Sea Life Park Admission Day Pass & Dolphin Greeting - Kid Friendly!
Overall Rating
4.54A little short
Reviewed by: Mark, 2016/07/16We enjoyed the dolphin encounter. However, we paid extra for the dolphin swim but were denied. We even showed our reservations that said, "Dolphin swim/Dolphin encounter". But since the tags they gave us were wrong they didn't want to talk to us. A very expensive encounter.

Decent outing..
Reviewed by: Sankalpa, 2015/06/13Swam with the dolphins, watched the dolphin show (the best part of the day), saw turtles, rays and the lot. But coming to the review, the park is decent. not very big. The swimming with the dolphins is daylight robbery at 200 odd dollars. It's a few feet holding their fin..it's over even before you realize. Wouldn't advice spending so much for it. The ride to the park however, was gorgeous and informative. The driver of the pick up vehicle (prompt..reached 10 mins early actually) was very nice, a great guide. Worth a visit but just spending on the shows at the park may be worth it.

Sea Lion Swim
Reviewed by: Tracy, 2014/09/17This was a neat experience, however I feel like I can experience this at any sea park along the coast in the States. It was our first time so we are glad we had the experience. However, across the street there is a beautiful beach spot. I would have rather stayed on that beach and swam!

Swimming with the Dolphins
Reviewed by: Kaila Toone, 2013/09/11It was a very nice park but I expected a little more interaction with the dolphins for the amount of money you spend on this activity. My kids had an okay time but didn't feel like it was special because there was about 10-12 people per group. Not intimate enough!

Disappointed with some aspects
Reviewed by: Michael Sharp, 2013/01/13I booked the Dolphin Adventure on-line prior to leaving Australia. We were notified by email that our activity was scheduled to commence at 2.30pm and that our transportation pick-up would be at 8.50am. However, a few days prior to the activity we were informed that out pick-up time was to be changed to 11.50am. This 3 hour change in pick-up severely reduced the time we had available to undertake our activity as well as see the many attractions at Sea Life Park such as the shark tank and sea lion show / feeding. After paying almost $800 (activity, photos, meals) we were very disappointed and felt as though we didn't receive full value for our money. The photos are very expensive - $40 for 3 large prints - I would also have liked to purchase the digital negatives of the photos that were taken so that we could have copies to give to grandparents. My family had a good day but it could truly have been an "unforgetable" day had things been a little different.

Hello Sea Life
Reviewed by: sigridrose, 2012/08/24Our family of three had a wonderful time at Sea Life. We enjoyed the attractions that we had ALREADY booked. Advanced booking is advised. This adventure is for pictures (that they take) and being able to touch the animals. One can have an other person with them to take family pictures and not participate. The swim with the sharks are for children that are not afraid of having a 75 pound helmet on their heads and going under the water with air in the helmet. The sharks are small and safe. The manta ray was more exciting in this tank. The dolphin experience of "kissing", "holding", and touching them was fun. although very short. The seal picture taking was also fun to be able to touch and hold the seal. The part where we interacted with the manta ray was extraordinary because the thought of being with this animal is educational. All in all -- a good experience that was worth all of the money we spent. The pictures were sold at a high price and when we tried to get a bargain to purchase

Don't Expect Sea World
Reviewed by: From Western PA, 2008/08/24This certainly isn't Sea World. It is a very small (quaint) park. If you have had the experience to swim with dolphins like I had in Mexico (ocean evironment, large swim area for dolphin, small group), this certainly isn't the same.
It is a bit expensive, but one of the cheaper ones. It is in a small tank environment with about 4 groups of 10. Each group does have their own dolphin. It is a quick kiss, belly rub, and belly ride. They really just want to sell you pictures or a cd. My younger children enjoyed it (10 and 11), but they have never done it before. Don't have pictures, because only their photographers can get close enough to take any. I did enjoy the drive out, and the scenery.
