Drinks very good, but a little pricey if you ran out of tickets...
My husband and I enjoyed this dinner cruise. Food was very good, but we did not care for the salad..

A nice dinner cruise date
Reviewed by: OceanBoy, 2008/06/28I took my girlfriend to this dinner cruise cuz I heard great things about it. It def. met my expectation, but I wish I had more money to do 5star. We did three star, and it was still good, but if you are really into that person you are with, you should do 5 star (no offense to my gf... next time...) i had a chance to peek the top floor, and it looked really nice inside. Neverthless, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Thanks!

Reviewed by: jd, 2008/05/30We found the experience a total refreshment. From the loading on the ship to the disembarking, the personal attention to our needs was delightful. We found the food to be excellent. The only down side we found was their taste in music, but to each his/her own.
We found the Vow Renewal part not as exciting as anticipated but well worth the expense.

absolute lovely

We absolutely loved the experience and the staff. Kalani and Joe were such a joy. I would strongly recommend the 5 star honolulu dinner cruise to any couple celebrating a special or intimate event.

Proposal on Dinner Cruise
Reviewed by: The Travel DRS, 2008/03/29My client called wanting a dinner cruise at sunset so he could ask the woman of his dreams to marry him!
As his travel agent I opted to use Hawaii Activities. We booked the Sunset Dinner Cruise and Tom added the private dinning options with the complimentary professional picture.
I received a picture text at 2:30am from Tom indicating that Conni had said yes, taken by a cruise line staff!
My clients had an absolutely wonderful time with memories that will carry them through their life together.
The Travel DRS will in the future recommend this cruise to any/all my clients as an option for their Hawaii vacation.
The Travel DRS give a 5**** to Hawaii Activities.
I will let other Travel Agents know about this site!
Customer Service is professional, helpful and respond the same day to any messages left for them. The website is user friendly and documents have easy accessibility.

Great Fun!

She thought watching the sunset out by diamond head was really romantic - bonus points for me! I never ate a whole lobster before and it was awesome. The show was pretty sweet too because it is a small stage and they are really close to you and they have cool costumes. Thanks for a great night!

great romantic night
Reviewed by: honeymoon in hawaii, 2008/02/17highly reccomend this dinner cruise to anyone who wants to have a great romantic night with the one you love. the staff is amazing and the food was just so delicious. i have been on many dinner cruises and the 5star was by far the best one i have ever been on. you can tell that the staff and the chefs take a lot of time and care to make sure that you have a great evening. worth every penny!

The boat, food, service and ambiance were beyond my expectations! I would highly recommend this Sunset Dinner Cruise.
Great job to all those at Hawaiian Activities that had anything to do with helping me to put on such a great celebration for my wife and family.

Great dinner cruise

I had two people which have trouble walking. The trek from the bus drop off, through the mall, to the ship was a bit too long. Also, I had a guest who is very particular about how his meat is cooked and they did not even ask how you want your steak done. Could improve on those two points for the benefit of us old folks!

Unforgettable evening!
Reviewed by: kara nelson, 2007/09/28My fiancée took me to the 5-Star on our last evening in Hawaii and it was the perfect end to a wonderful vacation. From the moment the limo picked us up from the hotel to the time we were dropped off, the customer service was INCREDIBLE. I am so glad that he decided to book the 5-Star since the other decks looked pretty crowded and definitely not as intimate as the Super Nova Deck.
We got the Couple's Plan upgrade and we got window seating, a bottle of champagne and this great photo of us on this pretty leather cover. The maître d' and the waiters provided incredible service and the whole atmosphere was very upscale and refined.
The dinner was very scrumptious and I loved how there were many different dishes served throughout the evening. Also, I had been on other dinner cruises where they bombard you with annoyingly LOUD touristy Hawaiian music, but with the 5-Star, it was soothing jazz and I LOVED IT!
This is the PERFECT romantic dinner cruise!!!

We opt for the limo transportation (not worth it, its only a 10 minute ride without traffic) and realized that the docks were not far from the wakiki hotel area. Anyway, they take you onto the boat and direct you to the appropriate floor according to the package you select. We selected the 5 star which was relaxing and not a party environment like downstairs(4 star). You listen to jazz and singing. It's very romantic and the views are out of this world. The 7 course dinner is ok, small protions but you do get kinda full. Couples plan is recommended. They brought our champagne very late which was disappointing but they gave us a free picture and the bottle to make up for it. They give you drink coupons anyway so it's no big deal. Our cruise was almost ruined because of the disrespectful crowd right next to us. One person in particular was laughing very loud you couldn't even hear the perform

wonderfull staff, but a bumpy ride
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2007/08/07The staff & service are both fantastic. They are so accommodating. The food is very good, however I was not able to enjoy it because I was so seasick. I didn't expect it to be such a rough ride. The boat could use an upgrade & makeover for sure. It's a bit dated. Entertainment was OK. That part could use an upgrade as well. They should know that there ARE good songs from this decade as well. Spring for the upgrade. Downstairs looked a bit crowded.

Star of Honolulu was a great time!

The dinner was good- nice portions ( we did NOT go home hungry), and the music and show was a blast! The top deck was perfect for taking sunset pictures of Diamond Head. We did the couple's plan and recommend it to any couple deciding on this package. This ended up being a really fun night for the both of us and would highly recommend it to anyone going to Oahu!

Pacific Star - Star of Honolulu

A lot of the dinner cruises don't seem to put to much thought and effort in the cuisine, but whoever came up with the menu for the Pacific Star obviously knew what they were doing. The nice thing was how relaxing and quiet it was. My sister walked around the boat and noticed how loud the hula show was, and I am glad that we chose the Pacific Star. The guitar player was top-notch and it was a nice not having to yell at each other to hear everyone over the music.

RELAXING AND BEAUTIFUL

I WAS WORRIED THAT THE BOAT WOULD BE ROCKY BUT IT WAS SMOOTH SAILING AND THE UPPER DECK IS A GREAT PLACE TO SIT BACK AND RELAX WITH YOUR HUNNY!

Sunset Cruise

good food and good times
Reviewed by: celektra, 2007/05/12a friend of mine who went to hawaii last spring break told me about the pacific star and i am so glad that she did. the food is sooooo good and it is awesome being in the private lounge since i went around the boat and saw the other decks and they were totally crowded. we had our own private restroom and even a nice little deck area too. and only $5 for martinis! can't go wrong!

Pacific Star All the Way!

The Star of Honolulu is a vessel that I often frequent when I am here in the islands since it has always provided my husband and I with a wonderful evening. The Pacific Star has become our new favorite with its initimate lounge setting, quiet atmosphere, delicious Pacific Rim cuisine and a chocolate fondue-like dessert that is to tasty for words. I personally do not like the loud and rowdy hula shows, so the Pacific Star is definitely my cruise of choice!

One Star Dinner Cruise

To begin the night was a graceful performance of the hula performers who greeted us aboard. We enjoyed songs of a live band and our favorite cocktails as we were seated to our table. The interior of the boat was elegantly decorated with special lighting and table settings, perfect for setting the mood of any occasion. As the large boat cruised smoothly through the waters of Oahu, my friends and I were able to capture beautiful photos together on the observation deck. With the sea surrounding us, we watched the beautiful sunset. Our dinner was immediately brought to our table with excellent service. We had an excellent steak and all you can eat crab dinner course. Throughout the rest of our tour, we watched an entertaining act of Polynesian dancers of different cultures, like Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, and Tongan performances done by professionals with great aloha sp
