Snorkeling Destinations: Molokini Crater OR The Coral Gardens

• Molokini Crater: In the afternoon, the trade winds and ocean conditions typically prevent most boats from reaching Molokini. The size and stability of Calypso allows her to safely go where others cannot, this means making the 9 nautical mile crossing to Molokini is a definite possibility. Once there we are likely to be the only boat anchored in the protected waters of the iconic crater.

• The Coral Gardens: The Coral Gardens is the other possible snorkel destination for this cruise and is considered just as good if not better than the reefs of Molokini! The Coral Gardens is also a shorter distance from the harbor, which means less time cruising and more time snorkeling!
