first PFD didn't hold air (a fun surprise) and the second one was at least 1/2 deflated by the time I got out. All in all, it was an okay time but I wouldn't do it again.

Down and dirty
Reviewed by: Cali sunny, 2021/11/11Water was super choppy which was not their fault. Captain Junior was kind of a jerk. He was preoccupied with his phone and his smokes. While we road out to the spot, the intro was more about tips and rules than about the snorkel experience. I ended up tipping half of what I planned to tip prior to the trip. I would have liked a little more instruction on how to use the snorkel gear. I was told "it's pretty self explanatory." Bella was the life guard and pulled the anchor. She was a badass. Only had about 45 mins in the water and no time to enjoy "free drinks." Would only recommend if you know how to swim, snorkel, can pound drinks and are only looking for a cheap ride out to sea.♀️
