Old Lahaina Luau - Maui's Most Authentic Hawaiian Luau Dinner & Show

A perfect evening!

This might have been our favorite thing we did on our trip to Maui! Beautiful setting, delicious food and drink, education, and show! Our server was attentive, even to my daughters allergies (tell them ahead of time and they are so well prepared). And the sunset! I was hesitant at first about the cost but when you take into account the meal and the entertainment, it was well worth it. Will do it again if we are ever lucky enough to return!

This is truly a blessed authentic experience. The team has setup a wonderfully relaxing intimate evening for friends and family to experience traditional Hawaiian culture. Food is great, drinks are strong, dancing and performances are awesome. To top it off the location is stunning by the water with an amazing view of the sunset. 10/10 recommend to all travelers through Maui, Aloha!

I love the ferry

I always go back and forth on whether I want to fly or ride to ferry to Lana'i and I'm always so glad I choose the ferry when I do. Although it is a longer ride and takes a while to get to the harbor because of where I live, it's always a leisurely ride and I love watching the whales. The only downside is that if you don't get there early enough, you have to sit inside which is not as nice on a pretty day.

The only issue was parking. We were told to park in the lot across from the big banyan tree so we did. We got a $60 ticket for overtime parking. Not pleased!!!!!

The overall experience was good, the children had fun and my son got to go on the floating device with the window. My husband opted for the snub-a experience which he confirms was a blast. The staff was friendly, except one of the employees called me “crazy” which I took slightly offensive. Overall everyone had fun and it was a good experience.

Great day snorkeling with the family

This truly was our best day on Maui. The company did not try to overbook the boat, so we had plenty of room to walk around and take in the views. Lunch was great as well. But best of all was the crew. We had our 10 year old daughter and she had never swam in the ocean. She jumped in and panicked because of how far down she could see. The crew did everything they could until she was 100% comfortable. They gave her a life jacket, pool noodles, a board she could float on and look through a hole to still see fish, and they even let her sit on their surf board so they could push her over to see some turtles they found. After their help on our first snorkel stop, she was good to go on stop 2 and had a blast! We made some great core memories thanks to the crew.

The shows were fantastic. The performers did a fantastic job teaching history. There were two boutiques selling homemade jewelry and wood cravings in the beginning. The food was amazing. I recommend to come hungry because there is a lot of food. Kona was a fantastic server and my girls loved how welcome she made us feel.

This was a great alternative to actual snorkeling. The divers and staff were very informative and very friendly. They made sure everyone was happy and getting the most out of the adventure. However the water was murky and not a lot of ocean creatures. But you see what’s there at that time. Would do again. Certainly an experience we will remember.

They had a great crew and did everything to make the trip wonderful: small group and lots of fun. Well worth the price.
The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that we bought water shoes for the trip and found out when we got there it was barefoot only. Would have done things differently had I known.

Easy ride over to Lanai

It was a great ride! If you want to sit on top of the ferry and get a good view, be sure to get there early. We saw lots of whales on our way back from Lanai! Take a Dramamine if you get a little motion sickness and you won’t have any issues. The ferry was spacious and super easy to book online. We will definitely be going back to lanai using this service!

The tour guide took us into the ocean beyond the cruise ship (as in the picture below). We saw whales and heard a whale singing from under the Kayaks. Most beautiful experience. I’m not a pro at kayaking, but the guide was always looking out to keep us up with the more avid kayakers. He had all the answers to our questions. Could not snorkel that day as the water was murky. Had a wonderful time. I would do it all over again given the chance.

Quicksilver Lanai Snorkeling Cruise & Dolphin Encounter with Meals [May-Oct]

The experience was fantastic! We saw dolphins and whales on our way to the snorkeling destination. We saw sea turtles, colorful coral and all types and colors of fish while snorkeling. The crew was very friendly and offered a great (optional) intro for us first timers before we got in the water. Gear was in excellent condition and wet suits, noodles and life belts were offered free of charge. The lunch was good and so were the cocktails provided after snorkeling. We even won a prize for the trivia game we played. All 3 generations in our group loved it and would do it again!
