About Honolua Bay

Honolua Bay is located on the northeast tip of Maui, just north of Kapalua, and is a Marine Life Conservation District designated by the Hawaii Department of Natural Resources. Although it isn't a popular destination for beachgoers, it is one of the "go-to" spots for snorkeling and SCUBA enthusiasts. Due to its classification as a conservation district, visitors to the area are not allowed to remove anything from the water, whether it is a pebble or a living creature, and this has allowed the bay to blossom into a wondrous underwater wonderland.

What type of boat is used?

The 65-foot sailing catamaran, Ocean Spirit, is certified for up to 90 passengers but limited to 35 for comfort. She features the latest in navigational and sailing technology, an extra large deck with ample seating, trampoline style sundeck, on-board BBQ, a water slide and 3 swim ladders for easy water access. The luxurious interior of the vessel hosts the full bar, a premium surround sound system and "easy-on-the-feet" teak interior decking. The Ocean Spirit has His/Her restrooms on-board.
