早朝のクルージングは最高
Reviewed by: KAPA, 2014/12/14早朝の回に参加しました。前回参加したとき（２月）に比べて、滞在していたホテルから見られるクジラの数がかなり少なかったので、まだ季節的に早かったかと少し心配していましたが、まったく問題なくたくさんのクジラを見ることができました。
今回初めて早朝の回に参加したのですが、美しい朝日を見ながらのクルージングは最高でした！島々が明るくなるにつれ、だんだんと濃い色になっていくのを見ることができます。帰港するのは9:30頃なので一日を有効に使うことが出来、とてもオススメです。

The bartenders are great with premium drinks served, and the food buffet was spectacular. The entertainment was ongoing through the complete evening, and the staff were excellent.

Spectacular Haleakala Sunrise Tour with Park Admission & Breakfast at Mill House
Wow!
Reviewed by: Letitia, 2014/12/07So we got up at 2am to get ready to get our bus. We took the bus up the mountain. We arrived and stepped off the bus to like 40 degrees!! 40 degrees in Hawaii? Yes when you are 10,000 feet up!! Duh!! Forgot my jacket but bought some souvenir sweatshirts in the visitor center :) so remember your jacket.
We stood and watched the sunrise and it was worth being cold for an hour. What an experience. Will do it again for sure!

Super Tour !
Reviewed by: Anu, 2014/12/04This was one of the best tour at Maui. The tour is very informative with respect to the history of pineapple in Hawaii. The guide provided us so much of information and was very good. The tour includes trip to the Maui Gold pine apple processing plant and also to the place where pineapple are actually grown. We got to taste the great Maui gold pineapples and also got to take one home for each one of us. The tour begins at a place which is so cool, got some wonderful pictures at this place.
Overall, it was a tour beyond my expectation. My kids loved it . My son who does not like pineapple started eating pineapple after this tour.
It is a tour which should NOT be missed when you are at Maui

Awesome pineapple tour
Reviewed by: Vish, 2014/12/04This was one of the tour which brought in pleasant surprise . The tour guide Steve was very courteous and started the tour on time. We got to see the Maui Gold factory where they are processed and packed. Free pineapple for each participant was awesome ! Then the guide took us to the farm where the pineapple are actually grown . The farm is so beautiful, we got a chance to look at pineapple in various stages . The guide,Steve, helped us taste pineapple and showed us 3 different varieties of them . On the way back we learnt many things about pineapple and sugar cane .
I would recommend this tour for everyone , specially for the group with children.

Lahaina Sunset Dinner Cruise w/ Live Music & Cocktails - Maui Princess [CLOSED]
Had an OK time

Seating is assigned, and someone sat in our seats, but we were moved to another table and made new friends! That was probably the best part of the evening.

Reviewed by: Barbara Angeja, 2014/11/29The boat on this tour was quite old and needs attention to cleanliness and accomodations for serving of food left a little to be desired. The access to the water for snorkeling was not pleasant. The very steep ladder was unpleasant. The second stop for snorkeling I just jumped off the boat instead of trying to get down the steep stairs. The crew seemed to be short handed. They could have used one more crew member. Aside from the above, the staff really made our trip worthwhile. Snorkeling off the island of Lanai was very beautiful, the coral pristene, water calm and inviting. The second snorkel stop on the Maui side was not pleasant but it was not the fault of the crew. The weather front came in and made it almost impossible to snorkel with the strong current.

The pride of maui boat is a very clean and comfortable boat and the crew is very professional and eager to help with friendly and cheery attitudes. The food was presented in a very professional and appetizing fashion and there was plenty of it. The complimentary drinks were the best we have had during our stay on Maui including the fanciest of hotels. The entertainment was very enjoyable. We wished we had been able to stay on our trip longer and would have booked another sunset dinner cruise because we felt it was a great cruise for the price. We would recommend this to anyone.

Skyline Eco-Adventure - Kaanapali Zipline Adventure with Expert Local Guides
Super Fun Kaanapali Zipline Adventure

Our guides, Matt and Cliff, were amazing and they were super funny, detailed, careful, and made us feel like VIP;s. Our whole group agreed that those two made the whole thing amazing! The views were breathtaking and the weather was perfect. First time ziplining and I would totally recommend it to anybody especially through Veltra. Veltra made booking easy and also had no problem when we wanted to change to a ziplining adventure that was closer to our resort. Matt and Cliff reassured us that our novice level experience would not hinder our perfect vacation and they were completely right. If there is one adventure that cannot go missed while being in Maui, it must be ziplining Kaanapali. Two thumbs way up and look forward to trying all of the other adventures offered by Veltra in the future.

Great Maui day trip
Reviewed by: stroey, 2014/11/18We had a great time on this trip - the crew were friendly and informative, the snorkel locations (2) were varied with clear calm water and the scenery along the way spectacular.
Unfortunately on this trip, no dolphins. However, the added bonus was at least 6 humpback whales, with one curious juvenile circling the boat and the crew provided in-depth information about whale migration and habits which enhanced the viewing experience. Amazing!
Only detraction for me was that I felt more information could have been provided around the snorkel portion (e.g. type of fish, function of coral reefs) and the islands themselves would have really enhanced the experience.

Reviewed by: krishna, 2014/11/17My wife and me went for DINNER CRUISE, its really good feel we got. They took us to middle of the ocean for the sunset and it was memorable sunset for us. I liked the people on the cruise they always used to come to us and will ask is everything ok and for drinks like that. After entering into cruise they started giving drinks and its unlimited. I had few cocktails and my wife had soft drinks. Then we went to sunset and after sunset we had dinner. All the time there is live music going on cruise. And main think i booked through Veltra.com, these people are really amazing, they are calling me before 1 day and making sure that i have this activity and letting me know where i have to check in and all details. I really liked this website. Even i have a time problem some how they are managing and scheduling to other day and finally making that activity happening. Really good website for activities booking and had fun in Sunset Cruise too...

Awesome!
Reviewed by: Amie, 2014/11/16First time going to Maui and first time horseback riding. This was so fun! We did quite a few excursions during our 10 day trip and this was definitely my favourite! The guide was awesome, learned a lot, the people are so laid back and easy to talk to, and would definitely go back again. Both myself and my boyfriend has decided to take up horseback riding back home. The scenery during this tour is also incredible!

Thrilling Haleakala 5-Line Zipline Tour - Skyline Eco Adventure

Reviewed by: Tianxiong, 2014/11/09What a wonderful day to expend about 2.5 hours in Haleakala. The stuff are very friendly. If I spell their names correctly, their names are Shin and Kathy. Shin is a fun guy that talked many jokes in this adventure. Kathy is a girl studying her undergraduate. She is enthusiastic in protecting environment in Maui.
This zipline fun activity does not require any past experience or training. Unlike some zipline that needs you to know some basic stuff like how to slow down using glove or how to handle when you get stuck in the middle of the zipline, here the stuff will take care of everything including landing. What you need to do is to free yourself and just enjoy. It contains five zipline courses and a skywalk bridge. I love the last zipline most. That one is the longest zipline that I have ever tried. Also, it has a great view. The max speed reaches 40 mph, and we go forth and backward multiple times. Shin uses the ladder to help us go down the zipline. That’s really fun!

Lanai Island Guided 4x4 SUV Sightseeing Trekker Tour with Maui to Lanai Ferry
Get Full Information Before Tour
Reviewed by: DAT, 2014/11/09Lanai is worth seeing (once) and we are glad we went. We chose this tour because we didn't just want to go snorkling or sit on a beach but wanted to see the whole island. We did not want to drive ourselves and wanted some history. Unfortunately, the tour company booked our full day tour along with another couple's half day tour. Our guide Tony is a really nice person, but as he said, they only call him when the other regular guides are all booked. He struggled to make two different tours work together, and we were the losers. We simply drove to Garden of the Gods, had a brief moment outside the GM four wheel drive suburban (in which my wife and I sat in the far rear seats for the time with the other couple, which was pretty uncomfortable), and then drove back and out to Shipwreck beach. Then Tony dropped us off to buy our lunch in Lanai City while he drove the other couple to the ferry to conclude their half day tour. He picked us up at 1:30 in Lanai City, and we drove around about every street which was sociologically interesting but not much about seeing the island. Then we drove to the old pineapple loading harbor, and down to the residential area around the Four Seasons at the beach. We asked to terminate the tour early and took an earlier ferry back. Tony repeated most of his morning stories in the afternoon. He is a nice guy, a safe driver and grew up on the island so had many personal stories, but not a lot of history outside the personal stories.
Do not take this tour unless the company confirms that they are not booking two conflicting tours together. Try to get the other guides.

Favorite tour on Maui

I had moderate expectations as I am not a "walk through the farm" type of girl, but this was a favorite of my boyfriend and myself. First of, you are driven for the majority of the movement through the farm, so sandals were fine to walk in. Our tour guide Brett was very informative and explained everything about pineapple farming from planting to harvesting and distribution, and how to pick the perfect pineapple. We tasted pineapple at three separate stages and picked a pineapple straight from the stalk. You receive a free pineapple packed and ready for transport back to the states at the end of the tour and let me tell you these pineapples were HUGE. We saw the same two pack that we received for free at the airport for sale for $30. Brett also taught us how to use the pineapples we received to grow our own pineapples at home. Definitely a must go to tour if you are on Maui.

He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and catered to our needs.The helicopter tour was great. Justin was our pilot and he was excellent. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to see the volcano. I would do a longer helicopter tour next time, it was amazing.

Drums of the Pacific Luau with Open Bar at Kaanapali Hyatt Regency Maui

The guys performance was way better than the girls. The luau seemed shorter than the last time and of all luau's I have attended. We paid ALL this money for 3 of us. It was NOT cheap. 200.00+ dollars is quite much when your expecting a good show. Every luau I have been to, we were able totake pic with. This time NO1 did. All the dancers left. We paid for our "luau" picture and our 7 yr old son was soo excited because he thought he was going to be able to take pictures. We went to Maui on our honeymoon last yr and attended The Royal Lahaina and it was so great. It felt like how a luau should. The experience was amazing. We took pic with the performers and our son saw the pictures and wanted to do everything we did. I attended the drums of the pacific in 2007 with my late brother who recently passed and it was great. I wanted to go to this one to reminice about my time with my brother. Needless to say I hate posting a bad review because I love Hawaii. My sons first time in Hawaii and THIS was suppose to be the highlight. :/

We enjoyed the tour very much, especially the part where we were brought to the processing plant. It was very fascinating to see the quality control, packing, and shipping from start to finish. We took a lot of pictures of the exciting tour of the pineapple fields too. It was eye-opening to see the process for how pineapples are grown, especially since my family is so used to picking them up from the supermarket. It was also different eating them fresh from the field--an experience I'd recommend to just about everyone. We really enjoyed being given pineapples to bring home to California as well, one of my favorite souvenirs from my trip. We ended up sharing it with the whole family and some friends, and it was definitely the juiciest and sweetest pineapple we've ever had.

Maui Surf Lessons for Beginners at Kalama Beach Park (Kihei)
Great time surfing

Reviewed by: Megan, 2014/10/24Bruce was a fantastic guide. He was really passionate and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Can highly recommend it especially if you can get Bruce to show you around. We did the half day tour and saw a lot and then spent the rest of the day on the beach. Do this if you want to get the full experience of the island and what it has to offer.
